About: I naturally get attached to animals, so your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll actually be cared for! I’m really patient and calm, which helps a lot with shy or anxious pets. I stick to routines and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I like having something to look forward to, and spending time with animals is honestly one of my favorite parts of it. I make sure to plan around visits and give each pet my full attention instead of rushing in and out. I keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable, following your routine and giving lots of love. I treat your home with care and make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and can't imagine a home without them! I’m new to Rover, but because I don't currently have a pet of my own, I have plenty of love, attention, and energy to give to yours. I've been a trusted dog sitter for friends and family for years, and I'm excited to meet even more through Rover! I believe pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection I'd want for my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra company while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve always found ways to get along with any animal! I don't currently hold a full-time job position, so I'm pretty flexible during the week for my schedule. I have other side jobs and am picking up shifts when I can, but I'm willing to move things around to suit what works best for you and your pet. I am able to host one dog at a time in my home for certain periods of time. I do not have any other animals living in my home, so there would be no interactions with any other dog while in my home. I also have a fenced in backyard so your dog is always in my view and very safe. The rest of my family members are also huge dog lovers, so while I would be the caretaker, your dog is able to experience all the love my home has to offer. I am sure to follow all directions as needed regarding your pet in my house or yours. I'm very detail-oriented and sometimes a perfectionist, so following instructions to ensure your dogs health and safety is something you don't have to worry about with me!

About: My passion is to work with animals for the rest of my life . I am going to school to be a veterinarian and plan on working with mixed animals . Eventually I plan on opening my own practice. I have volunteered in a vet clinic for 1 year and I have 1 year experience with pet sitting /dog walking . About: I have been taking care of my Australian shepherd since I was twelve years old. I've been grooming her, walking her, training her, and feeding her since I was a child. Throughout my life I have gotten two more dogs and many more animals that I have loved taking care of. My college classes have all been online so I have had plenty of time to be at home and spend time with my three dogs. At my home I have three dogs. Two that usually keep to themselves but one Husky that loves to play. I have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around, as well as cages to crate dogs if needed.

About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.

About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I recently just left a data entry job, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I love animals more than people so they are going to fit perfectly into my daily routine. I would spend time with your pet as much as you’d like! I love spending time with animals whether that’s playing with them, giving them pets, going on walks or just being next to them giving them company!

About: I had family pets throughout my childhood that I would help take care of. Now, I have 2 dogs of my own! they are both two years old and have a ton of energy. I have a very flexible schedule with my other job. I am mostly always available to pet sit or take your dog for a walk, unless I am traveling. About: My whole life I’ve had animals cats dogs farm animals I love them all. I’ve handled big dogs and small dogs and have sitted for friends when they leave for vacation. I currently work full time but still have time on weekends and Wednesday evenings to take care of any pet of all sizes. About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. About: I’ve had Dogs since I was little. I currently have 2 German Short Haired Pointers which is a very high energy breed dog. With that being said I’m comfortable and able to care for small to big dogs including high energy fur babies🐾 I’ve also been a Nanny for 4 years and care for toddlers so i’m ready for anything! I’m currently working part time as a nanny while attending ECC for Nursing. This allows me to have a flexible schedule to care for your pet(s)! About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I have good experience with giving oral medications and giving support to dogs with anxiety or anxiousness. Great with walking dogs with all different sizes and energy levels. I also have great knowledge when it comes to cleaning care for puppies or seniors rather that be in cages or any where within the house. I support rescue services for pets as I have adopted a dog from Tails myself. Lastly I am great at managing multiple dogs at once as I currently have three dogs with my family. I am currently take a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) class as I am looking to become a nurse in my future. I starting college this year so I’m looking to find a job during this summer. With having CNA class I am available most weekdays and for sure weekends. I have class Tuesdays and Wednesdays being available after 12:30 and have Friday Clinicals at a Nursing home in DeKalb leaving that day majority full. While in my own home or a clients home I always make sure the pet feels like their in a comfortable and safe environment with surroundings and with me. A pets health mentally and physically is really important to me as I make sure they get the right exercise, rest, attention and love they of course deserve. Keeping them with their daily routines and schedule is also very necessary to me when it comes to feedings and water, play inside and outside, rest and walks which are my favorite. Keeping my clients home clean and protected is also something very important to me as it helps the dog be familiar in their safe and comfortable space and also help the owner gain trust and rely on me as much as possible! Updates are a really big thing I offer service to, I am a really great communicator and responsible person so letting them know how their pet is doing and being cared for is very critical.

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent!
