About: I have lived and cared for a dogs for the last 10 years, and now have a pup of my own. I’d love to help out with your animals especially if I can bring my high energy Australian shepherd along for the fun! I’m in Snoqualmie and have a flexible schedule at the moment. I’m currently looking for my next full time role so have more time for caring for pets at the moment. I exercise my puppy once or twice a day so adding another companion would be fun. We have a partially fenced in yard at the moment so the dog will need to be leashed while in the yard. We use an electric fence for our pup.

About: I’ve been helping care for animals since I was a kid. I grew up with an amazing and loving black lab, Jesse, in my home, who I loved dearly and sadly lost to a heart attack when he was just 10. Since then, I’ve helped care for countless dogs, cats, horses and lots of other critters. I believe in pet care that is just as dedicated and intentional as people care :) My experience ranges from basic care of healthy cats and dogs of all ages (feeding, playing, exercising, snuggling, etc.) to administering medication and providing special care for aging cats and dogs. I also have experience caring for animals with medical conditions and special needs. I am a highly sensitive and intuitive care taker, and your animal’s comfort and safety are my top priority always. Most of all, I truly just love being around animals and providing them with a happy, healthy environment. I can’t wait to help care for your critters! I’m a full-time writer and artist from the Snoqualmie Valley. I work from home with a flexible hours, so I can work around just about any schedule. I’m also a morning person, so early morning animal care is not an issue. I take pet safety very seriously. I’m very vigilant about knowing where your animals are at all times, making sure they don’t get into hazards and, of course, making sure they have all the food, treats, toys and attention they need. For anyone interested in having me cat sit at my home, I have a calm, quiet apartment with no other housemates or animals. My landlord lives on the same property and has a high-energy corgi who does not enter my home so that I can maintain a cat-safe space :)

About: Dogs have always been a part of my family. But I love all animals. I have pet sat for several family friends so I am used to adapting to animal needs. Whether it be a dog, cat, or fish, I am happy to provide care and entertainment to your pet. Currently I am in grad school so I do have some classes, however there is a lot of availability in my schedule especially if you are looking for furry friend to go on a late afternoon walk. If I am in a client’s home I will always make sure to either have your pet on a leash or in a fenced in area, depending on permissions. My go to is follow the owner’s instructions, and if something comes up I will ask or take the safest option (ie leash always while outside). If a client’s pet is to stay with me, I do have a small dog park I can take them to.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all different ages, personalities, and needs. I’ve cared for seniors, special-needs pets, anxious animals, and pets who need oral medications or a little extra patience. I’m big on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — meals, walks, medications, playtime, bedtime, and all the little things they’re used to at home. Some pets want to be attached to your hip, while others need time and space to warm up, and I’m happy to let them set the pace. I have two cats of my own and have had cats throughout my life, so I’m very comfortable with cat care as well as dogs. I’m used to everything from easygoing pets to the stubborn, mischievous, and “will absolutely eat that if you turn around for two seconds” variety. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll pay attention to your instructions, keep you updated, and make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I spend most of my free time at home and have a pretty flexible routine, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime and company. We always start the day with a morning walk before I head to work, and I’m usually home by 3pm for the rest of the afternoon and evening. When I’m not home, my husband usually is, so there’s typically someone around to keep an eye on things and give your pet some company. I can sometimes accommodate short-notice requests, and I live right next to two parks in a safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. My home is kept pretty pet-safe — my two cats are professional troublemakers, so they’ve made sure we don’t leave much out that curious pets can get into. It’s just my husband and me at home, so there aren’t lots of unfamiliar people coming and going. We have a fully fenced backyard, and the house is mostly hardwood and tile, so scratches, muddy paws, and normal pet messes aren’t something I stress about. If your pet needs their own space, they can also have an entire room to themselves for a quiet, comfortable place to relax.

You will also receive daily photo and video updates. Your pets happiness is my happiness. Your pets are my only commitment. I took early retirement and can build my own schedule. I am capable of working with last minute plans and getaways, including weekends and holidays. I will never leave your pets outside unattended. I know what can happen when people are distracted. Always greatly aware of animals jumping on and off of furniture and going down stairs. My lab who was the greatest love of my life tore her acl just going down 3 steps. I make myself very aware of the surrounding and dangers that could happen.
