About: I grew up taking care of and loving dogs and cats alike. I have always been passionate about my love for furry friends. I’ve spent time in the past volunteering at an animal shelter as well as cat/dog sitting for family members for extended periods of time. I adopted my very own beloved cat in 2020. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old, my family used to rescue strays and my grandmother used to breed Pomeranians. I myself have shown dogs in 4-H as well, in both showmanship and obedience classes! I also have special need doggo right now and understand how to distribute oral medications correctly. I understand how hard it is to trust your furry loved ones to someone who you don’t know, and I promise to always provide a gentle and loving environment for them no matter the case! I am a college student at the moment so I will not be able to be with your furry loved one full time! However my class schedule is flexible enough that I will be sure that your pet is well taken care of! I have most evenings absolutely free as well as weekends meaning I can be with your pet full time during that time! My own dog gets about two walks a day! He receives medication as well as special stimulation treats during the day, along with a weekly spa day, he is one pampered pooch!! My cat gets wet food every morning and dry food every evening, he is long haired so this furry kitty also gets groomed very regularly. Both of my pets also get night time treats just for being adorable.

About: I’ve taken care of 4 dogs at one time while babysitting 2 twins, I’ve catsit for 4 cats as well. I grew up with dogs and own 3 cats now that I live on my own! Pet care fits in my daily routine because I own 3 cats. Growing up, I had a dog and my family still has a dog that I watch when they go on vacations. I have professionally dogs at for 4 dogs that needed daily attention/food/bathroom breaks. In the clients home, I will care for the animals the same way that they do. As long as there is a routine, it will not get switched. I understand the psychological needs of a dog and when owners leave, new people are in the home, it can cause stress to the animal. Having the same routine can eliminate stress.

I was fortunate enough to help take care of them from infancy, and then taking on a lot of responsibilities in their old age as I got older. Accumulating skills to take care of cats at any age. Being present while my cats aged and experienced various health issues, I learned many skills that I can apply in this new venture of becoming an animal sitter. I able to give medicine in pill or shot form. I am able to prepare speciality meals for an animals specific needs. I am also capable of performing basic cat chores. My Family's Pets: Black Lab Mix and Cat (Feeding, Grooming, Handling) I am an individual who likes to spend time with animals whenever I can. My grandmother lives very close to me, so I often go over to help her with her animals. She has a black lab mix and an energy filled boy cat. I frequently take her dog for walks and bathroom breaks, as well as feeding them both when needed. When my grandmother first got her lab, I was the main person training her and teaching her commands at a basic level. Being a patient individual, I am able to spend time with animals teaching them the basic behavioral traits. My Neighbor's Pets: Long Haired Labrador (Feeding, Handling) For the past few months, I have been taking care of my neighbor's 85 pound long-haired Labrador. This requires me to go over and take him out, feed him, and play with him. I also spend my time teaching him various commands he needs help with. This experience has technically been my first hired sitter job and I am looking for more as I love spending time with animals and giving them the love their owners do. I am currently in a Master's Program in the city. I have classes Mon-Wed. The rest of the week I am available at all hours. I love all pets like they are my own.
