About: I've had dogs since I was 6 — growing up with a Doberman, a boxer, then Labs. My last lab, Niner, was a rescue we brought home at 4 and cared for until he was 11. He had neurological issues, and I even made him custom shoes to help him walk. That kind of hands-on, patient care is second nature to me. Now I have Leo and Loki, my two 5-year-old dogs, and I understand the specific needs of large breeds — energy, exercise, and attention to health. That said, big or small, every dog gets the same level of care and attention. Your dog won't just be watched, they'll be truly cared for, the way I've cared for my own for over 30 years. I work from home in a computer-based 8-to-5 job, so I'm around all day — which means your dog isn't just squeezed into a quick before-and-after-work window, but gets company and check-ins throughout the day too. I walk my own two dogs twice daily, morning and evening, so pet care is already part of my daily rhythm. Weekdays offer steady, built-in availability, and weekends open up even more for longer walks and playtime. Your dog will have a large fenced yard to romp around in, plus my two friendly, well-socialized dogs, Leo and Loki, to keep them company. For rainy/snow days I have a large empty basement to play in and run around in. Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, and check-ins — not just a quick visit in and out. “Estefania was wonderful with Apple! This is the first time I used Rover.com and I am a 1000% satisfied client. Even though it was just a day care while I worked extended hours and needed to get some house cleaning done, I got lots of pics and videos, and Apple was very happy in the pics. Apple is a senior pup with partial blindness and diabetic(<2 years) so I wasn't sure how she would respond to a new environment. This is the first time I sent Apple to day camp in 4 years due to the pandemic and her health ailments, but as soon as I pulled into the driveway and saw the baby gate on the front porch to provide extra security, I felt very comfortable. Apple can have separation anxiety from Mom (me) at times so I knew she couldn't get past the front porch if she tried to run out. Estefania welcomed us into her home, and it's an extremely clean and safe residence for pups. Apple had so much fun! She worked up a good appetite and ate a full meal once she came back home. Because she's diabetic, she has a set feeding schedule to accommodate her insulin shots. I woke up for work this morning and heard Apple snoring and she had "Bed Head" hair. It was a great day camp visit and we're looking forward to coming back!! Thanks so much for taking care of Ms. Apple for the day :)”

About: I welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog—or pair of dogs—gets plenty of individual attention in a relaxed home environment, with a fenced yard and my friendly Bichon, Apple, for company. I've been a dog owner for 16 years, including two Shih Tzus who lived to 16 and 14, so I'm also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. Apple is extremely dog-friendly and enjoys dogs of many sizes, especially those around her size or somewhat larger. I want your dog to feel at home here. I'm happy to follow your normal feeding, sleeping and medication routines, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. I also send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you're away. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar. When I’m home, guest dogs are welcome to roam the house and fenced yard. If I need to be away briefly, I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog is accustomed to. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs if your dog is accustomed to using one, although I also have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I’m happy to work with each owner to maintain their dog's normal overnight routine.
