About: I've taken care of pets since I was young. I've always had a dog growing up! After moving to Sycamore in 1998, I moved into a farm. We had almost every farm animal, as well as cats. I've had all of my dogs from puppies until the end. Come summer, I am free all the time! I work at the school district! Just weekends are softball. My oldest is on a traveling team! I will follow what is needed to be done with your pet! Treat your pet like my own fur baby. Always lots of love and treats (if that’s okay with the treats lol)

Family, friends, and neighbors have relied upon me to care for their feline babies so their pets could stay comfortable in their own home in familiar surroundings. About: Hello! Kim and family here. We have over 30 years of animal care experience. From cats and dogs to lizards and horses. We feel comfortable with a variety of animals. With a background in law enforcement adjacent positions and a TS clearance. Clean background. Bachelors level education in behavioral science and criminal justice and security administration, as well as CPR certifications for humans and animals, and a vet assisting certification/experience! We can administer insulin and give oral medications. We also LOVE elderly animals. We are licensed bonded and insured. And have decades of the world under our feet. Animals are like people to us. We actually prefer them, and function with them better. Living on a five acre hobby farm for over a decade. They are literally our family now that the kids have aged into adults. It’s me and my husband Mike here. My family helps me operate a small pet care business out of Big Rock IL. House Sitting: We treat your home with respect and follow all of your rules. Water plants. Get mail. And stick to pet schedules. Please advise we do this full time. Each sitting is different as each animal and owner ask for different things. If full time care is needed it will be an extended stay rate of 125 for 8am through 8pm hours and 75 for the night. If we can’t come and go. We can’t make money. This is all I do for income and no one can survive off of only 75 or less for the day. Otherwise most sittings look like me making that my center of gravity through any schedule I have for the day. Usually no longer than four to six hours away from the home while out with drops in accrued in a single day. For Boarding: PLEASE READ: This is a home setting; we do not consistently tour our home. I believe the photos on here and reviews do us justice. We send pet parents updates with the surrounding view almost daily to every other day. Having people walk through the house consistently was just too much for out family and the farm animals here. So we do not do this anymore. In the future we may build a kennel/outbuildings addition, and will offer tours of that should the time ever come that we decide to do that. But again, WE DO NOT PROVIDE TOURS OF OUR PERSONAL HOME. There are also other considerations to consider that most residential people do not account for. 1. Liability coverage: my liability coverage covers your animals. Not you. 2. Animal anxiety: it’s a chain. The system I have for doing things allows for animals to be as calm and anxiety free as possible. If you’re on the property. The regulars don’t know you and anxiety fills the entire area. 3. Biosecurity: Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t know where your shoes have been. 4. Private farm setting: exactly as it states. The lay out past my private acres long drive does not even allow access to my front door without going through two secured gates. It’s not easy access. 5. Safety: I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not need anyone to know the exact lay out of my home. You’re signing up for pet service. I am providing this service. Not giving people access to my home. Thank you for understanding. Please note this is a country setting. Someone is always here if I (Kim) am not. Sometimes photos have issues sending. But they always eventually go through. Service can be patchy because it’s the country. Text updates are reliably daily. I pride myself on building close relationships with my clients. I treat the animals I care for with top priority as my family does this full time and this is our entire income. Our reviews and the animals we care for speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your animals with truth, trust, and transparency. About: I grew up with dogs all of my life. We always had at least one dog and usually a cat growing up. My family and I now have 3 dogs- Cocker Spaniel, Bernedoodle, and a Beagle mix. We treat our dogs as family- humans. I consider them my children. I am a former foster for Tails, but unfortunately I had to give that up due to getting attached to them all. ❤️ *update- I’m fostering again! 🥰💕❤️ I am a stay at home mom to my 3 dogs! My 15, 12, and 6 year old are in school all day. I am home all day besides an occasional errand, school drop off/pickup, or an after school or weekend sporting event for my boys. My husband also has a flexible work schedule. In fact, I usually have him come along on meet & greets so that we can tag team visits if need be. We have a Petsafe invisible fence. If you have a Petsafe collar, then it should work at my home. Besides the Petsafe invisible fence, we have an extra long tie out in the backyard. We also have a fenced in area near the pool which is unavailable during pool season otherwise open. I recently put up a fenced area that is suitable for dogs that aren’t jumpers or strong. Our yard is about half an acre. I’m happy to walk a dog on a leash in the yard or around the neighborhood as well. We have a beautiful walking path nearby. I also love giving the option to pet owners for in home visits while they’re gone. Sometimes a pet is more content and comfortable in their own home. I’m happy to visit 3-4 times a day to provide some company, feed, and allow for potty breaks. It’s really a great option for many who don’t enjoy being boarded at a facility.

My parents owned Shih Tzus since I was a kid and I was constantly around close family members' German Shepherds as well. I've done drop-ins countless times over the years for cats of friends and family. Now along with my husband, we live with our dog, Melon, and our cat, Amy. Melon is a 50lb 1-year-old mix breed, and Amy is an 11-year-old senior cat. They can be hectic and they keep us on our toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way! When your pets are in my care, I'll always treat them with all the love and adoration I give my own. I am currently between full-time jobs, so my schedule tends to be open and very flexible for caring for your pets, whether it be on weekdays or the weekend. About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I had a Yorkie named Willy I got in first grade, I was very shy and he was my best friend growing up, I was never alone with him by my side. I currently have two dogs of my own, and have been working on training my new puppy, so I would be happy to continue a training program with your dog while you are away. I enjoy taking the dogs for walks and hikes near Denver, especially around red rocks! I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule to fit all of your pets needs! I can be available days nights and weekends. I have a large fenced yard and a doggy door for my two fur babies. We kennel our puppy when we are away but our senior dog is allowed to do as he wishes. I feel that it is important to always follow all instructions given by the owner as all pets are unique.
About: I have been taking care of my Australian shepherd since I was twelve years old. I've been grooming her, walking her, training her, and feeding her since I was a child. Throughout my life I have gotten two more dogs and many more animals that I have loved taking care of. My college classes have all been online so I have had plenty of time to be at home and spend time with my three dogs. At my home I have three dogs. Two that usually keep to themselves but one Husky that loves to play. I have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around, as well as cages to crate dogs if needed.
About: I worked for two years in an Animal Hospital, have volunteered with Humane Societies and Shelters. Come from a family that has fostered over 100 dogs, including our own! I work days and evenings, I am always available between 6am and 10am as well as after 7pm weekdays. Weekends have much more flexibility in when I am available. I am thorough and make sure to meet all safety, health and wellness needs of the pets. Pets are family and i do my best to make sure you know your pet is well taken care of and loved.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I’ve got my first one when I was 5 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve gained a ton of experience taking care of all dogs. As an owner of 3 dogs (2 small. 1 large) I’ve definitely have had my fair share of doggy cuddles, play time, walks, and lots love! About: I've taken care of pets since I was a teenager. Pets that belonged to my sister to pets that have belonged to my neighbors. I have experience feeding and walking dogs. I'm currently in between jobs at the moment, but that'll change in a little while. So, take advantage while you can. Of course, when I do get a job, I'll still make time to care for your pet! I have a very flexible schedule with my other job. I am mostly always available to pet sit or take your dog for a walk, unless I am traveling. About: I've taken care of pets since I was young. I've always had a dog growing up! After moving to Sycamore in 1998, I moved into a farm. We had almost every farm animal, as well as cats. I've had all of my dogs from puppies until the end. Come summer, I am free all the time! I work at the school district! Just weekends are softball. My oldest is on a traveling team! “This was our first rover experience- our two dogs stayed with Maria and her family for about 4 days.Maria was happy to do a meet and greet before hand a couple months prior. The day we were dropping the dogs off my female who hasn’t been spayed yet started her menstrual cycle, I was so worried we were going to have to cancel our flights because I totally wouldn’t blame Maria if they didn’t want to keep her while she was wearing a diaper. But Maria was happy to still take both pups for the weekend and I am so thankful. My lab is a high energy gal and did great. We got pictures and updates multiple times a day of their walks and playing in the back yard. They seem happy and content after their stay with Maria and I cannot recommend her more. We have another stay booked with her already. So thankful to find someone to leave my pups with who we trust and can feel at ease leaving them with.”

“Susan was absolutely amazing with Paganini! 🐾 She has a big backyard where he got to run and play all day, and she took him on long, happy walks too. Throughout the day, she sent me tons of adorable photo updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. Paganini came home happy, calm, and completely well-rested—a true sign he was loved and well cared for. She was also incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating with our schedule, especially knowing we have a baby at home. On top of that, she made sure Paganini got his daily medication without any issues, which was such a relief. I honestly can’t recommend Susan enough—she treated Paganini like one of her own, and we feel so lucky to have found her!”
