“Carrie was the great! My dog Franklin is just over a year and has a lot of energy so I was a little nervous leaving him for the first time but Carrie took him on walks and Franklin and her dog played which helped get his energy out. Carrie was very responsive through the app and sent me photos throughout the day and assured me that he was fine. I would absolutely recommend Carrie and plan to rebook with her next time I need a dog sitter!!!”

“We have boarded our dog Ella with Lourdez and her family on multiple occasions. Lourdez always takes great care of our dog, ensures she gets outside for walks or hikes, and treats her as part of the family. She sends frequent updates and communications are easy. We are very happy to have Lourdez as our sitter!”

“The best! Cynthia cared for my dog as if he were her own, keeping me updated with thoughtful insights throughout. Really appreciate her level of effort and thoughtfulness! Highly recommend!”

“We can't say enough wonderful things about Lisa. We are so happy to have found a great companion for our sweet boy, who loves him just as her own. Lisa always goes above and beyond to make sure her special furry boarders are well taken care of, loved, and engaged during their stay. Thank you again Lisa for the wonderful care you gave to Odin.”

“Sammy must have had a great time at their place, as he was super tired at the end of the day and slept through whole night without any more play time or treats. Note: Sammy is a high energy dog and doesn’t get tired easily. He does 4-5 mile walks everyday and still needs more play time. Another thing to note about Sammy: he has a tendency to mark at new places. We specifically gave bellybands with him. But somehow they managed to keep him off bellybands and off marking their place. Which is amazing! Sammy will definitely visit them again many times, and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Xiaoshan & Xiuli for taking care of Sammy!”

“Hyeyoung and her family took great care of George! She sent great updates each day about George. Her photos are amazing! She made George look like a vogue doggy. I will 100% be rebooking with her!”

“Chris was friendly from meet/greet to accommodating our request for an extra day to extend our trip. He shared daily pictures and updates during Jax's stay. Would absolutely recommend and use Chris again in the future!”

“Andreea and her family are wonderful! We left Bentley for 3 nights and I wasn’t a bit worried (even though this was the first time boarding him with Andreea). We received pictures of their day - Mod, Starbucks. Bentley looked so happy!”

“I was so incredibly happy and thankful for the care Silvia and her family gave my dog, Rail. More importantly, Rail was happy tired and smiling for the entire evening after I picked him up. He enjoyed his stay and loved the back yard time and walks. Thank you so much. I will certainly be rebooking.”

“My dog Miles had a great stay! I ended up booking much more last minute for the Christmas holiday than I expected, and luckily, Chloe was available and accommodating. Miles instantly bonded with Chloe and her family, and loved getting all the pets and attention from the kiddos. I know he enjoyed getting playtime with another dog guest (since he’s the only dog at home) and more walks than usual. Chloe was a great communicator and kept us up to date with photos and videos throughout the stay. I almost want to book a trip just to have Miles stay at her house again 😂”

“Amanda and Eric were wonderful sitters and caregivers to our lil pup! We had the chance to do a meet and greet, where our doggo met the family and gathered up all the sniffs (😂) . They communicated great, shared over frequent phone photos and took amazing care of our pup. 100% will be booking again!”

“If there were more than 5 stars I would select them all. I cannot recommend her enough! She took incredible care of Loki and truly treated him like royalty. Not only did she make sure he got plenty of walks and attention, but she also groomed him and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. What I appreciated most was her excellent communication. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Loki, and I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-loved pup. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Wendy and her family were amazing pet sitters. They took incredible care of our dog Leo for a 2 week stay. She even took him to the vet when he had an ear infection and sent me photos throughout his stay. I highly recommend Wendy and I will have our dog stay here again.”

“Zankhana was absolutely wonderful! Our dog got several walks every day, and we received lots of photos and updates throughout his stay. It was so reassuring to know he was happy and well taken care of. We already booked its next stay! 🐾❤️”

“Heather is amazing. Responds very fast and sends updates daily. Couldn’t have felt more comfortable with her watching my special needs dog. Will definitely book again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“We are so glad to have found Lexi! It was wonderful to be able to enjoy our vacation with complete confidence that Sawyer was having his own fun - and was also completely safe in Lexi's care. Daily photos and updates were much appreciated. We came home to a very happy, well exercised and CLEAN pup. ? We can't say enough good things about Lexi!”

“We left Luka with john during a long 4 week trip out of the country. We were initially a little apprehensive because this was the first time we were out for so long but John quickly put our worries at ease by sending us regular updates and photos. John was very thoughtful about all the little details and Luka seemed truly happy and comfortable.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Snoqualmie
This was our first time using a pet sitter, and we could not have been luckier than finding Aletya. From the moment we met her, we could feel how caring and loving her environment was. Her two dogs and ours hit it off immediately, and the level of detail she went into before and during drop‑off was incredible. While we were on our trip, she sent daily updates and photos — which our kids absolutely loved. On top of that, our pup had an incident the day before drop‑off, and Aletya stepped up without hesitation. She handled the medication, kept everything on schedule, and somehow made it fun for our dog every single day. Our furry baby had a wonderful time, and we always felt she was being treated like part of Aletya’s own family. At pick‑up, she even shared helpful recommendations for toys and routines that work well for her dogs — and we’ve already adopted them at home. We 100% recommend Aletya for your pet‑sitting needs. She is simply amazing, and your pet will be in a truly loving, attentive, and caring home.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
