“This is our first time using Erika. We are 100% pleased and happy with every aspect of the job. I do have to state that I have a very very difficult job. We have seven cats with seven different needs and several different personalities. Erica did everything. I asked her to do. She is personable and kind. She is very very detailed with her pictures and her updates. She will even update if she’s going to be a little earlier or later than usual. We had to do some tweaking at the beginning of the job which she did not mind one bit. She even did things. I didn’t ask her to do like change certain water, fountains, and retrieve packages. I knew she would, though I really really love the updates. I loved knowing that my cats were very happy with her, taking care of them, which the pictures indicated. I already have her booked for a future reservation. Super happy I found such a gem!”

About: I have grown up with small dogs and large dogs. Between Shih Tzus, Aussies, labs, huskies and more, I have been around them all. I currently have four Aussies in our family home that I care for everyday. They are very energetic dogs so I am always playing with them outside or taking them on walks. As well, I have volunteered at many animal shelters and currently volunteer at my college animals shelter. It has given me lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, needs, energy levels, and comfort levels. As well as time spent socializing with the cats! As a college student who mostly babysits, I am very flexible with my weeks. I have a lot of random availability and free time during the day. As well, if I do work, it is usually during the day so I can stay with your animals over night. I am open to any options of care. With fenced in homes, I am always going to let your fur baby run around and play with them. Though, I love to walk and I know they do too. Walks will always happen even if play happens first!

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... I have lots of experience working with shy and reactive dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments because I can handle them well! I know how important your pets are so I am well prepared for anything!

About: Hi all, my name is Brenna and I have been caring for dogs for essentially my whole life! I have been house sitting, dog walking, and doing drop in visits for years and I hope to continue that over the summer. I enjoy dogs because they can only silently judge you, they will always accept you, and they never fail to make you feel loved. It is for these reasons, and so many more, that I want to make sure they feel the love back! Growing up I have always had a big dog in my home and I’ve cared for them through their old age, so I have experience with puppies, teens and senior dogs 🥰 I have taken care of one dog at a time up to three, big, dogs at a time, and I enjoy both situations equally. I am a teacher so I have a lot of free time during the week this summer and I would love to fill that up with some furry-friends! I am a teacher who is currently out for the summer and looking for ways to fill my day and make extra cash doing something else I love!
