There’s nothing like a good break with furry friends that helps the day go by. Currently I have a flexible scheduled and enjoy the opportunity. I grew up on a farm, caring for dogs, cats, goats, sheep, and chickens, so reading animal behavior, staying calm under pressure and knowing when somethings off comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve trained my own dogs, worked with rescue animals, and volunteered with KARE, where I help rehabilitate, both wild and domestic animals. That experience has taught me how to handle pets of all temperament and backgrounds, including those who were shy, anxious, or still learning the ropes. I personally cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas, sugar, gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, fish, turtles, parrots, and a wide variety of reptiles, so chances are, I’ve worked with a pet like yours before! I bring patience and consistency to every interaction, whether it’s a quick drop in or a longer house sit. What sets me apart is that I don’t just love animals, I understand them. Your pet isn’t just a booking to me, they’re a living creature who deserves calm, attentive care from someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing. i’m generally available weekday mornings, weekday evenings, and weekends. My schedule varies week to week, so I keep my calendar updated in real time. If you don’t see any availability that works, feel free to reach out as my schedule sometimes opens up with short notice! when I’m in your home, my priority is keeping your pet safe and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow your KARE instructions closely, do a quick safety check on arrival, and reach out immediately if anything seems off. You’ll get photo updates every visit so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Angela watched our 3 dachshunds for 3 days over Thanksgiving. During the meet and greet, all 3 of our girls took to her right away. Angela asked questions and made sure she understood the girls’ routine and needs. Since she was sitting on Thanksgiving, she would be away for longer than normal to spend time with her family - not an issue, but she made sure to address this with us ahead of time, which was appreciated! She arrived and departed on schedule as promised. She provided pictures and detailed updates while we were away. She even helped us with some logistics in Rover - when the arrival and departure times changed, she updated them for us! It’s extremely important to us that we have someone we can trust and rely on to watch our girls and give access to our home while we are away, and Angela fits the bill! We will be using her again.”

About: I’ve grown up always around animals. Whether they were mine, my grandparents, or a friends. I have a lot of experience taking care of cats and dogs emotionally and physically. I also volunteered to a few animal shelters to learn how to properly take care of both cats and dogs. I normally work mornings until around 2-4 pm. So I’m available the rest of the day to take care of your pets. I’m on a rotating shift so essentially I’m available everyday all day for anyone in need for pet care. There’s also times of the month I’m available all week for anyone who plans to take a vacation out of state for a week. I’ll be available to make sure your pets can also relax until you guys come back. In both my home and the client's, I will make sure all of the pets needs are taken care of. Whether that be: entertainment, training, or food.

“We can’t say enough good things about Don!! We have a new puppy and had to leave town due to a death in the family. Don cared for our little guy like he was his own. That meant taking him out as often as needed including 3 am! I could tell he was fantastic with dogs when he came over to meet Mitty. Don sent pics and updates the whole time we were gone and he stayed late when our flight home was delayed. We came home to a happy dog (who is missing Don I’m sure) and our house was perfectly clean which is hard to do with a 12 week puppy! So thankful we found Don, would give him more stars if I could and just hope he doesn’t get too booked up in the future!”

She sent us pictures of Frito and he was so happy and relaxed. Frito is a naturally anxious dog, we adopted him through a kill shelter. This is the amazing part. She had met Frito once but had not sat for him yet - we have a future booking. We were so confident once we met Stephanie that we knew Frito would be lovingly cared for.
