About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

About: I have 6+ years in experience with dogs/cats. I have watched puppies up to elderly dogs that need some more care. Here to be your best friend’s, best friend while you’re away. I am a 24 year old full time college student. I currently living on my own. My schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to work early mornings/ late nights. I have always had a passion for taking care of people and animals. My partner is a veterinarian technician and since being with them, my love for animals has only grown deeper. My dream one day is to have a shelter or a safe haven for dogs/ cats who don’t have homes yet. I have experience with special schedules for feeding or sleeping. I also am very familiar with meditation schedules and certain care needs. Anything the owner needs to the dog/cat, I would love to do. Walks and playtime as well, I know getting energy out can be a very important thing!

About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats every since I was 5 years old so I guess you could say I’m experienced!! I just received my graduate degree & now have plenty of time to provide exceptional care & love for your pups! 🐶 I’m available any day of the week for boarding, I work part time, have weekends off & have a very flexible schedule! I’m looking forward to providing exceptional care to your animal while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard and love to go for plenty of walks! Lots of space for your dog to explore in the house and backyard!

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... About: I’ve worked in animal hospitals, training, boarding, & grooming. I currently own five geckos, two dogs, and one cat. Animal care is apart of my everyday routine! I trained my current dogs using positive reinforcement, which I am willing to enact on your pets as well if requested, and one of my dogs needs two medications every day, so I am more than willing to care for pets that require a little extra love. I am currently a dog groomer so I get to love and care for cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, & sizes for most of the week! On my free time, I have to do husbandry for five geckos, then care for my two dogs. I wish I could say my cat requires more work but all he does is lay around, so that makes my job easy! I will ask you for explicit directions and various questions to ensure the best & correct care for your animal. I won’t do anything you haven’t laid out for me except give them lots of love and attention!
