“Peggy was wonderful to our little Oscar. She messaged multiple times a day as requested and sent pictures of the little guy. She also noticed him biting his paws due to allergies and alerted me right away. I was in an area with bad service and did not get the message right away so she went ahead and reached out to my vet and scheduled a time to go in because he had chewed his paw to the point where he was bleeding. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. She even followed up asking about him days later once we picked him up. You can just tell that Peggy is an animal lover. Payton is on a transdermal Methimazole for his antithyroidism. It is applied into his earflap (alternating) every 12 hours and in conjunction with his wet food. Heather was meticulous about keeping to Payton's schedule. We were away for 4 days, the first 4 days in 17 months and neither Payton nor I were looking forward to being apart, but Heather made us both feel like we were still together through her detailed check-ins and plenty of pictures! Many of her check-ins made me laugh, when she would mention, "Loud meowing coming from the bedroom," or "He walked away and into the bathroom." Yes, that's my cat. Anti-social to a T. Despite his wandering off when he was "done," she stayed the full 30 minutes just to make sure he had everything he needed. I will definitely lock-in Heather for my next away-from-home excursion! On top of that, she even helped me sort out a small payment detail on Rover to make sure everything reflected correctly, which she absolutely didn’t have to do. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. About: Ask anyone I know what is my favorite thing, besides my kids and they will tell you dogs. Let me take care of your pets when you aren't able :) I am a relator and have very flexible hours. I will be able to visit your pets multiple times a day. No, 8 hr in between visits. I am happy to bring them to my house too if they get along well with other dogs. I have to 2 doodles at home who are always around other dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard, I can walk them, take them to dog parks etc.. I am happy to stop in multiple times a day, walk, drive your pet to my house for a visit or take them to a park.,it is your call. I just want to keep them from getting lonely until you get home.

About: I’m an animal lover! I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I also work full time so I know how hard it can be to get your pup out while working all day. Getting to be outside makes me happy, so if I get to take your dog for a stroll around the neighborhood it would make my day ! I currently work full time and still live at home with my mom. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so I know getting your dog outside on a day you work can be hard. I have off Mondays and Thursdays. I’ll mostly have full availability on those days. One of our dogs I adopted back in October 2025. I am currently taking her to physical therapy once a week. It takes about 4 hours out of my day due to the hour and a half drive to get there. But I love my dog and would do anything for her. So somedays I may have limited availability just because of her appointments. Getting my dogs and myself out everyday is super important to me. I unfortunately don’t have a fenced in backyard. So each time my dogs go out they either go for a walk or a little sniff walk. Both my dogs sleep with either me or my mom. They are well loved in this house! The wellbeing of our pets are so important to me.
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life! I love both! I also rode horses for many years and have had friends with bunnies and rodents so I have experienced many types of animals I’m a college student! Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings i’m in an elementary school and Wednesday’s I spend my whole day on campus as well as Thursday afternoons. I’m free most of the time ! I don’t board animals due to my own pets. But i adhere to any schedules and routines done in the home. I also respect others property. I always leave the place clean and tidy after staying and make sure to communicate anything necessary.

On top of this, the family emergency happened almost at the moment that I met Sabrina. Sabrina was an absolute angel. She went out of her way to make sure that our pup felt completely comfortable with her. She spent time, and was able to manage her on walks, which is no small task, considering how strong she is. “Peggy was wonderful to our little Oscar. She messaged multiple times a day as requested and sent pictures of the little guy. She also noticed him biting his paws due to allergies and alerted me right away. I was in an area with bad service and did not get the message right away so she went ahead and reached out to my vet and scheduled a time to go in because he had chewed his paw to the point where he was bleeding. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. She even followed up asking about him days later once we picked him up. You can just tell that Peggy is an animal lover.
