I work from home Monday through Thursday, which allows me to be present throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I occasionally have an in-person meeting, but I’m typically only away for an hour or two at most. I work in person Friday evenings and Saturdays, so my availability is primarily Sunday through Friday afternoon. I’ve sat chickens and guinea pigs too and have experience with horses- brushing them, cleaning their hooves , feeding them etc.. I’ve never sat horses but I’d love to. I learned how to care for them when I was a teenager; a neighbor gave us kids free riding lessons in exchange for chores around the farm which included caring for the horses. I am a fully remote college student. I’m easily able to bring my schoolwork with me on my laptop to sit your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable and safe. I’m available to give meals, administer medication and walk your dog(s), have playtime etc.. on your chosen schedule. Feeding, walking, medication schedule as per owner instructions. Plenty of play and snuggle time. I can also bathe, dry and brush dogs. I can brush cats.

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, lizards (and even hedgehogs for a couple years!) since I was 10 years old. I love all pets and am happy to go out and play or sit and relax, all depending on the pet’s needs. I have administered medication to senior cats, middle-aged to senior dogs, and lizards. I do not mind helping to clean your house if there are any accidents or messes made while I am there! I am looking for a summer job as I have a couple smaller, less frequent opportunities throughout the summer. I am going to do my masters at NIU in the fall, so I will be in the area for a while! I would love to get out and do lots of walks to enjoy the summer weather. I have two cats at home that get played with daily and enjoy relaxing with me at the end of the day. Because my cats will eat anything and everything, I am very aware of what is left out in my house as well as other spaces. I am happy to clean up any messes or accidents made while I am at your home and make sure everything is the same or better than you left it for an overnight stay. I have pet sit for many friends and family and have had no complaints! I will make sure to take pictures of your pet so you know they are happy and safe, it’s what I would want from anyone who takes care of my cats!
