About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. I enjoy the bond and training from the start. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom looking to start working again and thought this would be a great fit due to my passion with animals. I have a flexible schedule and am available to board most days. Dogs will be given love and attention, play, walks, really whatever they are into or owner needs. My own crew loves to swim in our pool, play frisbee or fetch the chuck-it. I have 3 custom built in crates that are massively oversized. I can keep dogs separate from my own or integrate. About: Hi! I’m Michael, and caring for dogs isn’t just something I do. It’s been a huge part of my life since 2010. For over 16 years, I worked as a professional dog walker, pet sitter, trainer, and route manager in the Chicago area. During that time, I worked with two highly respected pet care companies, Worthhee and Swooft, where I wasn’t just trusted to care for clients’ beloved pets, but also to manage walking routes, train and onboard new team members, and help maintain the high standards our clients expected. Over the years, I’ve cared for just about every breed, size, age, and personality imaginable. From energetic puppies learning good manners to gentle senior dogs needing extra patience and specialized care, I’ve truly seen it all. I’m experienced administering medications, caring for dogs with medical conditions, changing diapers for senior pets, working with reactive or anxious dogs, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’m also certified in Dog and Cat CPR, because I believe our pets deserve someone who’s prepared for the unexpected, not just the everyday. These days, I’m the Assistant Store Manager at Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Sycamore. One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to meet all the puppies and dogs that come through the store… but honestly, it’s never enough! I miss spending my days working directly with dogs, which is exactly why I’m joining Rover. A few years ago, life took me in the best possible direction. I met my amazing wife, fell in love, and she convinced me to trade Chicago’s busy streets for the quieter life in Sycamore. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I unfortunately can not offer in home pet care due to the fact that my sweet pitbull is a little reactive to other dogs, but I am able to travel to you and give you dog the best care in the area guaranteed.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life, I’ve also had several rodents, mice and rats, and I’ve looked after friends dogs. I have fostered many cats and I’m also very experienced with giving animals medicine. I work remote and will have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby! I just graduated college, I’m looking for an additional source of income to add to my part time job. I’m pretty open week days and may be able to make different times work on Fridays and Sundays. My schedule can be flexible, so feel free to reach out 🙂 I will follow all of the owners instructions, send pictures and text message updates. I can have cats and cat friendly dogs spend the night. About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I recently just left a data entry job, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I love animals more than people so they are going to fit perfectly into my daily routine. I would spend time with your pet as much as you’d like! I love spending time with animals whether that’s playing with them, giving them pets, going on walks or just being next to them giving them company!

I’m new to Rover, but because I don't currently have a pet of my own, I have plenty of love, attention, and energy to give to yours. I've been a trusted dog sitter for friends and family for years, and I'm excited to meet even more through Rover! I believe pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection I'd want for my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra company while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve always found ways to get along with any animal! I don't currently hold a full-time job position, so I'm pretty flexible during the week for my schedule. I have other side jobs and am picking up shifts when I can, but I'm willing to move things around to suit what works best for you and your pet. I am able to host one dog at a time in my home for certain periods of time. I do not have any other animals living in my home, so there would be no interactions with any other dog while in my home. I also have a fenced in backyard so your dog is always in my view and very safe. The rest of my family members are also huge dog lovers, so while I would be the caretaker, your dog is able to experience all the love my home has to offer. I am sure to follow all directions as needed regarding your pet in my house or yours. I'm very detail-oriented and sometimes a perfectionist, so following instructions to ensure your dogs health and safety is something you don't have to worry about with me!

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish for the last 15+ years. I am a certified Dog Star Dog Trainer. I also managed a pet store for over 2 years; responsible for multiple animals at once. My family and I have breed dogs as well for the past 10 years. I am comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I work as a part time mental health therapist. I set my own schedule, I’m pretty flexible in my schedule. I am also home most weekend & holidays as my family lives local as well. I have two pups, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a rescue pitbull. We are able to shut the door in order to fit your pets needs. For pets who prefer their own home, I am happy to follow their typical routines and needs to ensure they feel safe and loved in their own home while you’re away.

About: I'm located in Sycamore, IL and am familiar with the surrounding area. I’ve been caring for dogs of all ages and sizes for most of my life, from puppies to senior sweethearts. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just plenty of cuddles, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I understand that each dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel right at home with me. Your dog will be treated like family—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs. On each visit I can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours, even overnight - whatever your fur baby needs. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give your pets the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve. I'm happy to spend a quick 30 minutes, a few hours, or overnight - whatever your fur babies need! Some holidays are available, but do fill up quickly. I will provide your pet with the same care and consideration that you do. I'll make sure they not only have their food, water, and bathroom breaks, but plenty of playtime, walks, and love on the schedule you wish them to have. Keeping their routine as close to normal is my goal while your pets are in my care.

About: I grew up with dogs all of my life. We always had at least one dog and usually a cat growing up. My family and I now have 3 dogs- Cocker Spaniel, Bernedoodle, and a Beagle mix. We treat our dogs as family- humans. I consider them my children. I am a former foster for Tails, but unfortunately I had to give that up due to getting attached to them all. ❤️ *update- I’m fostering again! 🥰💕❤️ I am a stay at home mom to my 3 dogs! My 15, 12, and 6 year old are in school all day. I am home all day besides an occasional errand, school drop off/pickup, or an after school or weekend sporting event for my boys. My husband also has a flexible work schedule. In fact, I usually have him come along on meet & greets so that we can tag team visits if need be. We have a Petsafe invisible fence. If you have a Petsafe collar, then it should work at my home. Besides the Petsafe invisible fence, we have an extra long tie out in the backyard. We also have a fenced in area near the pool which is unavailable during pool season otherwise open. I recently put up a fenced area that is suitable for dogs that aren’t jumpers or strong. Our yard is about half an acre. I’m happy to walk a dog on a leash in the yard or around the neighborhood as well. We have a beautiful walking path nearby. I also love giving the option to pet owners for in home visits while they’re gone. Sometimes a pet is more content and comfortable in their own home. I’m happy to visit 3-4 times a day to provide some company, feed, and allow for potty breaks. It’s really a great option for many who don’t enjoy being boarded at a facility.

About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

About: We are animal lovers, energetic, and will love your pet(s) like our own. We have two fur babies and one fur-less baby: Remi (Sphynx cat), and Memphis and Kota (Australian Cattle Dogs). We both grew up with and around pets, and have past experience looking after them for friends, family, and Rover clients. We have done it all: Dog-walking, drop-ins, house-sitting, and doggy daycare. We would love to meet you and your pet at a public dog park before dog or cat sitting so we can get to know you better. About: I am a pediatric nurse. I have close to 10 years of dog and cat experience through family pets and recently a diabetic dog named Dexter (has since passed away) I have experience providing oral and injectable medications for dogs. I work three 12-hour shifts per week but each week varies. However, I have flexibility in choosing what days I want to work. I'm typically up at 5am for work so if you need to drop your pet off early or need early check ins I'm available! I live in a single family home with wife. We have safety gates and crates in our home for when we have to step out of the house. I will separate our dog from other dogs if necessary. Food is always kept in a safe spot that no dog can get into. Our subdivision is surrounded by open fields so there are plenty of areas to walk. The backyard is large and fenced in. Fence does not have slats so next door dogs do not have a way in unless we want them for playtime. I walk our dog multiple times a day for potty breaks/exercise. I always walk our dog with a leash and will do so with other dogs. I love to snuggle and play with dogs and will do so with yours! I am happy to meet in advance to discuss any needs required and to make sure I am the best fit for your dog! As a dog parent I understand that dogs are a member of the family that require special care. I want to provide the best, stress-free care for your pup. I can check in as often as you request and will provide pictures and updates throughout the service.

About: I had family pets throughout my childhood that I would help take care of. Now, I have 2 dogs of my own! they are both two years old and have a ton of energy. I have a very flexible schedule with my other job. I am mostly always available to pet sit or take your dog for a walk, unless I am traveling. I have an adorable friendly golden retriever and high energy ausiedoodle that always wantto play, I have many toys and treats, and a crate if needed. If your fur baby needs anything specific gladly let me know!

About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. I recently adopted 2 young cats who love people. For dogs, I’ve adopted dogs of all different ages with various health needs. I only occasionally go into the office and work from home Mon - Fri. I’m used to having multiple animals so I’m comfortable with whatever their schedule may need. About: I have 3 large dogs of my own so I am no newbie to walking big pups! I absolutely love all dogs and am lucky to have the summers off to give them long walks and provide much needed potty breaks! I am off for the summer (June - August) so weekdays at anytime work for me. I also am free to cover while you go on vacations :) I am extra cautious with our fur babies and their safety, happiness, and well-being is of utmost importance When I am in a client’s home or backyard, I am always sure to check the environment so ensure it is safe for pets (i.e. fence is locked, no small pieces around for choking, water available, etc).
