About: I’ve grown in a pet friendly home and always had a dog at home. My current dog, Magic is a ladradoodle. He is a FULLY TRAINED CGC CERTIFIED DOG. I enjoy taking him for walks, cuddling him and playing with him. I would have love to have more dogs but with the travel that we normally do doesn’t look practical. Hence, thought I could fulfil that dream by boarding/walking other dogs plus Magic would have a friend to play with every now and then. My routine easily allows me to board or walk the dog. I do take my dog on walks twice daily and will be able to take your dog too at the same time I have a fenced yard and a very playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I could easily crate the dog if need be or let them play out in the backyard Daycare timing : 9am to 6:00pm (+-30min) Boarding : 24hours , pickup and drop off timing between 9am to 6:30pm

About: Not only do I believe that dog is a man’s best friend – I also know for a fact that dogs are a girl’s best friend. I am the proud mom of Alice (a miniature poodle) and her “wiggle-worm body”. She is now a senior dog so I have a LOT of experience with them. I also have a terrier named Mia who is 6. Dogs give you unconditional love, all the attention you could need and a wonderful sense of purpose. Pets have always been a part of my life and I love all dogs – big and small. To me, pets have always been a part of my family. It’s important to me to have someone reliable and trustworthy take care of Alice while I am traveling and I strive to do the same for others. You should be able to rest assured while you are away that your furry family members are well taken care of. I take extra time to get to know your pet and develop a relationship with them (and you!). I want to ensure that your dog is not only well loved while you are away but that you return to a happy and healthy pup. I have been a pet sitter for years now - taking care of friends and families pets while they are away. I am experienced in taking care of young and old dogs as well as maintaining your obedience training requirements. Why I love dog sitting For my whole life! My family has always had dogs and all sorts of animals. I've grown up with a love for all things furry. I have lots of experience in training dogs and have done so since I was a kid. My experience administering medication Not a problem. I have to give this daily to my own pups. I work from home most of the week but I do go into the office on Tuesday and Thursday. I am normally gone those days from 8:30am to 4:00. The rest of the time I will be there for walks and snuggles all day. I dont take dogs at my house because of my senior dog but I would love to come to your so it is less stress on your babies!

About: Took care of my neighbors dogs as a teen and continued taking care of acquaintances dogs and cats for the last few years. I have taken care of my own 2 rabbits, cat, and dogs. I have taken care of senior dogs who need special care and have experience with dogs with aggression. I work Wednesday to Sunday in the early morning, (off at noon) so I have time throughout the afternoon and weekends to care for your pets. I respect client privacy and take care of their pets in the way they desire. If that includes scooping litter in the bathroom or playing with their pup out in the backyard that is what I’ll do. All up to your preference.

About: You won’t find a more loving “Airbnb” for your canine family! We are having so much fun supporting your dogs needs, learning about different breeds and personalities of our various rover pups. I think we fall in love with almost all of them! I absolutely love dogs! Sadly in October of 2024 my dog of 15 years passed away. We are ready and available to love and support your pup while you are away. It can be stressful having you fur baby go to a new place; rest assured they are in loving and capable hands. We strive to ensure the adjustment to a new place is as easy as possible on your pet. We generally only take 2 pets at a time so there is plenty of time and energy to ensure your pet gets all the love, care, exercise and attention they need! We have been enjoying caring for your pets so much the past year with Rover. Preference for dogs who are good with other dogs, house trained and medium energy requirements. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit! I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule and my partner is an animal lover who works from home. We currently have no pets living in the home so plenty of space and time for your family member! We do have a 7 and 4 year old who also love having doggies around and are realllllly adapted to ensuring your pet is safe, loved and they help so much with play time!! We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space for walks with the parks and trails being close to our home (which we enjoy frequently), Lots of spare toys and energetic and disciplined children to keep them busy! We are ready to support any and all needs your pet may have.

Cynthia has been fantastic, and I’m so grateful to have found her. She is reliable, caring, and always goes above and beyond for our pets. What really stands out is her willingness to help when unexpected situations come up—she has even made special last-minute trips to walk our dogs when we’ve been unexpectedly pulled away from home. It gives us tremendous peace of mind knowing our pets are in such capable and compassionate hands. I highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated pet sitter or dog walker.

About: I LOVE dogs of all types, especially medium to large breeds that love to walk. I have owned multiple dogs at one time and we live in a great location, by the river with lots of trails & dog friendly walking terrain. We have a fully fenced yard with lots of room to roam, allowing for frisbee & ball play time keeping the pups & humans engaged. Your fur friend will not be alone & we will offer free pets, walks & play time, as we have a pup as well who is Mr. Social! I’m currently working part time as a fitness coach close by & sub teacher & generally home most of the time. I love medium to large dogs, but just recently lost our 17 year old little dog. I have a fully fenced yard and always monitor our dogs outside. Inside, we use a fenced off area to keep dogs out of kitchen & downstairs. I prefer no dogs on furniture and up to date on vaccines.

About: Growing up, my family welcomed many rescued animals into our home, from a beagle mix and a golden retriever to a Jack Russell terrier, turtle, guinea pig, bunny, and even a horse. My love for animals inspired me to start pet sitting for friends and family in high school, giving me experience caring for a variety of pets, including pit bulls, greyhounds, golden retrievers, Australian shepherds, and cats. Kaiti is a freelance photographer who works from home, which allows her plenty of time to visit, walk, and shower your pets with love. Quixem, her partner, is a journalist for KING 5 by day and joins her for overnight pet sitting. While Quixem is allergic to cats, Kaiti can still check in on your feline friends and keep them entertained whenever needed. When caring for pets in my home or my client's home, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment to ensure pets feel secure and happy. I make sure to understand each pet’s unique needs and routines, from feeding schedules to favorite activities, so I can provide care tailored specifically to them. Building trust with pets and their owners is essential to me. I offer meet-and-greets before any new sitting arrangement to allow pets to get comfortable with me. For each stay, I send regular updates, photos, and notes on how your pet is doing, so you feel connected and reassured. My goal is to make you feel confident that your pet is in caring, capable hands.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, trained service puppies in college, trained horses for 10 years, love animals, and love exercise. Whatever your 4-legged needs I can do it! Walk or run we’ll have a great time. I am a full time student but working online, so I have a flexible schedule to make time for walks. No more than an hour at a time please. The animals have always come first in my life. I know enough from my time with my own animals to spot injuries, read emotions, and how to react to every situation.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
