I also managed a pet store for over 2 years; responsible for multiple animals at once. My family and I have breed dogs as well for the past 10 years. I am comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I work as a part time mental health therapist. I set my own schedule, I’m pretty flexible in my schedule. I am also home most weekend & holidays as my family lives local as well. I have two pups, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a rescue pitbull. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have also grown up raising birds, cats, and rabbits. I had my first pet-sitting business when I was just 11 years old. I am a current dog and cat mom. I aspire to be a dog trainer and have my own business one day. I have successfully trained my own dog in a variety of different skills and I am eager to gain even more knowledge to work towards my career. I have 3+ years experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and all temperaments. I also have experience working with dogs with special needs. I just moved to the area and I am currently looking for a full-time position in the animal care field. In the meantime, I am looking to find work through Rover to stay caught up on finances. I do plan to continue using Rover for side-work after finding a full-time job. I also believe it could help me gain experience towards my career goals. My schedule is very open at the moment. I take my dog on walks every evening and have training sessions for an hour every day. Since I live with other people currently, I can only pet-sit in clients’ homes. I do have a very friendly 5-year old doodle who loves to play with other dogs, so I can always bring him along to keep your pet company. I follow my clients’ instructions to the tee whether regarding potty schedules, feeding schedules, bathing, walking, playing, training, etc. I can also do any additional services if need be while caring for your pet at your home.

About: I have a ton of experience pet sitting and checking in on pets throughout the day as well as dog walking. I also have a lot of experience working with senior aged animals. I am very confident in my skills and would love the opportunity to help out anyone who needs it. I am super flexible with hours and always available. I am currently on summer break from school so right now I have all the time in the world. Once September starts I will have to go back to school but I only have a few classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so I would only be away from, the animals for two hours at most. Caring for pets in their home is my preferred way to do it because they are familiar with the environment. I have experience watching pets in all types of and different types of outdoor access. So even if there is no screened in fence, I am able to deal with that.

About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. I have a gift of love for dogs. My dogs mean the world to me. They are everything. When ever I see someone walking their dog I say hi to the dog! I am patient and caring. I believe dogs need that because just like us they have feelings and triggers. I understand each dog is different and I will most certainly adapt to your dogs needs. Frequent potty breaks and long walks I have unfenced 3 acres and quiet streets and walking trails for exercise and a 7 year old boxer Shepard mix who loves to play. My dog and any dog are allowed on furniture unless you suggest otherwise. I love to walk or wven run long distance. My doggo baylee and I love to 8 miles most days.

About: I live on a small farm in Harvard we have horses , 2 dogs , 1 cat and a flock of chickens . I’m comfortable with all animals !! Oh ….. except for snakes :) I’m retired so I have plenty of time . Love spending time with all my animals and catering to their needs . My husband is semi retired so my availability is huge . About: Vet technician, worked with sheltered dogs, & police K9s. I will not turn down any pet of any medical or behavioral issues. I lean towards difficult cases (medical or behavioral) with my patients knowing some may require extra responsibilities that I’m fully confident in helping in anyway I can. Due to an unexpected obstacle in my life I decided to take a sense of leave as a vet tech possibly temporary.. About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
