“There are not enough kind things I can say about Jackie, she took incredible care of my fur baby. My mom unexpectedly passed away and I needed to leave town on very short notice for a week. I had never used Rover before or boarded her for more than one night in the 10 years I’ve had her. I had extreme anxiety about leaving her with someone else, especially during such a vulnerable time. Jackie took the best care of her, and when I say best, I truly mean the best! Nala also has anxiety when away from me and in only one day being away I was getting pictures of her with a huge smile on her face! Jackie and her family treated Nala like she was apart of their family, and gave her lots of cuddle time too 🥰. They knew she was anxious too and did everything they could to make her comfortable. Jackie constantly stayed in contact with me with messages on how she was doing and lots of photos and videos. In 10 years, Jackie was the first person I trusted with my baby and I’m so happy I did. It allowed me to take the time I needed and gave me the piece of mind knowing my baby was being cared for as best as possible. I feel so grateful to have found her, I never would have been able to get out of town if I hadn’t. I couldn’t recommend her more if you’re looking for someone who takes just as good of care of your fur baby as you do ❤️.”

About: I've taken care of dogs of many breeds ever since I was a little girl. I took care of feeding, exercising, and bathing our dogs for my family. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. I currently work as a kennel tech, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. However, I can bring your pet to work with me after they are reviewed by my boss to make sure they pass their rabies and fecal tests. I’m available Saturday mornings until 1 PM and am free all day on Sundays! I will update this note on a month-to-month basis depending on my schedule. If I were in your home, I would let your pet warm up to me first. Then, I would make sure they have clean water and food, follow any instructions you have for me, and give them lots of cuddles and love to keep them happy.

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. About: We currently foster a variety of different dogs through out the year. We are used to quirky behaviors, shy pups, and just getting dogs to become comfortable with us and our home. We are very adjustable to different dog personalities and requirements, and will be flexible with your needs, and how the dog reacts to us in our home or yours. We have owned many pets in our lifetime, including dogs (as well as fostering). We are well versed in activity, playtime, and training. We love to play fun activities with our dogs such as obstacles, finding treats, water playtime and more! *We will never have a foster dog at the same time we are dog sitting in our home. I work part time from home, and my husband works from home as well. A dog staying in our care will have many walks through out the day, and will be able to go outside every few hours. We have very flexible schedules and outside of a random weekday activity, your pet will be our primary responsibility. In our home, we will tailor set up and activity based on the pet's needs. We are open to using crates, beds, free roaming based on what the pet is used to and comfortable with. I stick to routines and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM–1:30 PM, so I’m generally available for pet care outside of those hours. About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. About: I'm available through call and text almost all work day. I've had Dobermans for 14 years and pitbull mixes for 10. I know how to take care of puppies as well as older dogs, big or small. I currently work with dogs and have been doing so for about 10 years. I know how to act upon a medical emergency. I can take care of your pets early morning before my job around 6am but will be gone for about 10 hours (max) until I get off, I am available to stay overnight as well during weekdays. For full-time pet service I am available Friday evenings through Sunday nights, whatever time you may need me I will accommodate you and your pets schedule/needs. If you are outside of my radius, you may be expected to be charged more per visit. Whatever your pet(s) are comfortable with I will accommodate. I have experience with crate training and free roam of the house, I can adapt to your pets everyday needs/schedule.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is.. i truly love all dogs and treat them as if they were my own babies. I am attentive to their needs and adapt to their routines. I work full time. 4am -12pm. I am very active and love to go for long walks each day. My girlfriend also does rover and has a star sitter status and is home each day to keep the dogs company and care for them as well Pets are allowed on furniture and in the bed.. or where ever they are most comfortable. I have dog gates and large dog crates if need be.

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. About: I have had pets all of my life, both cats and dogs. I have worked at an animal shelter for three years where I took dogs out for daily walks, gave them enrichment and lots of love and patience. I would love to get to know your dog and find out how to give them the best days possible! I am also very prepared to clean any messes that may occur and make sure that your dog remains safe while we play. I am a part-time college student so I have a few assignments to take care of weekly. I have no other job at this time so school is my only commitment this summer. I always check to ensure that any harmful materials anywhere the animals can reach them.
