About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

About: I have grown up with small dogs and large dogs. Between Shih Tzus, Aussies, labs, huskies and more, I have been around them all. I currently have four Aussies in our family home that I care for everyday. They are very energetic dogs so I am always playing with them outside or taking them on walks. As well, I have volunteered at many animal shelters and currently volunteer at my college animals shelter. It has given me lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, needs, energy levels, and comfort levels. As well as time spent socializing with the cats! As a college student who mostly babysits, I am very flexible with my weeks. I have a lot of random availability and free time during the day. As well, if I do work, it is usually during the day so I can stay with your animals over night. I am open to any options of care. With fenced in homes, I am always going to let your fur baby run around and play with them. Though, I love to walk and I know they do too. Walks will always happen even if play happens first!

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... I have lots of experience working with shy and reactive dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments because I can handle them well!
