“This was the longest I've left my dogs and had no worries. Kimberly treated my dogs like they were her own with lots of love and attention, had great communication, and sent lots of pictures and updates. There's nothing better than picking up well cared for and happy dogs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“The only sitter I’ll ever leave my old boy with again 😍🐾👍 Kathleen is so genuinely warm… I now have an elderly dog with a lot of medication and pain issues and she took superb care of him as if he were her own!!!! I got tons of updates and pictures and I always felt that he was in the best care!! I love the fact that her and her husband work from home so they’re always home with the animals❤️❤️ I cannot say enough good things about Kathleen. We’ve been using her for years now and she has always come through for last second dates…. Simply the best thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work you do.❤️❤️”

We were definitely nervous at first but she put as at ease quickly, and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was comfortable and happy. Will definitely rebook with Pallvi next time we go out of town.”

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life! I've owned dogs for as long as I can remember and have been pet sitting since I was just 7 years old. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love, and I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. Although I don't currently have pets of my own because I own a mobile bookstore and am sometimes out of town at events, I absolutely love welcoming furry guests into my home! Visiting dogs have plenty of room to run, explore, and play in my spacious, half-acre yard with a secure 6-foot fence. There's even an inground pool that some of my canine visitors love to enjoy with direct supervision! Inside, there are plenty of comfortable spots to relax, including a beautiful, sunny bay window that's always been a favorite lounging spot for visiting cats. I work remotely and am home approximately 90% of the time, allowing me to provide lots of attention, companionship, playtime, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Whether your pet loves outdoor adventures, playing fetch, or curling up for a cozy nap, I want them to feel completely at home. I am the sole caretaker for all pets booked through my Rover profile and personally handle all feeding, walks, supervision, and other pet care responsibilities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pet, and I'll treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I'd want for my own. You can expect regular photos, updates, and peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring hands! I can't wait to meet your four-legged best friend! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely and am home about 90% of the time. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether they enjoy active play in our large fenced yard, relaxing in a sunny spot by the bay window, or simply having someone nearby while they nap, they’ll have plenty of attention and supervision. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors and at home, so visiting pets become part of our daily activities and receive lots of love and interaction. Evenings are typically quiet and family-focused, making them a great time for cuddles, relaxation, and settling into a comfortable routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. In our home, pets are treated like family members and are supervised throughout the day since I work remotely and am home most of the time. We have a secure half-acre yard with a 6-foot fence, providing plenty of space for safe outdoor play and exercise. All outdoor time is supervised, and I always follow each pet owner’s preferences regarding activity levels, feeding schedules, routines, and house rules. Inside, pets have access to comfortable living spaces where they can relax, play, or nap. I take time to help new pets feel comfortable and adjust at their own pace. Whether your pet is energetic and social or prefers a quieter environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe and at home. Communication is important to me, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos during your pet’s stay. I understand that every pet is a beloved family member, and I care for them with the same attention, patience, and love that I would want for my own.

“Peggy was great! Our dog Groot had a wonderful time. She responded quickly to our request and thankfully, was okay booking last minute. She kept us updated regularly on how he was doing to keep our minds as ease. We will definitely be using her services again!”
“Renae was great! Our dog is a 6 month old puppy. We got him weeks before we hired Renae and were very worried about how he was going to do and if he was going to be okay. Renae went above and beyond the call. She took him to parks and the beach and kept him busy the whole weekend. She sent daily updates (sometimes even twice daily) that included pictures of him enjoying himself. We are first time dog owners and she did a great job of relieving the stress of leaving a dog so young with a stranger. She even gave us a few pointers that she's picked up on in her time with dogs. She's a true professional and I'm very impressed with the quality of care we received.”

“Gavin was very patient , kind and understanding of my crazy schedule for this weekend and also my first time pet parent anxiety, and my dog loved being in his carelol I would gladly book with him again!”

“Rabia and her family did an excellent job of taking care of Archie, my golden retriever. They are so caring and loving! Rabia was very accommodating to a last minute change in schedule and very attentive, giving us frequent updates. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs reassurance their pet is being well looked after with so much love!”

“Jeannie and her family were awesome! You can always tell how a dog was cared for by their condition when you take them back home. Our dog was relaxed, and in great condition and spirits when we got him back. The daily update pictures are really great too. We will be using Jeannie again in the future.”

“I have used Kendall twice now for overnight boarding of our puppy, Ziggy. She has been great with accommodating my requests and sends me updates and pictures daily. I know Ziggy loves staying with Kendall and her family because he comes home happy and tired. I’m so thankful to have found a caring and reliable pet sitter in Kendall and we will definitely be using her again!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Franks can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Franks home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Franks.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
