“Tessa was super helpful with our cat Sophie while we were out of town for a few days. She even went above and beyond to help our chickens, which wasn’t a part of her booking, when a bobcat was spotted. She’s friendly, responsive, and caring.”

“This was my first time using Rover for my new puppy and Elizabeth was amazing. From our meet & greet to the day of the drop-in, she was so kind, highly responsive, and followed my instructions to a T! I look forward to rebooking and highly recommend Elizabeth.”

“Such great communication. Willing to fit us in on short notice. Showed up as promised. Kind. Warm. Helps to ease my anxiety for a longer Housesitting visit we booked since this is our first experience with Jenn!”

“Mindy dropped in to care for our little pups. They were very flexible in doing a quick meet & greet, communicated great and our pups warmed right up to them! 5/5 - will be booking again!”

About: I'm a compassionate dog-sitter who is dedicated to the care and happiness of your pup. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Your dog's weekend getaway will include endless cuddles and attention, and multiple walks or fetch sessions. I will accommodate your regular walking and feeding routine including administering medication. I will be taking only one dog at a time to ensure quality time, and only sitting on the weekends when I'm not working so I can give your dog my full attention.
About: I have experience with my current dog after going through several months of behavioral training as a puppy. I also have experience with senior dogs and cats growing up at my parents home. I also know how to administer medicine both orally and through ear medicine for cats. During the week, early mornings, late afternoons and evenings are best. On the weekends, late afternoons and evenings are best. With enough time, I can accommodate noon appointments. Feeding, outside time, cleaning litter box, and playing/exercise time will all be standard, but it depends on the needs of the cat. I can also administer medicine as well. If boarding at my own home, dogs will have a fenced yard for exercise.
“I was pleased with the dog sitting services we received for our dogs. The sitter kept us updated throughout the two days with frequent photo updates and great communication. I was confident that our pups were in good hands and would definitely use this sitter again in the future.”

“Absolutely amazing! Always sends updates and might be a cat whisperer! Our super shy cat liked her instantly, and she diligently made sure our kitty got her medication at each feeding.”

“After searching high and low for a new pet sitter for my dog, I’m so thankful I found Cynthia! She quickly picked up on what my dog’s quirks are and how best to work with him. I feel comfortable and happy knowing my dog has a friend looking in on him during the day. He’s well taken care of!”
“Reagan is wonderful! While we were out of town for ten days, Reagan did two drop in visits a day with our two boy cats. She was so loving and attentive to them. She’s super detail oriented with their routines and was up for dealing with all their cat quirks. She played with them every visit and sent us the most fun pictures and updates each time! Both cats, even our very shy guy, clearly loved hanging out with her. We so appreciate Reagan’s help with our little guys. We will definitely book again!”

“Trinity did an excellent job taking care of our boy Sokka. He always looked so happy in her company in the photos, and we came home to a cat that wasn't entirely mad at us for being away as a result. Trinity also did a great job with his feeding and medicine schedule, and was great at keeping us informed and communicating. Would definitely book with Trinity again!”

About: Hey there! My name is Matt and I am 32 years old. I have graduated from Washington State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. While in college, I loved volunteering at the nearby Humane Society and spending time with the dogs as I missed mine back home very much. I am familiar with a variety of dog breeds, as they have been a part of my life since I was a kid. As far as my interests and hobbies, I love to stay active by participating in sports, yoga, running, hiking, anything that gets me moving. I thoroughly enjoy dog walking and/or taking them on a run depending on what your dog prefers. My schedule is very flexible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting you and your pet 🙂 My schedule remains flexible, I usually walk anytime after 10am. If you need in home services or house/dog sitting, I can provide that as well. The only service I can't provide is overnights at my own residence, other than that I'm open to pretty much any opportunities 👍 Typically I won't house pets at my residence, I could provide this service for short periods of time and no overnights. However, I do have a small yard that is fenced in.
About: I have learned a lot about taking care of animals over the years from growing up with 3 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens. These were my parents pets however, I cared for them on many occasions and now I have a cat of my own who I adopted last year. I make sure she gets plenty of play time and exercise every day, she also has all of her vaccines, is very friendly, eats good and goes to the vet regularly. I love animals and taking care of them is one of my passions. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of free time to love and care for your pets! I am fully available Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays as well as Tuesdays and Saturday evenings, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. I make sure all the pets I care for get lots of love and attention. I also make sure dogs get lots of exercise and fresh air outside, I love to go for walks and would love to take your dog for a long walk or play around at the dog park.
About: I share my home with 18 pets of my own, so I have experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and care needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've owned both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting for over 3 years. I’m currently a college student taking online courses, meaning I have a super flexible schedule and can easily accommodate to your pet’s specific needs. Animals are always the center of my life, so I build my days around their care, comfort, and happiness. Every pet has their own personality and needs. I tailor my care to match each animal’s routine in order to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and help them feel relaxed. I focus on building trust with each pet to create a safe and stress free experience.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Snoqualmie
Darcie was fantastic! She came by in the afternoon’s to help us with our elderly dog when we were out of town on vacation. Darcie even went above and beyond as our house lost power for several hours during the winter and she took our dog with her to help keep him warm. Highly recommend Darcie and we will definitely use her again if she is available in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
