About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

As the owner of a reactive 20lb dog (which my boyfriend stays with when I dog sit) who fluctuates between needing cuddles and needing alone time, I don’t just love dogs, I feel that I understand them. I’ve spent years learning to read the subtle body language that tells me when a dog is overwhelmed, in need of reassurance, or just needs a quiet corner to decompress. Because of my experience, I specialize in the "slow melt." If your pup is shy or moody, I don’t force interaction. My go to move is sitting on the floor and letting them come to me on their terms. Whether it’s a well placed treat (diet permitting) or simply offering a calm, "zen" presence, I let your dog set the pace for our friendship. What you can expect: Small Dog Expertise: Growing up with a 5lb toy poodle and now raising a 20lb pup, I’m well versed in the "big personalities" and specific needs of tiny pups. Respect for Your Space: When dog sitting in your home, I am quiet and respectful. I provide a calm environment for your pet, but I’m always ready to transition into full play mode if they have the energy to burn! Safety First: Because I know how flighty anxious dogs can be, I am hyper vigilant about security, harnesses, and environment control. Reading the Room: Whether your dog is a "sassy" soul with a big attitude or a quiet wallflower, I know exactly when to give them space and when to provide the affection they crave. I’m here to give your dog a stress-free experience and give you total peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet your sassy or shy best friend! I work from home and can be there for your pup for any day and any time! If I am sitting I will spend all of my time on your couch with your pup while I’m working and will be available for mid day or morning walks along with afternoon! Because I have a dog of my own at home, I only dog sit in the dog’s home! I am a bit of a “neat freak” and will ensure your home is nice and tidy for you to relax and spend time with your pup when you return!

About: Hi my name is Julia, I am 25 years old living in Pittsburgh, PA. For all 25 years I have lived, I have been surrounded by animals. I grew up with three dogs, who I care for deeply. We also had a neighborhood cat who I really consider a part of the family! I have spent countless time caring for the pets of family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even my hairdresser! I can confidently say that I have formed great bonds and a sense of trust with all pets I have watched! This care ranges from cats to dogs, senior to puppies (currently). I truly love animals and constantly want to be surrounded by them. Being a 25 year old in a city away from your family and pets can be tough, so I hope that this opportunity can help me while I await having my own cat one day (hopefully soon!) I currently work full-time, but I work primarily from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I typically go into the office just one day per week, and if I need to be there more often, it's usually only for a half day. My schedule can vary depending on work needs, but I have the flexibility to accommodate pet care throughout the day and will always communicate my availability clearly. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I take the time to follow your instructions closely and keep their schedule as consistent as possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, meals, and lots of love. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I always prioritize a safe, stress-free environment. I also believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: I had my own dog walking business in my neighborhood of Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh where I live, where I would walk the dogs around my neighborhood. In high school I volunteered at doggie daycare taking care of the dogs, cleaning up after the dogs, playing with the dogs, and cleaning anything that needed to be clean. Plus I have always had a dog in my life growing up so I am comfortable around them. I am reliable, responsible, dependable, always on time, hardworking and flexible. I love being around dogs and I will treat your pet like they are my own. I am also a fellow dog mom to a white Lab/Mix named Luna I currently work an early morning shift at a doggie daycare from 6-2 so I'm done by 2pm or sooner during the week and I'm off on weekends too I can easily crate your dog if needed or let them out in the backyard as well whatever they need and I can take them to their favorite places too
