I’ve worked with cats across a huge range of situations, from hand-raising newborn kittens and supporting their mom through birth and recovery, to helping socialize and rehabilitate cats rescued from a hoarding situation, where I administered medications and built trust with animals who have never known consistent, gentle care I understand that cats have their own personalities, boundaries, and routines. I won’t force affection or disrupt what makes your cat comfortable. I’ll follow your lead, respect their space, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs of many breeds ever since I was a little girl. I took care of feeding, exercising, and bathing our dogs for my family. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. I currently work as a kennel tech, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. However, I can bring your pet to work with me after they are reviewed by my boss to make sure they pass their rabies and fecal tests. I’m available Saturday mornings until 1 PM and am free all day on Sundays! I will update this note on a month-to-month basis depending on my schedule. If I were in your home, I would let your pet warm up to me first. Then, I would make sure they have clean water and food, follow any instructions you have for me, and give them lots of cuddles and love to keep them happy.

About: I have been taking care of animals from a young age of 15. I grew up with a German shepherd which started my love for dogs. I use to volunteer at an animal shelter in Iowa when I was going to college. I would walk every single dog because it would break my heart to see them stuck in such a small space. I also rescued around 20 dogs, 50 cats, and one monkey when I was living overseas. I am very empathetic towards animals especially because they are such innocent beings. I also worked with different rescue groups overseas. I currently have 3 dogs I rescued from Peru South America. Their stories are pretty crazy but now they are living the dog dream. So I am very excited to work with animals! I am a stay at home mom looking to help owners with their pets. Having 3 dogs myself I know how necessary it is to have help! 1st I would like to come meet the pet first so we can create a trust. Then I would make sure they were comfortable in their home with plenty of food and water. I would just follow all the rules the owner has for me especially if there dog is on a specific diet. If it is okay with the owner also carry training treats with me for walks.

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. About: I specialize in luxury homesitting and animal caregiving. I have worked with puppies, birds, horses, turtles, dogs, fish, and cats. Please ask me what snacks you can get me for when I stay in your home. I appreciate this greatly as it helps to limit the need to leave your property and animals unattended. I will bring in any packages left outside. I can handle a majority of last minute changes but expect them to occur with added fees. I do not want anyone on your property while I am there. Post pone all maintenance until after I leave and please do not mention my stay to anyone. Staying in unfamiliar spaces can make it challenging for me to sleep at night so I need grace if I do not follow your exact expectations. I have full time availability to look after your home and animals. I have most of my experience working for families within my community and church. I will maintain requested household responsibilities, keep your animals safe and happy while you are away, and ensure your property is closely monitored to the best of my ability.

Since I’m currently not working, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. Right now, I’m not working, which means I have plenty of time and attention to give to any pet I’m caring for. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any special instructions. Because I have the time, I’m also able to give pets extra walks, playtime, or company if they get anxious being alone. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be.
