We are always worried about others giving our cat meds, but she really knows what she’s doing and he had no issues when we came home. We received detailed reports on how they were doing as well as photos. She came to our home 2x per day and she was always on time which is crucial with an animal on seizure medication. When we came home everything looked as if we never left and both of our cats had plenty of water, were fed, and satisfied. We will definitely have her watch our pets again in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of animals from a young age of 15. I grew up with a German shepherd which started my love for dogs. I use to volunteer at an animal shelter in Iowa when I was going to college. I would walk every single dog because it would break my heart to see them stuck in such a small space. I also rescued around 20 dogs, 50 cats, and one monkey when I was living overseas. I am very empathetic towards animals especially because they are such innocent beings. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. Please ask me what snacks you can get me for when I stay in your home. I appreciate this greatly as it helps to limit the need to leave your property and animals unattended. I will bring in any packages left outside. Please set your thermostat to 75-76 degrees. I can handle a majority of last minute changes but expect them to occur with added fees. I do not want anyone on your property while I am there. Post pone all maintenance until after I leave and please do not mention my stay to anyone. Staying in unfamiliar spaces can make it challenging for me to sleep at night so I need grace if I do not follow your exact expectations. About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. I enjoy the bond and training from the start. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom looking to start working again and thought this would be a great fit due to my passion with animals. I have a flexible schedule and am available to board most days. Dogs will be given love and attention, play, walks, really whatever they are into or owner needs. My own crew loves to swim in our pool, play frisbee or fetch the chuck-it. I have 3 custom built in crates that are massively oversized. I can keep dogs separate from my own or integrate. I am home most of the day except during quick sports commitments or random errands. Our yard is three aces in an equestrian neighborhood. “Stephanie was amazing! She came over for a meet and greet on short notice and stayed for an hour to answer all of my questions, and meet my pup. She came over every day to walk her while I was away and my family was working. She even checked to make sure my dog was given her medicine and gave it to her if needed. I got messages/updates and pictures every day which really put me at ease. Not only did she take excellent care of my baby, but she also checked in on me to see how my trip was, which was really nice of her. Stephanie really went above and beyond just walking Charlie, she took the time to make sure she had everything she needed and gave her plenty of love. I will absolutely use her in the future!!”

About: I'm available through call and text almost all work day. I've had Dobermans for 14 years and pitbull mixes for 10. I know how to take care of puppies as well as older dogs, big or small. I currently work with dogs and have been doing so for about 10 years. I know how to act upon a medical emergency. I have had many experiences with slightly aggressive dogs and know how to take the appropriate precautionary methods if needed. I always act in a calm manner, but take initiative when needed. I am fun, friendly and know how to have a good time! Currently work full-time (7-3:30 job) and I am available Monday through Friday, but with constraints. I can take care of your pets early morning before my job around 6am but will be gone for about 10 hours (max) until I get off, I am available to stay overnight as well during weekdays. For full-time pet service I am available Friday evenings through Sunday nights, whatever time you may need me I will accommodate you and your pets schedule/needs. If you are outside of my radius, you may be expected to be charged more per visit. Whatever your pet(s) are comfortable with I will accommodate. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is.. i truly love all dogs and treat them as if they were my own babies. I am attentive to their needs and adapt to their routines. I work full time. 4am -12pm. I am very active and love to go for long walks each day. My girlfriend also does rover and has a star sitter status and is home each day to keep the dogs company and care for them as well Pets are allowed on furniture and in the bed.. or where ever they are most comfortable. I have dog gates and large dog crates if need be.

“This was our first rover experience- our two dogs stayed with Maria and her family for about 4 days.Maria was happy to do a meet and greet before hand a couple months prior. The day we were dropping the dogs off my female who hasn’t been spayed yet started her menstrual cycle, I was so worried we were going to have to cancel our flights because I totally wouldn’t blame Maria if they didn’t want to keep her while she was wearing a diaper. But Maria was happy to still take both pups for the weekend and I am so thankful. My lab is a high energy gal and did great. We got pictures and updates multiple times a day of their walks and playing in the back yard. They seem happy and content after their stay with Maria and I cannot recommend her more. We have another stay booked with her already. So thankful to find someone to leave my pups with who we trust and can feel at ease leaving them with.”
