I’m semi-retired and work from home, which means your dog gets consistent attention, companionship, and a calm environment throughout the day. I’m also a proud mom to a sweet, social 10-year-old chocolate Lab who absolutely loves having other pups around. She’s gentle, well-mannered, and enjoys making new friends. At my home, pups can enjoy my attached outdoor lead, perfect for safe movement, fresh air, and easy potty breaks. More importantly, I’m very active and adaptable — whether your dog prefers short neighborhood strolls or big outdoor explorations, I’m happy to make it happen. If your pup needs a lift, I even have a backpack carrier for comfortable, assisted adventures. Inside, your dog will find plenty of comfortable spots to relax, including multiple cozy dog beds (and yes, the human bed is an option for snuggly sleepers). I provide a variety of toys and enrichment activities, along with lots and lots of love, attention, and reassurance. Whether you need boarding, drop-ins, walks, or help at your place, your pup will feel safe, stimulated, and cared for as if they were my own. I am semi-retired working from home with flexibilty to meet many schedules; while I prefer a few days notice, I can adjust as needed. Just let me know! Creating safety and trust in the home begins with consistency, calm energy, and clear communication. Pets feel most secure when their environment is predictable, welcoming, and free from stressors, and I make it a priority to mirror the routines they know best. I work closely with pet owners to follow the schedules, habits, and structure that make their puppers feel comfortable—whether that means specific feeding times, preferred walk rhythms, or familiar bedtime routines. A favorite toy, bed, or treat? No problem. I’m happy to incorporate anything that helps your pup feel at home. A safe environment also includes providing a designated resting area, maintaining a peaceful atmosphere, and using gentle, positive reinforcement to build confidence. With patience, attentiveness, and respect for each dog’s individual needs, I create a space where pets feel protected, understood, and truly cared for.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. I have had my own pets as well as taking care of pets for family and friends over the years. We have a dog, and it’s very important for us to have a safe and trusting home for her to stay in while we are out of town. We want to be able to provide that for others. We both work from home full-time, so we are here all day. Your pup will be able to go outside as often as they want. We can accommodate special care or instructions as you need. We have one dog in the home. She is very friendly and loves other dogs. We only board for one family at a time, but if you have multiple dogs, we are happy to take them. We have a two-story house with a basement. Ample space to accommodate your pup(s). We also have built-in gates throughout the house if they need their own space. We have a very large fenced in yard for them to play in. We are also very near many Dog parks and nature parks where we can take long walks if desired. Pets are welcome on any furniture and in the beds, so they can be as comfortable as they like. We have a very pet friendly home. Let us know how we can make their stay more comfortable.

I am home most of the day. I walk our dogs daily, ensure all of their needs are met, and play with them often. I would love to care for your furry family member as well. As a Type-A personality and a mother of 3 humans and 3 dogs, I am very organized, reliable, detail-oriented, caring, and trustworthy. I work from home part-time in the photography industry and would love to help you add to the adorable photos of your pet while they are in my care, if you would like! I have a Masters Degree in Higher Education and a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship, both at Illinois State University. I did my business plan on a doggy day care and when I was a kid I wanted to be a vet, so as you can see...caring for animals has been in my blood from a young age! Several of my animals have had special needs or are prone to injury, so I have LOTS of experience in that regard. My vet can vouch for the fact that I would make a great vet tech. Blood and other bodily fluids do not phase me and I am cool as a cucumber under pressure (I've dealt with two dogs with broken legs, two dog strokes, cancer, many a laceration, a diabetic cat, and a dog with no eyes.) I also have fostered several puppies and love their puppy breath! Happy to help care for the youngest of your pets as well. I work from home part-time during typical business hours and cart my kids to and from their activities. My spare time is spent caring for your furry friends! Whether I am coming into your home or your pets are coming into mine, your pets and property will be treated with the utmost care and consideration. I will provide the excellent service I expect for pet sitters for my own family dogs and nothing less. Safety and security are also top of mind and, with my high attention to detail, nothing will be missed. Pets in my home will be treated like family. We have 2 retired racing greyhounds who are loving, calm, and kind, as well as a foster-fail super mutt who loves to play and keep our house safe from chipmunks and mail carriers. I have three kids (12, 10, and 7) who all have extensive experience with dogs and who will help me respectfully love on your pet while you are away. We have a LARGE fenced in yard with lots of little critters to sniff after and plenty of room to run. We live in a pet-friendly cul-du-sac with several dogs and chickens next door.

I have experiences volunteering at Anderson animals shelter for a couple of years working with dogs and cats in all conditions until the pandemic happened. My parents wouldn’t let me have my own dog until I went to college. But that didn’t stop me from taking care of dogs that weren’t mine. I love animals so much, so I would always offer to take care my grandma’s dog and neighbors’ dogs as well. When I was old enough to volunteer at the animal shelter, I enjoyed spending time with animals and helping them to find a forever home. I’m currently a graduate student at UIUC back home for breaks. Therefore, I have plenty of time to play and take care of your fur baby. I do prefer a Meet-N-Greets with all new guests, best for pup and owner for a good fit. No aggressive or untrained dogs please. This is our home. Please use Heart Worm, Flea and Tick preventive to protect your dog since we spend time outdoors in grass and a small wooded area. My pup(Max) is up to date with all vaccinations, Heart Worm, Flea and Tick preventative. Please watch for symptoms, coughing, not eating, not acting normal, fever (100-103 normal) and mucus from nose. I would appreciate all guests have their Dog Flu Vaccine, please consult with your Dr. Takes 5 weeks to be good effective. My schedule is really flexible, Please let me know what time might work best for you and your furry family member. We can workout the best time for everyone. I live in an animal friendly neighborhood. My house is ranch-style house with a fenced in yard and a sun room with easy access to my backyard. I also have a friendly dog to keep your dog’s company. If your dog don’t get alone with other dogs, my house is big enough to separate them (I only host two family at a time). I will take care of each dog according to their situation and condition, such as eating time and other living habits. I will keep the owner updated with video, pictures and/or phone.
