“Lizzie was great and accommodating! She was able to do a few house visits during the holidays, which can be very hard to find. My dog also gives up on all training when it’s cold outside but she made it work and provided thorough updates. I would definitely book her again.”

“Kassandra is marvelous! She's friendly, kind, and very reliable. My dogs adore her! She's been a great help while I've been recovering from surgery; her dog walking has made Birdie and Gracie so much happier and calmer. I would use her services again in a minute!”

“Erika is wonderful with dogs. She is fully engaged and responsive to their needs. Her reports of her time with Ziggy are so much appreciated and detailed with photos! 10/10 recommend!”

“Kimberly was amazing with our crazy dog! We just moved and he was a bit anxious, but he loved her! She even offered to sew up one of the things he tore up in his kennel! She is so sweet and kept me informed on how my crazy little boy was doing while I was at work! I will definitely book her again!”

About: With over 12 years of experience, I've cared for multiple dogs, trained two, and consistently follow routines. I enjoy walking dogs and ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and well-fed. I’ve also cared for my uncle’s dogs and picked up many effective training techniques along the way. I'm reliable, patient, and passionate about giving every dog the attention and structure they need. I currently don’t have another job, so my schedule is completely open and flexible. I’m available any day, any time, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Whether it’s a last-minute request or a regular routine, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your dog’s needs. My open availability means you can always count on me. I always follow the feeding and walking schedules provided by clients to ensure each dog’s routine stays consistent and comfortable. Most clients leave a list or specific details, and I make sure to stick to them closely. In between scheduled tasks, I spend quality time playing with the dogs, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you're away.

“With our schedules constantly changing, we needed someone to check-in and walk our dog during the work week. We have a strong 60 lbs. German Shorthaired Pointer with lots of energy and Jenny has been extremely helpful, flexible, and caring toward our pet. She is very responsive, sends updates and pictures from visit. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Jenny’s dog services!”

“Stephanie was amazing! She came over for a meet and greet on short notice and stayed for an hour to answer all of my questions, and meet my pup. She came over every day to walk her while I was away and my family was working. She even checked to make sure my dog was given her medicine and gave it to her if needed. I got messages/updates and pictures every day which really put me at ease. Not only did she take excellent care of my baby, but she also checked in on me to see how my trip was, which was really nice of her. Stephanie really went above and beyond just walking Charlie, she took the time to make sure she had everything she needed and gave her plenty of love. I will absolutely use her in the future!!”

“I value Grace's help very much she has been helping me walk and feed my two chihuahuas for almost two weeks while I'm at work. She is very patient and listen to all my concerns since my pets are on the older side and can be a bit difficult with new people.”

“We (and our dog) love Jackie! She always does a fabulous job taking care of our dog while we are gone, and she makes sure he has everything he needs between her visits. She sends us great updates so we never worry about him. Thank you as always, Jackie!!”

My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

Having owned dogs my whole life i’m comfortable with any care your pet may need. For example, giving dogs medication as my own dog is very stubborn about it.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
