About: I’ve been caring for dogs through walking and pet sitting since 2024, helping neighbors, friends, and family with everything from daily walks to overnight care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always make sure they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for. In addition to pet care, I’ve been babysitting for about 5 years, which has made me very responsible, patient, and reliable. About: I naturally get attached to animals, so your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll actually be cared for! I’m really patient and calm, which helps a lot with shy or anxious pets. I stick to routines and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I like having something to look forward to, and spending time with animals is honestly one of my favorite parts of it. I make sure to plan around visits and give each pet my full attention instead of rushing in and out. I keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable, following your routine and giving lots of love. About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I recently just left a data entry job, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I love animals more than people so they are going to fit perfectly into my daily routine. I would spend time with your pet as much as you’d like! I love spending time with animals whether that’s playing with them, giving them pets, going on walks or just being next to them giving them company!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! New to rover but have done multiple overnights with dogs & love walks! I have two doggies of my own, and I babysit frequently so I am very comfortable being around different dogs. I’m currently a graduate school student! I attend classes Mondays & Wednesdays until 2pm and have online courses Thursdays 8-10am. Aside from that I babysit which is very flexible so I have lots of time to walk any pups in need :) I love going for walks and being active! I have a large golden doodle and a small shih tzu and have cared for dogs of sizes in between, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes!

About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. In our meet and greet for puppies we will discuss your desired household rules and goals so that I can maintain those rules and skills during their stay with me. Puppies also have the opprotunity to learn important social and play skills from my appropriate, mature dogs. In addition to puppies, I also take great care with my "reactive" friends. Especially when it comes to walking and adventure time. I have the skills and knowledge to support reactive dogs getting their walks in without rehearsing reactive behavior. This can ensure that your dog still gets to adventure without trending backwards in your behavior goals. I know how important daily exercise and sniffing time is for the wellbeing of all dogs, but especially for puppies and our reactive dogs. I love spending time with dogs and getting to know all the wonderful things that they find joy in and those fun personality traits that make them unique! My life revolves around helping dogs live happier, fuller lives. When dogs stay with me we begin our dogs with a stroll through the trails of our wooded property before settling down with a chew or frozen project. Depending on the dog there may be some short, fun, training sessions, play time with my dogs, or play time with me before their afternoon naptime. In the evenings we set out on another walk or adventure to a nature preserve. I have a fully fenced back yard space where dogs are able to potty and play off-leash. Additionally we have trails throughout our property where dogs get to enjoy lovely walks on a long-line. Dogs are crated overnight. I have the ability to either crate them next to my own dogs for company, or to set them up in their own "private suite" where they don't need to worry about other dogs being close to them while they rest. I do require all clients to leave me with their current veterinarian's contact information and emergency contact details should something unexpected happen. I want you to feel confident that your pet's health and safety is taken seriously during their vacation with me.

Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just plenty of cuddles, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. Your dog will be treated like family—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs. On each visit I can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours, even overnight - whatever your fur baby needs. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give your pets the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve. I'm happy to spend a quick 30 minutes, a few hours, or overnight - whatever your fur babies need! Some holidays are available, but do fill up quickly. I will provide your pet with the same care and consideration that you do. I'll make sure they not only have their food, water, and bathroom breaks, but plenty of playtime, walks, and love on the schedule you wish them to have. Keeping their routine as close to normal is my goal while your pets are in my care.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish for the last 15+ years. I am a certified Dog Star Dog Trainer. I also managed a pet store for over 2 years; responsible for multiple animals at once. My family and I have breed dogs as well for the past 10 years. I am comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I work as a part time mental health therapist. I set my own schedule, I’m pretty flexible in my schedule. I am also home most weekend & holidays as my family lives local as well. I have two pups, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a rescue pitbull. About: Hello! I’ve recently decided to join Rover to help around the Chicago area. To me, animals/pets are a gift. Since I was born we always had a family dog. I had a Yorkie named Willy I got in first grade, I was very shy and he was my best friend growing up, I was never alone with him by my side. I volunteered at a couple animal shelters a few times a month when I was younger and always got recognized for how the animals would take to me. I’m a very easy going, energetic and understanding person, just being around animals brings me joy. I would love to help you keep your dog or cat active, happy and satisfied everyday :) I'm currently working part-time (3 days a week, 25 hours) so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm currently. ***I started Rover in Arizona in 2019 and have been moving and figuring a lot out since then so my responses haven't been the best previously but I'm finally settled down and fully committing to this as a side job for me and promise to respond promptly :)*** I have a small fenced back yard. I live in Bucktown so I'm pretty lucky to even have that. My pup loves it back there!

About: I had family pets throughout my childhood that I would help take care of. Now, I have 2 dogs of my own! they are both two years old and have a ton of energy. I have a very flexible schedule with my other job. I am mostly always available to pet sit or take your dog for a walk, unless I am traveling. About: I have been taking care of my Australian shepherd since I was twelve years old. I've been grooming her, walking her, training her, and feeding her since I was a child. Throughout my life I have gotten two more dogs and many more animals that I have loved taking care of. My college classes have all been online so I have had plenty of time to be at home and spend time with my three dogs. At my home I have three dogs. Two that usually keep to themselves but one Husky that loves to play. I have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around, as well as cages to crate dogs if needed.

About: I have 3 large dogs of my own so I am no newbie to walking big pups! I absolutely love all dogs and am lucky to have the summers off to give them long walks and provide much needed potty breaks! I am off for the summer (June - August) so weekdays at anytime work for me. I also am free to cover while you go on vacations :) I am extra cautious with our fur babies and their safety, happiness, and well-being is of utmost importance When I am in a client’s home or backyard, I am always sure to check the environment so ensure it is safe for pets (i.e. fence is locked, no small pieces around for choking, water available, etc).

About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. I recently adopted 2 young cats who love people. For dogs, I’ve adopted dogs of all different ages with various health needs. I only occasionally go into the office and work from home Mon - Fri.
