Cat Sitting in Ament Corners

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life from big dogs to small. I love walking my own dogs in forest preserves and I have dog-sat my neighbor’s dog before. I also worked at a pet store for a few months. I’m currently in school and have a part time job, but my mornings during the weekdays from 6 am to 11am are free to walk your dogs. I currently don’t offer pet care in my home, but I’m happy to travel to you. I make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while in their own home. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. I can also send updates and photos so you know they’re doing great while you’re away.

“Renee is amazing! This was the first time I've left my dogs with someone they don't know and she totally rocked! One dog has separation anxiety and the other takes weeks to warm up to anybody new. About: From dogs to turtles to birds. I grew up with animals all my life. I have my own young pup and senior dog. I truly know the time it takes, walking/ exercising, food schedule, and love to give to both! I love love love animals, so I definitely want to incorporate pet sitting into my lifestyle; especially if it means I can help others during their travels and such. I’m a new mom, but I have a flexible schedule most days! If my hubby works during the time of your pet’s care, I will have to bring the baby so he’s not left alone. I know the value in crate training, potty/ food schedules if need be, being in a comfortable space for your pet, and anything to maintain their sanctuary at home.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals! Currently have 3 loving and friendly dog along with 1 cat! They love when friends come over and they have someone to play with! We go on walks, love to be outside in our fenced in our back yard and snuggling up on the couch! My fur babies and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! I do have 3 children so being good around kids for stays with me is a must! Thank you! I am currently a full time stay at home mom, so I will be home with your pets all day long! We like to spend a lot of the day out in the fenced in backyard, and getting cozy on the couch afterwards for a nap! We have a monthly bark box subscription, so we have plenty of toys to play with! I have a big fenced in yard, and sweet dogs, eager to meet some new friends to play with! We do not have crates at my home, but always welcome to stay consistent with your preference of crate training if necessary!

“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

What really stood out was her initiative — when she couldn’t reach me, she made sure Duke was still taken care of without hesitation, even going as far as getting him food. She also got Duke puppy training treats and a toy (a blue whale) that he now loves more than all his other toys — which really shows how much she paid attention to him and cared for him. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. Duke was happy, safe, and well taken care of the entire time. About: I have 6+ years in experience with dogs/cats. I have watched puppies up to elderly dogs that need some more care. Here to be your best friend’s, best friend while you’re away. I am a 24 year old full time college student. I currently living on my own. My schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to work early mornings/ late nights. I have always had a passion for taking care of people and animals. My partner is a veterinarian technician and since being with them, my love for animals has only grown deeper. My dream one day is to have a shelter or a safe haven for dogs/ cats who don’t have homes yet. I have experience with special schedules for feeding or sleeping. I also am very familiar with meditation schedules and certain care needs. Anything the owner needs to the dog/cat, I would love to do. Walks and playtime as well, I know getting energy out can be a very important thing!
