About: Hi, I'm Rowan! I provide specialized pet care for cats and dogs based on their unique needs! I offer boarding, house sitting, drop in visits, daycare, and dog walking. Does your pet need a lot of attention? Cuddles? Quiet time? Medication or monitoring? Whether your pet is energetic, elderly, or has special needs, I'm trained and equipped to make sure they get exactly what they need. My experience: I have several years of professional experience working at luxury dog daycare and boarding facilities. In these roles, I provided around the clock animal care, administered medications, provided special services for senior and disabled dogs, and more. I've also volunteered hundreds of hours as an animal care attendant and dog walker at animal shelters and non-profits like Tails. In addition to this, I have a lifetime of personal experience caring for cats and dogs for friends, colleagues, and neighbors! About me: I'm currently finishing my final semester (virtually) as a graduate student in cultural anthropology. During my BA program in environmental studies, I took multiple classes on animal behavior and animal ethics, so caring for animals is a long term passion of mine! Outside of that, I love painting, doing ceramics, and reading sci-fi novels. :) PLEASE NOTE: I only recieve messages via Rover. I do not recieve text messages. Thank you! I'm currently a graduate student in cultural anthropology finishing my final semester virtually. My schedule is extremely flexible and I'm able to respond quickly to whatever you or your pet need! For boarding: I live in a spacious apartment next to a big park where your pup can get plenty of outside time. I'm happy to play, cuddle, give space, go for walks, or provide anything else your pet needs. Because I live in an apartment, quiet dogs are preferred. For House sitting: When in your home, I'll follow all your instructions exactly and provide prompt communication. I'm also happy to send regular updates with pictures of your pet. :)

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and I now have over 18 years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and give their pets the same love and attention they would. I’m patient, responsible, and passionate about making every dog feel safe and happy. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2 PM for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. Also im at full time college student I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment where animals can relax and feel safe. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide lots of attention, and make sure they’re supervised at all times. I can also crate your dog if required.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life, I’ve also had several rodents, mice and rats, and I’ve looked after friends dogs. I have fostered many cats and I’m also very experienced with giving animals medicine. I work remote and will have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby! I just graduated college, I’m looking for an additional source of income to add to my remote job. I’m pretty open week days and may be able to make different times work on Fridays and Sundays. My schedule can be flexible, so feel free to reach out 🙂 I will follow all of the owners instructions, send pictures and text message updates. I can have cats and cat friendly dogs spend the night. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent! Every pet owner has a different perspective on how to care for their pets. Some require a special routine for dinnertime or bedtime, while others require basic care with lots of love. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me by the owner…and I promise not to judge 😊

About: Available to serve your best friend with a nightly walk, drop-in or doggie day care services! My husband and I absolutely love dogs and have been around them our whole life. We currently have one dog (our baby!) and always want to ensure that he receives the best care when we are out of town or at work - we want to be sure the same is done for your fur children! We know pets are family and you can trust that your babies will be cared for with great love, compassion, and safety. We are our family and friends' right hand when it comes to pet-sitting- we have experience with dogs of all sizes and cats. We are available most weekends and I am off a few days during the week. About: I have owned and raised 6 dogs in my lifetime and a very experienced pet owner. I have a ton of experience with large breeds. I love all animals and currently own a 2 year Australian shepherd, 20 chickens, and 2 cats. I provide a safe and loving home for dogs. Your dog will will receive a great deal of attention and affection and love. I am a stay-at-home mom so your pet wil receive lots of love and attention all day. I am home most of the day except during quick sports commitments or random errands. Our yard is three aces in an equestrian neighborhood. There are lots of horses, goats, chickens, and other animals around. Your pet will be accommodated for in our home as well as within a 1 acre fenced in horse pasture.

About: I have cared for my pets since young child and have owned my own 4acre farmette for last 27yrs. I have horses, chickens, fish, and an amazing Mail-Dutchie dog. I have a work from home career allowing me flexibility to be home and have also worked for a leading pet kennel/training/boarding/grooming facility that allowed me hands on handling for many different breed, size, difficulty, and aged pets. Trustworthy and reliable and enjoy all the wonderful and beautiful personalities our pets have and embrace them all! Dogs allowed on bed for sleeping time to cuddle but not on furniture. Prefer dogs that can feel comfortable in a roomy kennel should need arise to leave my home for a couple hours as to keep all fur babies safe in their own space while unsupervised. Well mannered pups preferred, Photos and videos provided during days activities. Attentive and loving, I’ll treat your pet like my own! I have a work from home career that allows me the flexibility to be with your fur baby for all their needs and attention during their stay. I also provide crates to be sure all boarders are kept safe if need arises to leave home to ensure safety of all furry friends. I have a well trained and behaved dog that loves the company of our boarding friends. I make sure to have 5x day let out and a tie line that allows them to privacy but security during pottie breaks.
