About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... I have lots of experience working with shy and reactive dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments because I can handle them well! About: I have grown up with small dogs and large dogs. Between Shih Tzus, Aussies, labs, huskies and more, I have been around them all. I currently have four Aussies in our family home that I care for everyday. They are very energetic dogs so I am always playing with them outside or taking them on walks. As well, I have volunteered at many animal shelters and currently volunteer at my college animals shelter. It has given me lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, needs, energy levels, and comfort levels. As well as time spent socializing with the cats! As a college student who mostly babysits, I am very flexible with my weeks. I have a lot of random availability and free time during the day. As well, if I do work, it is usually during the day so I can stay with your animals over night. I am open to any options of care. With fenced in homes, I am always going to let your fur baby run around and play with them. Though, I love to walk and I know they do too. Walks will always happen even if play happens first!

I always follow your instructions whether that be taking your dog out on a long lead, or constant watching in your fenced in yard. I make sure they get fed on time, potty breaks if they need them a certain time apart, ie every hour, etc.
