About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own! An Australian Cattle Dog Mix, a Basenji mix, and a working line large breed German Shepherd, which I helped train in obedience to be an SD. My dogs always had scheduled potty breaks and playtime. My job is to make sure your pet has the best time while keeping boundaries/respecting their space, ensuring their safety, and following your expectations of care. I am comfortable with any amount of shedding and the size of your pet. I can especially ease my interaction with pets that are scared and anxious, as through training my own dog, I am better at picking up the dog’s body language and only engage in physical contact if the pet’s body language consents. If you have an aggressive pet, please notify me beforehand. I do not guarantee I will agree to care for them, but I am interested in scheduling a first meeting if possible. Note: I do not drink/smoke, so your loved one will never be affected by second-hand smoke or inappropriate behavior. I am very available on the weekends and by the afternoon on weekdays. If you need morning care, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! My pets are routinely groomed and freshened. Everytime they come inside after heavy play, I clean their body from head to toe with pet friendly wipes. I use a brush that helps with shedding and smoothing out hair. Their teeth gets brushed every 2 weeks. I check their ears for dirt routinely and the inside of their paws for any injuries or cracking from dryness.

Trai took great care of our anxious dog while we were away for the weekend! He provided updates and pictures throughout and followed our directions to a tee. Our dog clearly feels very comfortable with Trai, which is something that isn't a given for us. We're using Trai again for a trip next month!
Samantha helped us with our furballs in a pinch and took excellent care of our 2 cats and 1 dog. Our dog is newer to the family so we don’t have all the answers to some of his quirks yet but she took it in stride. She sent lots of great updates and pictures that made me feel much better about our situation. She also took great care of the house and went above and beyond with some of the extra touches. We will definitely be booking with Samantha again if we can!
Cam was absolutely brilliant! She took wonderful care of our three senior dogs and kitty, including keeping up with daily medications and, just as importantly, paying close attention to their individual needs, routines, and cues. When our flight was cancelled, Cam truly came to our rescue by staying an extra day. Knowing our furry little retirement village was in such capable hands made a stressful situation considerably easier. We can’t recommend Cam highly enough. She was attentive, dependable, caring, and went above and beyond for us and our furry clan. We will absolutely ask her back—assuming, of course, she’s willing to subject herself to this lot again. Geoff was fantastic with our dog while we were away on a two-week international vacation. Before our trip, he took the time to come to our home for a meet-and-greet, asked thoughtful questions, and made it clear that he wanted to keep her routine as normal and comfortable as possible. We love receiving updates, and Geoff went above and beyond by sending multiple photos each day, along with detailed and entertaining updates about the great time they were having. Therese did a fabulous job watching our pups. She was very responsible, and kept us updated during the whole trip. Most importantly, she was able to stay an extra night, when our flights were cancelled. It was a great relief knowing our dogs were being so well looked after.
Madison is magnificent! She was very patient with our needy deaf pup and took the time to learn his hand signals. She played ball, took him for walks, and cuddled on the couch. Our house was spotless when we returned. Madison was very accommodating to our schedule and quickly responded to our texts. We recommend her 100%.
Zoe was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is thorough, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. She cared for our dog and two cats for five days, managing medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all of their daily routines with great attention to detail.
