About: I started dog sittng in college for my professors and quickly grew to love it. I've gained experience walking, feeding, and caring for dogs, and I bring these skills to my own pets as well. I'm excited to provide the same care and attention to your dog while you're away. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can accomodate your need. I also offer pickup and drop-off services for a small fee. I have a fenced yard providing a secured space for your dog to play and relax. I also have a senior male Australian Shedperd who loves to play with other dogs, so your pet will have a friendly companion during the stay.
“Jackie was absolutely wonderful with my Border Collie, Ghost, while I was out of town in San Antonio. From the very first meet-and-greet, I was impressed by her setup—it was clear she had put a lot of thought into making dogs feel comfortable and cared for. I don’t like the idea of my dog being in a kennel for long stretches when I’m away, so it was refreshing to see the space Jackie created where Ghost could feel at home. Throughout his stay, Jackie sent me multiple daily updates with thorough notes and plenty of photos. That kind of communication is exactly what gives peace of mind when you’re away, and she nailed it. On top of that, Ghost was right at the start of a food transition when I dropped him off. Jackie kept me posted every day on how he was eating, and thanks to her attentiveness, he fully transitioned to the new food while under her care. Her family and kids were also great with Ghost—he’s high-energy, and it was clear he had good company and plenty of engagement during his stay. I also appreciated that Jackie communicated ahead of time about other dogs who might be boarding, which helped me feel even more comfortable about the environment Ghost would be in. All around, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Jackie gave Ghost the kind of care and attention I’d want for him, and I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“My multipoo stayed with Eric over the weekend. Eric sent a photo daily and was always quick to respond to questions. My dog returned home healthy and happy. I highly recommend Eric for boarding! Jan”

“All good! Thank you for taking care of Steely, our quirky and a bit anxious boy. He hung out with Danielle and a good-natured golden doodle. Sounds like it was a perfect pairing that calmed him down and brought out his playful side. Thanks for everything, Danielle!”

“omg! I can't describe how happy I am to find Robynn, my little princess was so happy my little dog loves her so much. Robynn, she is so sweet she is very loving with all the puppies. Thank you so much Robynn!🥰🥰🥰🥰”

“This is the second time my pup has stayed with her and we love her! My dog is sad the whole car ride home because she doesn’t want to leave. She makes sure to send videos and pics with updates to let you know your pup is doing ok. She’s so flexible if adjustments are needed. Has definitely become our top rover choice for boarding!”

About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
“Another great stay! Maple loves her time with Kristine and her family and they show such love for her! It does my heart good knowing I am leaving her in such good hands!”

“We needed a sitter last minute for our two dogs and we’re so lucky to have Jessica and David available. They were quick to respond to my request and arranged a meet and greet right away. The best part is the great care my dogs had while we were away for the weekend. They have a great fenced in yard so my dogs were able to be outside and be active and play. Jessica and David were very communicative with pictures and videos so we felt very comfortable being away. We highly recommend them to care for your pooches!”

“Pallvi and her family are fantastic! This is our second time leaving our two dogs with them and the experience continues to be great. If you or someone you know is looking for a family to look after your furry friends, my wife and I cannot recommend Pallvi and her family enough.”

“Fanny was so attentive to my dog, she treated him with lots of love and tender care, and, patience, as if he was her own! I definitely would use her again. I highly recommend her services! She is very kind, friendly, and accommodating!!!”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Tintin while I was away. Knowing that they were in your hands gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy a truly worry-free vacation. I really appreciate the updates, the kindness, and the attention you gave—it’s clear you treat pets like family. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring. Thank you again for everything!”

“My puppy, Corey, stayed at Jackie's home for 6 days while I was on vacation. She sent a bunch of pictures, several each day. Corey did not have to be leashed during his stay much at all, because Jackie has a beautiful fenced in backyard. I feel incredibly grateful to have found her on Rover. I could tell from the pictures that Corey was having so much fun and was in very capable hands. I was able to totally enjoy my vacation. Thank you so much, Jackie!”

“Great hosts and couple! They took Dexter in on such short notice with welcoming Arms. Definitely going to reach out to them in the future when we’re out of town. Thank you so much!”

My dog Peaches stayed with Morgan and Ross for a second boarding. They were wonderful taking care of her. She is always happy and very well cared for. Morgan sent lots of pictures and updates which always puts my mind at ease that our girl is safe, happy and loved while we were away.

We couldn't be happier with Jackie. This was our second time booking with her, and she continues to be our go to sitter. She is professional, communicative, and does a wonderful job keeping us updated, which makes being away from our dogs so much easier. Highly recommended!

Jenny did a great job caring for our senior dog. She communicated well and sent photos. She was very understanding of older dog issues, gave pills, and asked if I wanted her to add a little chicken to our dog’s food when she wasn’t eating much. Jenny was flexible when our flight was late. I was very pleased

Jon & Wendi provided a comfortable and fun stay for our Wrigley! Their knowledge from having their own Golden Retrievers along with their fun quirks that come along with really helped in deciding who would care for her for a weekend stay. They provided reassurance and were very understanding of our concerns for her being a very anxious pup and attentive to her needs. They went above and beyond and provided her with her own personal fan for the stay and provided plenty of stimulation with walks and playtime with their children. She came home and went right to bed, she had so much fun! A tired pup is a happy pup! Will definitely be utilizing them again as her home away from home!
