She also noticed him biting his paws due to allergies and alerted me right away. I was in an area with bad service and did not get the message right away so she went ahead and reached out to my vet and scheduled a time to go in because he had chewed his paw to the point where he was bleeding. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. She even followed up asking about him days later once we picked him up. You can just tell that Peggy is an animal lover. About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals! Currently have 3 loving and friendly dog along with 1 cat! They love when friends come over and they have someone to play with! We go on walks, love to be outside in our fenced in our back yard and snuggling up on the couch! My fur babies and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! I have a work from home career allowing me flexibility to be home and have also worked for a leading pet kennel/training/boarding/grooming facility that allowed me hands on handling for many different breed, size, difficulty, and aged pets. Trustworthy and reliable and enjoy all the wonderful and beautiful personalities our pets have and embrace them all! Dogs allowed on bed for sleeping time to cuddle but not on furniture. Prefer dogs that can feel comfortable in a roomy kennel should need arise to leave my home for a couple hours as to keep all fur babies safe in their own space while unsupervised. Well mannered pups preferred, Photos and videos provided during days activities. Attentive and loving, I’ll treat your pet like my own! I have a work from home career that allows me the flexibility to be with your fur baby for all their needs and attention during their stay. I work part-time from home and can let dogs out as often as needed. I’m happy to visit your home as well. My schedule is flexible to meet your needs! We are very cautious with doors to make sure no pets get outside without supervision. We aren’t allowed to have a fence in our neighborhood, so I’ll put dogs on a leash or a lead (depending on owner preference) to go outside. I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I would love to host your dog and make sure you are worry free while you're away! I work with dogs as a career and am home full time. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!
About: We have collective pet parent experience of over 40 years and have loved and cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and even beared dragons. Personally, I previously worked at PetCo in addition to volunteering with PAWS Chicago. In both roles I received extensive training in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. About: ** I took some time off of Rover and I am back with a limited schedule due to work hours** I am an avid dog lover and dog mom to 2 pups. Most of my life has revolved around dogs and I wouldn’t want it any other way! At a young age, I was trusted by all of the nieghbors to dog sit. After college, I was fortunate enough to foster a few rescues from a local humane society. Fostering dogs was a very rewarding experience as it gave me my 2 babies, Milo and Bear. Unfortunately, Bear and Milo have now passed and I miss them terribly everyday. I currently have a Doberman named Ambrose and an Australian Shepard named Max. They are a bonded pair and have so much energy! I have experience with very large dogs and puppies as young as 2 months old— but I am comfortable with all breeds! I am available for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. If you would like me to board your dog in my home, I welcome that as well! As long as they are dog friendly; my pups would love a new friend 😊 During the day on weekdays I work a full-time hybird job with flexibility. My in office days are Monday and Tuesday so usually unavailable those days. I am free for walks/drop ins during the week/weekend as well as house sitting. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking! Always excited to meet a new puppy! I am free all afternoons! But if needed in the morning or evening let me know! I’m always willing to negotiate a schedule to whatever is easiest for you! Unfortunately I am in an apartment so I will not be able to pet sit at my home, but whenever your pet needs to go outside I will keep an eye on them (especially if there is no fence)! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life; big medium small. I have always been able to create connections with furry friends by giving them lots of love and attention. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of senior dogs and their needs. As well as being just as playful as puppies are. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
