“Jessica is clearly a pet lover and will treat your pet as if it were her own. Total freedom to romp and play while you are away! My dog Smalls loves “vacationing” at Jessica’s home.”

“We boarded our 2 little guys with Rosarin for several nights and could tell they were very well cared for. We got updates via the app on their days felt relieved they were in excellent care. Would highly recommend!”

“Taylor and Samuel were amazing and took very good care of our dog. They made sure to send pictures and give updates and clearly enjoyed having him around. I would definitely recommend and book with them again!”

“We had such a great experience with Morgan and Ross! They were wonderful with Beau and truly treated him like their own! They were great about communicating and sending updates the entire time we were gone, which made us feel at ease. Beau also loved hanging out with their pups Griz and Presley :)”

“Keith was great, our dog was well cared for and happy while he was there. He gave us updates and sent pictures as well. He is easy to work with and very responsive. We’ll be back!”

“Kristine was excellent! Very communicative. She updated me every day and I could tell that my dog Cooper was having a great time. Would definitely use her services again.”

“We are so happy with the care and attention that Valerie provided. We received regular updates and videos, and I could tell from her pictures that our dog was at ease and well cared for. Our dog is fifteen so we always worry about leaving her with a kennel where she will be crated most of the day. With Valerie, she was free to roam, got plenty of outside breaks, and got all the good food she was used to. Thank you for taking care of our girl!”

“Kim is great!! Both Milo and Daisy love her so much! So far, best sitter for my babies. Every time we needed someone to take care of them, she was available for us! As long as my babies are happy and loved, we are happy!”

“Maria did a great job but what i appreciated was administering my guy's medicine and most of all staying up late to hand off my dog when my flight was badly delayed. Thanks again Maria”

“Jill is always great with our Khaleesi. It is obvious, Khaleesi really likes her. She sends pics, walks her and takes wonderful care of her especially during thunderstorms, which we both really appreciate! Thank you, Jill! You're truly the best! 🤗🫶🏾”

About: I understand how important pets are and how they are one of the family. Pet care quality is of paramount importance. I've had dogs and cats my whole life and now I'm offering that experience and level of care for your loved one. I am home full time now doing computer and electronic repair which leaves me with a very flexible schedule. I also sell essential oils for pets if that is of interest as well. I am dedicated to the wellbeing of pets so you can count on a quality experience. I am sensitive to people's specific requests when it comes to the care, feeding, and sometimes medication aspects needed as well. I try to keep my customers close by for the convenience and efficiency. I am an entrepreneur and stay at home dad, so I am available and flexible to suit your pets needs throughout the day. We treat pets as another member of the family. We treat pets as part of the family, including them in the daily activities. We do a lot of walking and playing as well to get your pets exercise.
About: I have been taking care of all different types of animals since I was very young. My mom was a vet tech, she brought home animals to nurse back to health. We also fostered many animals. I found my love for animals then. Especially dogs and cats. I have had so many cats and dogs growing up its hard to keep count. I had had small, big and huge dogs in my lifetime. I have experience with dogs with anxiety and elderly dogs. I can administer oral medications. I have volunteered at shelters in the past. And I have also fostered dogs with several organizations. I have two dogs of my own that are both rescues. They both love all dogs and play very well with other dogs. Im a work from home dog mom. I am free for doggy daycare most days. I am also available for overnight stays and weekends. I am open to overnight stays during the week or weekends. My schedule is very flexible. My dogs are allowed on the bed and couches so your dog is too. If you dont allow that at your home I will do my best to keep your dog off of the furniture. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. I prefer your dog be microchipped and up to date on all vaccines.
“Brian’s place was a perfect fit for Ralph. At the end of his stay when I got Ralph home he was not stressed at all and continued his evening as if he had never outside. Brian’s family with their pets is such a homely setting that I will definitely be rebooking with him. He was also very prompt in responding to my messages and provided timely updates about Ralph.”

“My dog absolutely loved her time with Trish. I got many updates and pictures. I knew without a doubt my dog was being loved and taken care of while I was away. She was very flexible and understanding when we had a change of plans that delayed our return home by a few hours as well. I highly recommend her. My dog can’t wait to have a play date with her pups someday soon!”

“As usual a great service! they helps us a lot. This time we use their boarding service because my wife was going to give birth. They were as always extremely kind and understanding with Lucas and Max's delivery and pick up times.”

“Erin was fantastic with my dog, Max, this weekend! She provided daily updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Max was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. Erin was reliable, communicative, and treated Max like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter, and I would definitely book with her again.”

“So happy with Kaya’s stay at Elise’s house. Her dog and Kaya got along so well. Elise provided us updates throughout the stay, which put us at ease. Definitely coming back for more stays! Highly recommend”

“A very loving family with lots of pet experience. They were able to teach my dog how to “drop” a ball after fetching. Before she would not want to give it up after fetching a toy. They also helped her learn how to get along with other dogs.”

“Sadie had an amazing time at Lynda's home. She has a beautiful backyard and very dog friendly home. It was wonderful not to worry about my dog knowing she was in good hands. Thanks again Lynda we greatly appreciate you.”

Donna is the BEST!!! It's our 3rd time using Donna for our dog. The 2nd & 3rd time my dog didn't even say goodbye to me he feels so comfy & loved at Donna's house (i just gave her the leash & my dog was familiar and knew was in good hands). My dog has a big fenced in yard to play, a good host dog friend in Marshall, & gets plenty of pet pets from Donna. My wife and I appreciate the picture & video updates that make our day on vacations. Next time I need a sitter & go out of town it will be with the Top Rated Dogsitter from Rover, Donna again
Our experience with Linda and George has been terrific. They offered to meet us ahead of our trip to make sure that we and our dog Buster were comfortable with them. They were friendly and easy to work with, made Buster very comfortable during his stay and kept up with his walks, even in the rain. We appreciated their text message updates and we would love to have them look after Buster again.

Jenny did a great job caring for our senior dog. She communicated well and sent photos. She was very understanding of older dog issues, gave pills, and asked if I wanted her to add a little chicken to our dog’s food when she wasn’t eating much. Jenny was flexible when our flight was late. I was very pleased

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wenmoth Acres home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wenmoth Acres.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wenmoth Acres sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
