About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

Heather is an A+ sitter! Our home and cats were in great hands while we were on an 8 day international trip. Heather checked in every day to let me know how the boys were doing, and left everything exactly the way we left it. She also helped with making sure the trash got put out and other household things. Kiley house-sat my two dogs for three nights while I was out of state, and I couldn’t have been happier with her care! Cam was absolutely brilliant! She took wonderful care of our three senior dogs and kitty, including keeping up with daily medications and, just as importantly, paying close attention to their individual needs, routines, and cues. When our flight was cancelled, Cam truly came to our rescue by staying an extra day. Knowing our furry little retirement village was in such capable hands made a stressful situation considerably easier. We can’t recommend Cam highly enough. She was attentive, dependable, caring, and went above and beyond for us and our furry clan. We will absolutely ask her back—assuming, of course, she’s willing to subject herself to this lot again. Geoff was fantastic with our dog while we were away on a two-week international vacation. Before our trip, he took the time to come to our home for a meet-and-greet, asked thoughtful questions, and made it clear that he wanted to keep her routine as normal and comfortable as possible. He arrived prepared and early on the day we left, which made our departure completely stress-free. We love receiving updates, and Geoff went above and beyond by sending multiple photos each day, along with detailed and entertaining updates about the great time they were having. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. Geoff also took excellent care of our home and left everything clean and exactly as he found it. This is the third time we have had Faux watch our dog, Geo and the longest stay yet (1 week). Our dog is like our child and I was so nervous to trust anyone other than a family member to watch him while we are gone— however, Faux is communicative, obviously loves and cares greatly for animals, and leaves my mind at ease. Geo seems to feel safe and happy with them which is the best outcome I could hope for! I would recommend Faux without hesitation and am so happy we found someone going forward!
