About: Hi, I'm Rowan! I provide specialized pet care for cats and dogs based on their unique needs! I offer boarding, house sitting, drop in visits, daycare, and dog walking. My experience: I have several years of professional experience working at luxury dog daycare and boarding facilities. In these roles, I provided around the clock animal care, administered medications, provided special services for senior and disabled dogs, and more. I've also volunteered hundreds of hours as an animal care attendant and dog walker at animal shelters and non-profits like Tails. In addition to this, I have a lifetime of personal experience caring for cats and dogs for friends, colleagues, and neighbors! About me: I'm currently finishing my final semester (virtually) as a graduate student in cultural anthropology. During my BA program in environmental studies, I took multiple classes on animal behavior and animal ethics, so caring for animals is a long term passion of mine! Outside of that, I love painting, doing ceramics, and reading sci-fi novels. :) PLEASE NOTE: I only recieve messages via Rover. I do not recieve text messages. Thank you! I'm currently a graduate student in cultural anthropology finishing my final semester virtually. My schedule is extremely flexible and I'm able to respond quickly to whatever you or your pet need! For boarding: I live in a spacious apartment next to a big park where your pup can get plenty of outside time. I'm happy to play, cuddle, give space, go for walks, or provide anything else your pet needs. Because I live in an apartment, quiet dogs are preferred. For House sitting: When in your home, I'll follow all your instructions exactly and provide prompt communication. I'm also happy to send regular updates with pictures of your pet. :)

I occasionally have an in-person meeting, but I’m typically only away for an hour or two at most. I work in person Friday evenings and Saturdays, so my availability is primarily Sunday through Friday afternoon. I've spent many years caring for my own pets as well as helping friends, family, and neighbors with theirs. Through those experiences, I've learned how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for animals. I'm comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and energy levels, and I enjoy getting to know each one individually so I can provide care that matches their unique personality. I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I have availability during Sundays, weekdays and most evenings, giving me the flexibility to accommodate a variety of schedules. I never want a pet to feel rushed or overlooked, so I make sure every visit includes plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. My goal is simple: to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can leave home knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in loving hands. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent! Every pet owner has a different perspective on how to care for their pets. Some require a special routine for dinnertime or bedtime, while others require basic care with lots of love. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me by the owner…and I promise not to judge 😊

About: I have owned and raised 6 dogs in my lifetime and a very experienced pet owner. I have a ton of experience with large breeds. I love all animals and currently own a 2 year Australian shepherd, 20 chickens, and 2 cats. I provide a safe and loving home for dogs. Your dog will will receive a great deal of attention and affection and love. I am a stay-at-home mom so your pet wil receive lots of love and attention all day. I am home most of the day except during quick sports commitments or random errands. Our yard is three aces in an equestrian neighborhood. There are lots of horses, goats, chickens, and other animals around. Your pet will be accommodated for in our home as well as within a 1 acre fenced in horse pasture.

They’ll have constant supervision, companionship, and plenty of love throughout the day. I have a secured fenced yard for safe outdoor play and a dog-friendly pool that’s available for supervised swim time (if your pup enjoys water). I'm a dedicated dog lover who works from home, which means your furry friend will never be left alone. Whether it's a day of play or an overnight stay, your dog's happiness and safety are my top priorities. My home is a haven for dogs, featuring a spacious fenced yard where they can run and play freely. I also have a dog-friendly pool that's perfect for a supervised splash or a cool dip on a hot day

About: I’ve had cats my entire life, I’ve also had several rodents, mice and rats, and I’ve looked after friends dogs. I have fostered many cats and I’m also very experienced with giving animals medicine. I work remote and will have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby! I just graduated college, I’m looking for an additional source of income to add to my remote job. I’m pretty open week days and may be able to make different times work on Fridays and Sundays. My schedule can be flexible, so feel free to reach out 🙂 I will follow all of the owners instructions, send pictures and text message updates. I can have cats and cat friendly dogs spend the night. I have two cats but they will be kept seperately. Let me know if you have any special requests :)

I reached out pretty last minute with a request that wasn’t exactly simple—she had to pick Ghost up from his training facility (not from me) and coordinate all of that seamlessly. On top of that, she even helped me sort out a small payment detail on Rover to make sure everything reflected correctly, which she absolutely didn’t have to do. She was super responsive, easy to work with, and just handled everything without friction. And the best part—Ghost lit up the second he saw her again after a few months, which tells you everything you need to know. Somehow she manages all of this while caring for multiple dogs at once and raising a young family, which honestly makes it even more impressive. Highly recommend giving Jackie a shot.”
