“Jackie is beyond amazing. My very anxious fur baby has become so much more comfortable (and happy!) with overnight stays thanks to the patience Jackie and her family have taken to make her feel at home. There’s no one else I trust to take such great care of her!”

“Ashley took great care of our husky, Cleo. We got so many pictures and videos which was really appreciated! Ashley was very communicative throughout the stay. We would definitely board Cleo with her again and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for doggie daycare and boarding in the area!”

“I can’t speak highly enough about Shalyn, Joe, and their family. We went away for an extended period of time and were adamant about finding the perfect dog sitter for our girl Lucy, and that’s exactly what we found. From the moment they took her in, they made Lucy part of their family. Not to mention, she found a new best friend in their German Shepherd, Sadie. Every single day, I received photos and videos of them playing nonstop. It was incredibly heartwarming, and I couldn’t have been happier knowing Lucy was in such loving and capable hands. Just to put things in perspective, Shalyn, Joe, and family are about a 40 minute drive from our home, but they will always be our go to whenever we need care for Lucy. Thank you so much for everything. You are sincerely the best.”

“Kimberly was amazing with my two girls, definitely a 5-star sitter! She sent photos updating me while I was away and was great calming my bi girl, who iI s afraid of thunder. She is communicative, timely, knowledgeable and loved my dogs like her own; I highly recommend Kimberly! !”

“June did a wonderful job taking care of my pup! She was very prompt in response time, and was very attentive and sent updates and multiple pictures while she took care of my pup. Thank you so much, June!”

“Dana and her family are wonderful! Have been using her for a few years now. She is very genuine and shows my dog love, and my dog(s) love(d) her! Very good communication including updates and photos during their stay, has been flexible and supportive when needed. My dog and I trust Dana and very much appreciate her loving care for the animals.”

“Danielle loves animals and you can tell! She was wonderful to work with and kept us up to date on our Daisy with great photos and stories. Go with Danielle—she’s a sweetheart!”

“Willow was well taken care of, and I really appreciated the updates while I was away. It was nice knowing she was in good hands, especially since she’s still a puppy. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely book with them again.”

“Jackie was awesome!! She and her family showed so much love and care to our dog, Frank. He had a great time with a few other furry friends! It was so nice getting the photos from Jackie, several times a day. Jackie is so accommodating and caring! I wish we had discovered her sooner!! She is the best!!”

“Jeannie and her family were wonderful with our big guy Murphy! He has a pretty complicated medical issue and Jeannie went above and beyond to make sure he stayed healthy during his stay with her! We loved the updates and felt like he was truly in great hands. Will 100% book again! Thanks Jeannie!”

“Jessica took great care of Avery. She was boarding another rat terrier at the same time and took steps to ensure the two dogs got along at feeding time. Her daughter made sure Avery got lots of love and exercise. She came home happy & healthy. Overall it was a great experience.”

“10/10 would recommend! Best dog sitter we've ever had! Niratcha kept me updated and sent lots of pictures, I always worry when we are away but knowing they were happy and playing the whole time made my vacation so much more enjoyable!”

“Omg! I’m so happy to found Robynn, She’s incredible my little baby Lili was a little princess in Robynn’s, She send me videos pictures messages. Lili was so happy she loved her 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰”

About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.

About: I've taken care of cats since I was 10, so I've got a few years of experience. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied upon me to care for their feline babies so their pets could stay comfortable in their own home in familiar surroundings. Being an owner myself, I'm aware of the various challenges associated with medicating our feline friends and I'm ready if the situation arises! My experience with special needs cats is significant. Currently I have one deaf kitty (age 7) and another who has been blind most of his life (age 16). I've worked with picky eaters and those who ate everything in sight - those who were playful, the cuddlers, and those who wish to observe from afar. I'm happy to provide house sitting or drop-in visits. Plenty of play, cuddles, petting, and love provided on every visit!

About: I have cared for cats my entire life and currently have a Ragdoll cat of my own. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always take the time to help them feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers a quieter approach, I adapt my care to their individual needs. I am happy to provide feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, playtime, and plenty of attention and companionship during each visit.
About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish for the last 15+ years. I am a certified Dog Star Dog Trainer. I also managed a pet store for over 2 years; responsible for multiple animals at once. My family and I have breed dogs as well for the past 10 years. I am comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I work as a part time mental health therapist. I set my own schedule, I’m pretty flexible in my schedule. I am also home most weekend & holidays as my family lives local as well. I have two pups, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a rescue pitbull. I spend my free time traveling with my spouse and our fur babies. I know what it’s like to worry about your pet at home, I’ll treat your baby like you would.

“Angela is amazing ❤️ I highly recommend her. She took such wonderful care of our Cat. I can see in the pictures she sent that our cat was happy. We will definitely be requesting Angela again. She really has a way with animals 💜”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and I now have over 18 years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and give their pets the same love and attention they would. I’m patient, responsible, and passionate about making every dog feel safe and happy. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2 PM for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. Also im at full time college student I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment where animals can relax and feel safe. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide lots of attention, and make sure they’re supervised at all times. I can also crate your dog if required.
About: I’ve done dog walking and drop in visits in the past working with dogs, small critters, and cats. I have about 2 years of experience with dog walking and drop in visits and haven’t had any complaints that I know of from the pet owners that I was working with. I understand the body language of both dogs and cats and I’m able to respect the pets boundaries and know how to access a situation. I also used to work at the animal shelter for a bit! Currently I don’t have a job other than Rover so I have the time to take care of your pets and my schedule is pretty open. I have 2 cats and I take care of them by feeding them wet food 2 times a day and dry food throughout the day and I also scoop their litter boxes and play with them. I’m very respectful of clients homes and respect the rules they have in place for their home because everyone’s care for their pets and homes are different.
“Pamela is truly the best! We reccomend her to every single petparent! She made us feel so welcome at the moment we met for a meet and greet. We knew right away, our dog Isla will be in great hands. She always responded very quickly and everything went super easy and also sent us pictures thru the day. We are extremely happy we found her and looking forward using her services in the future! Thank you Pam! We had a fun day! Love, Isla”

About: I grew up with dogs all of my life. We always had at least one dog and usually a cat growing up. My family and I now have 3 dogs- Cocker Spaniel, Bernedoodle, and a Beagle mix. We treat our dogs as family- humans. I consider them my children. I am a former foster for Tails, but unfortunately I had to give that up due to getting attached to them all. ❤️ *update- I’m fostering again! 🥰💕❤️ I am a stay at home mom to my 3 dogs! My 15, 12, and 6 year old are in school all day. I am home all day besides an occasional errand, school drop off/pickup, or an after school or weekend sporting event for my boys. My husband also has a flexible work schedule. In fact, I usually have him come along on meet & greets so that we can tag team visits if need be. We have a Petsafe invisible fence. If you have a Petsafe collar, then it should work at my home. Besides the Petsafe invisible fence, we have an extra long tie out in the backyard. We also have a fenced in area near the pool which is unavailable during pool season otherwise open. I recently put up a fenced area that is suitable for dogs that aren’t jumpers or strong. Our yard is about half an acre. I’m happy to walk a dog on a leash in the yard or around the neighborhood as well. We have a beautiful walking path nearby. I also love giving the option to pet owners for in home visits while they’re gone. Sometimes a pet is more content and comfortable in their own home. I’m happy to visit 3-4 times a day to provide some company, feed, and allow for potty breaks. It’s really a great option for many who don’t enjoy being boarded at a facility.
About: I have taken care of many dogs in my neighborhood for years. I had a German Shorthair Pinter I trained. I have had a umber of cats over the years. My dog now is 14 yes.! I am a retired teacher so I have the time to care for your dogs! I am available everyday. I do attend church on Sunday’s for 3 hours. Other wise I’m am home all day. First thing in the morning we are out the door for a walk around the neighborhood. We come the dogs have a fresh clean bowl of water and a treat. My dog eats around 12 o’clock. I feel his bowl up with his favorite dog food from blue buffalo. Second walk of the day is around noon outside around the neighborhood check in with some of the friends dogs and back home. We take a little nap around 2 o’clock and then back out for another walk around five. My dog gets another bowl full of blue buffalo. Sometimes he eats it and sometimes he waits and eats it later in the evening. We go out approximately between nine and 10 o’clock. The last of the day potty breaks. I try to keep the same schedule for the dogs so they know what they have to do when we go outside.
About: I work from home and am a fur baby mom to 2 dogs and a cat. Caring for pets comes naturally, I can hardly remember a time where dogs weren't a part of my life! I love them and love caring for them! My 2 pups are always eager to play with new friends too! I have a ranch style home with a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play! Of course, any special diets will be strictly adhered to provided you supply what is needed as well. From puppies to seniors, I will care for them all! Your pup is sure to feel the love in my home. Feel free to ask any questions. Hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! I work from home, so I'm available to let out pups for potty breaks or go on a short walk throughout the day. Treats are at the ready too! My pups are spoiled and receive lots of love and attention throughout the day, and so will yours! Can't wait to meet your fur baby!
About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. I enjoy the bond and training from the start. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom looking to start working again and thought this would be a great fit due to my passion with animals. I have a flexible schedule and am available to board most days. Dogs will be given love and attention, play, walks, really whatever they are into or owner needs. My own crew loves to swim in our pool, play frisbee or fetch the chuck-it. I have 3 custom built in crates that are massively oversized. I can keep dogs separate from my own or integrate. I absolutely love working with puppies and dogs and exposing them to new fun things!
About: When I was 7 years old I got my first puppy. His name was Jake, a baby lab. I trained him myself and raised him throughout his entire life. I have a natural affinity with animals. I am great at figuring out what my furry baby needs from me, I am also great at calming down irritable pups. My puppy passed 5 years ago due to health conditions and I instantly got two more. I now have two Australian shepherds who are very high energy and need a lot of love, play, and attention which I always provide top quality. I have also been relied on by friends and family countless times to take care of their puppies or all different kinds. Pictures of these beautifies can be found in my profile. I feed, walk, bathe, play, and much more with them, I know they always enjoy themselves and their owners are always greatfull and eager for me to watch them again. I have even taken care of peoples bunnies, reptiles, crustaceans, cats/kittens (I am allergic to cats so I am less likely to take them on). The dogs I have taken care of have been xs-xl sized so I can handle myself, even two animals at a time would be no problem. Currently, my schedule is very flexible as I am working with DoorDash where I get to schedule my own work times and days (based on the area and how busy it is). This allows me a lot of time to devote towards your furry baby! I work the most from 4-9:30pm on weekdays and weekends (primarily). Weekdays are more negotiable than weekends, as these are my only jobs currently. There will never be a time where I need to focus on both jobs simultaneously, any furry baby with me will have my undivided attention! My home is a very safe, clean, and organized environment. So, there will be no worry for any choking hazards, sharp objects, or hazardous foods/liquids in furry reach. That being said there is also a door that blocks off the kitchen area. If there is any specific housing instructions, I will cater to them to the best of my abilities!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, and lizards my whole life. I will spoil your pets based on what the owner allows me to do. I have an 11 year old Boxer who loves companion ship of all animals. Currently I am unemployed so pet care is my main focus. When I’m not taking care of my 11 y/o Boxer and 1 year old Bearded Dragon I’m looking up ways to make my animals more happy I will take dogs on walks at least 2 times a day and will take them to dog parks to run around. I have a 11 year old Boxer that will keep your dog company too. This household is cat friendly as well and will treat the cat like a king/queen that they believe they are.
“Thank you soooo much for the last minute daycare! You have a beautiful land! My dog is so happy and tired out yay! You guys are awesome will deff be booking again! Highly recommended!!”

About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Along the way, our household has grown and changed in ways I never expected. In 2023, one of my regular Rover pups (actually a senior pup) became a permanent part of our family. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. We understand how much your pets mean to you because we’ve experienced firsthand just how special that bond can be. Our promise is simple: we’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that we give our own. I work from home full time, so am able to provide your pup with all of the attention they deserve. They are free to run around in the fenced-in backyard and play at their fullest extent! Every pet owner has a different perspective on how to care for their pets. Some require a special routine for dinnertime or bedtime, while others require basic care with lots of love. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me by the owner…and I promise not to judge 😊

About: Hello, I'm a dog lover, of all breeds, big and small and everything in between. I truly believe that your precious canine/feline will be truly at home with me. Animals off all sizes and breeds are special to me and also to God. I know I have a couple less than desirable reviews, but they were total misunderstandings. Unfortunately they stay on my page which makes me so sad because it gives me great joy to be there and stand in the gap for these precious animals. I also watch caged pets. I am very flexible, available at a moments notice. I love all animals and do everything in my power to accommodate. I'm not perfect but I love all animals perfectly. Another chance appreciated!!
About: I have been taking care of dogs with my sister from this app, we watch dogs from our home, or we go to the persons house. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with my furry friends when ever someone needs me too :) I have a fenced yard, I do have two dogs one is a Siberian husky she is still young and my other one is a chihuahua.

“Kamron was so patient and flexible with me as I worked through some scheduling issues. She was very understanding when I made changes and she made herself available for me when I needed her. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I'm located in Sycamore, IL and am familiar with the surrounding area. I’ve been caring for dogs of all ages and sizes for most of my life, from puppies to senior sweethearts. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just plenty of cuddles, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I understand that each dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel right at home with me. Your dog will be treated like family—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs. On each visit I can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours, even overnight - whatever your fur baby needs. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give your pets the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve. I'm happy to spend a quick 30 minutes, a few hours, or overnight - whatever your fur babies need! Some holidays are available, but do fill up quickly. I will provide your pet with the same care and consideration that you do. I'll make sure they not only have their food, water, and bathroom breaks, but plenty of playtime, walks, and love on the schedule you wish them to have. Keeping their routine as close to normal is my goal while your pets are in my care.

Pet care fits naturally into my day—I like having something to look forward to, and spending time with animals is honestly one of my favorite parts of it. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and can't imagine a home without them! I’m new to Rover, but because I don't currently have a pet of my own, I have plenty of love, attention, and energy to give to yours. I've been a trusted dog sitter for friends and family for years, and I'm excited to meet even more through Rover! I believe pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection I'd want for my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra company while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve always found ways to get along with any animal! I don't currently hold a full-time job position, so I'm pretty flexible during the week for my schedule. I have other side jobs and am picking up shifts when I can, but I'm willing to move things around to suit what works best for you and your pet. I am able to host one dog at a time in my home for certain periods of time. I do not have any other animals living in my home, so there would be no interactions with any other dog while in my home. I also have a fenced in backyard so your dog is always in my view and very safe. The rest of my family members are also huge dog lovers, so while I would be the caretaker, your dog is able to experience all the love my home has to offer. I am sure to follow all directions as needed regarding your pet in my house or yours. I'm very detail-oriented and sometimes a perfectionist, so following instructions to ensure your dogs health and safety is something you don't have to worry about with me!
About: I grew up with pets my entire life and have always loved having a furry companion around! I am excited to take care of your best friend while you are away! I enjoy taking the dogs for walks and hikes near Denver, especially around red rocks! I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule to fit all of your pets needs! I can be available days nights and weekends. I have a large fenced yard and a doggy door for my two fur babies. We kennel our puppy when we are away but our senior dog is allowed to do as he wishes. I feel that it is important to always follow all instructions given by the owner as all pets are unique.
About: I had family pets throughout my childhood that I would help take care of. Now, I have 2 dogs of my own! they are both two years old and have a ton of energy. About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I recently just left a data entry job, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I love animals more than people so they are going to fit perfectly into my daily routine. I would spend time with your pet as much as you’d like! I love spending time with animals whether that’s playing with them, giving them pets, going on walks or just being next to them giving them company!
