Grace was amazing handling my German Shepard, My dog is sweet but can be intimidating. He is strong and will bark at other dogs on walks so I always worry a little if people will be comfortable walking him. Grace was awesome with him and put me at ease. I’m so glad I found her to help me out and would use her again!

Kimberly was amazing with our crazy dog! We just moved and he was a bit anxious, but he loved her! She even offered to sew up one of the things he tore up in his kennel! She is so sweet and kept me informed on how my crazy little boy was doing while I was at work! I will definitely book her again!

This was our first dog walker experience for our 5 month puppy and she did such a wonderful job! As new dog parents she helped us feel reassured as we sent multiple messages regarding his day and offered to do a "meet and greet" with him so that he felt familiar and comfortable with her walking him. We appreciated the attention and care she had for him!

About: My pet sitting experience dates back to when I was 10 years old. I would take care of neighbors, friends, and family pets. Whether they were dogs or cats, big or small, I’ve done it all! Growing up I’ve had cats, but since last year I’ve been the proud fur mom to a sweet golden retriever. Prior to getting him, I worked for Wag! and would do dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m a full time nurse working 4 days a week, but I have one day off during the week to help and I’m free most weekends! If booking for boarding, my husband works from home so someone is always home with your pet. In my home, I have the sweetest Golden Retriever who likes to befriend every dog (and human!). My yard is fully fenced, and I have a large crate available as needed.

About: I've taken care of dogs of many breeds ever since I was a little girl. I took care of feeding, exercising, and bathing our dogs for my family. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. I currently work as a kennel tech, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. However, I can bring your pet to work with me after they are reviewed by my boss to make sure they pass their rabies and fecal tests. I’m available Saturday mornings until 1 PM and am free all day on Sundays! I will update this note on a month-to-month basis depending on my schedule. If I were in your home, I would let your pet warm up to me first. Then, I would make sure they have clean water and food, follow any instructions you have for me, and give them lots of cuddles and love to keep them happy.

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of friends, neighbors, and family. Outside of just my own dogs, I love dogs of all ages, temperaments, and sizes. I’m comfortable with active walks, medication routines, and adapting to each pet’s unique personality and play-style. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, or a total cuddle-bug, we will both enjoy our time together. I’m detail‑oriented, patient, and committed to making every pet feel safe and genuinely loved while you’re away. I'm currently searching for a career position, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I’m home frequently and can provide consistent attention throughout the day. I care about your dogs' healthy routines, as I know they will help mine. I offer a flexible schedule, weekend availability, and reliable communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I hope you like update photos! In my home, each dog receives lots of attention. I treat every pet like they're my own, so your pet’s routine becomes my routine. About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs, but my main pet sitting experience is from a family that has me watch their 2 dogs and 2 cats every year during my winter break anywhere from 2 weeks to a month, and I enjoy it! I’m a student, but I’m not in classes right now. I have a lot of free time right now for the summer, specifically on weekdays, and certain weekends! I’m unable to have your animals in my house but could possibly make an exception if needed. In your home, I’ll be very respectful of how you want me to care for them!

About: After growing up with pet dogs throughout my life, I became the go-to pet sitter for our neighbors/friends/family members when they headed out of town. I currently have my own gentleman giant and volunteer/foster for his rescue! There's almost nothing I haven't seen when it comes to dogs quirky behaviors, but try me! Mi casa es sus casa! I am just starting with the rover platform, so availability is open & I'm willing to discuss anything within reason. In my home pets are taken for frequent walks, and during nice weather we hang out on the patio. In other homes it would depend what you are comfortable with and what the pup is used to!

About: Ever since I was little, I’ve always been surrounded by furry friends. I value the tranquility, love, & affection that animals bring. I love every animal; big or small, energetic or calm, you name it! I will take care of your pup the same way I would my own. I am currently working part-time at Enigma 5PM-10PM (Friday & Saturday nights). I also have class midday Monday-Thursday and Tuesday nights. Other than that, I have all the time in the world for your furry friends! I will go above and beyond what is asked. It’s not only walking, feeding, and watching over your pet, but also making sure they’re apart of a schedule, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

Our pup loves Don, and we are so happy we found him. He really loves dogs! Don took her for a much needed long walk mid day when we were out of town; sent us pics, gave us peace of mind to leave her. The Rover app makes scheduling quick, and a smooth transaction.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
