About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.
“Mariah was awesome! She sent me pictures of my pups daily. I felt so confident they were in good hands! She left my house clean. Like she was not even there. Thanks so much Mariah!!”

“Heather has watched my doggie and cat 2x. They are great, sends me lots of pictures and updates. Keeps the house super clean. Simply the best.”

“Flannery was exceptional with my dog, Crosby! She made sure to keep me updated with pictures and messages while I was gone and was very attentive to Crosby during her time with him. Highly recommend!”

“Kennedy was awesome. She was there for us when we had to book last minute because the person who was supposed to watch our dog bailed unexpectedly. She was receptive, considerate, kind, and communicative. I should mention that our baby is an English Bulldog. Kennedy understands the different needs of brachiocephalic breeds. And she was able to go that extra mile for us to properly care for our fur baby!”

“Milica took excellent care of our quirky and sometimes inscrutable greyhound, Bonnie, while we were away on vacation. She was extremely patient and attentive to all of Bonnie’s needs, administered her medications, and kept her on a great routine. She also went the extra mile and took care of some things around the house, which was a great help. Milica is a great communicator, and I am so deeply appreciate of her kindness and consideration (toward both humans and animals!) If you are picky about who stays with your pet, don’t hesitate to book Milica!”

“Gabrielle took great care of our cats and was in constant communication with us about how they were doing, including cleaning up a plant that one had knocked over. She also sent lots of pictures which was appreciated.”

“David was incredible. My dog is high strung and high anxiety with a lot quirks. He was excellent and patient. Total professional. He even left my place in perfect condition.”

“Isabella was great with our two dogs and cat. She kept us updated every day, cared for all the animals, and kept them happy and healthy until we returned! Will be using her again in the future!”

“Cam went above and beyond to comfort our dog during 4th of July fireworks! Our dog was well taken care of, and clearly felt comfortable with Cam.”

About: I've been trusted to take care of others' pets and children since I was 12 years old. As a reliable, positive, and calm pet sitter, I will ensure your pet gets the love, care, and attention they deserve! I'm new to the area, but prior to moving, I was regularly asked to pet/house sit via word of mouth recommendations and repeat clients. Between my own dogs and cats and those I've sat for, I have experience with a variety of ages, from 8 weeks old to elderly, as well as a variety of breeds, needs, and social levels. I especially love working with puppies despite the amount of work they are; a simple repetitive routine of potty, eat, potty, play/train, potty, crate, makes a world of difference (trust me - I've learned the hard way). If you're a new puppy parent, I'd be thrilled to be a part of your pup's development! Growing up, I experienced the amazing love of three dogs and two cats (plus one hamster and countless fish) in my household. Now, as an adult, I'm a very proud dog mom to our almost-3-year-old Australian Shepherd named Ekko (short for Ekko-location Sly Rover Fantastic Bruce). We adopted him at 12 weeks old from an accidental litter, and he's added such joy and fulfillment to our lives. He might be my biggest pet resume boost. He is a wicked smart, high energy dude who requires a lot of structure and attention to thrive, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He gets daily training, puzzles, walks, crate time, scratches, and snuggles. As a full-time grad student with extra time on my hands, I would love to put that same amount of energy towards your furry friends - and if Ekko gets to benefit too by making a new friend, well that'd be the cherry on top! I'm a full-time grad student with a few evening classes a week. Outside of that, my schedule is flexible, and I'm available to care for your pet any time. I want your pet to feel calm and confident no matter where I'm caring for them. I'm always respectful of your pets routines and personality. Some pets are nonstop goofballs and some are shy and sleepy, so I give them as much space or play time as they'd like! With every service I provide, I would never make assumptions about your pet without your approval, from foods they can eat to places they can go. Trusting someone else with your pet is a big deal, and it can be nerve-wracking for your pet too! To ensure I'm a good fit for you and your pet, and in order to provide the best care possible, I will request a Meet and Greet before beginning service. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns before then!

“Absolutely amazing! Nikki surpassed every hope I had for a dog sitter. My dog Charlie was absolutely the happiest dog. She sent pictures and videos and he was so well taken care of. I will would recommend her to absolutely everyone”

“This is my second time booking Autumn to stay in my home to take care of my dog and cat. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! My pets got plenty of love and hugs. Autumn was very responsive and made me feel as ease being away from home.”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was little. I can walk, bathe, feed, or just be there for your pet. I’m very good with dogs but also have experience with smaller pets as well. I currently do have a full time job but I’m super flexible outside that. I’m free pretty much every weekend and can easily help out during the evening as well I will remain vigilante in watching and caring for your pet and in following any rules or guidelines you provide. I’m always happy to show lots of love and affection too of course

“Cole was punctual, communicative and responsive. The animals looked happy and well taken care of when we returned! Will be reaching out again next time we need someone to watch them!”

“Olivia was absolutely amazing with my little pit mix Cyliah. She was polite and professional, easily got past the excitement of the first meeting and my dog was well cared for, including potty breaks, medication, meals and cuddles. I was provided updates and pictures while I was away and my dog was all smiles.”

About: My focus is entirely on keeping your pup’s routine predictable and stress-free. As the owner of a reactive 20lb dog (which my boyfriend stays with when I dog sit) who fluctuates between needing cuddles and needing alone time, I don’t just love dogs, I feel that I understand them. I’ve spent years learning to read the subtle body language that tells me when a dog is overwhelmed, in need of reassurance, or just needs a quiet corner to decompress. Because of my experience, I specialize in the "slow melt." If your pup is shy or moody, I don’t force interaction. My go to move is sitting on the floor and letting them come to me on their terms. Whether it’s a well placed treat (diet permitting) or simply offering a calm, "zen" presence, I let your dog set the pace for our friendship. What you can expect: Small Dog Expertise: Growing up with a 5lb toy poodle and now raising a 20lb pup, I’m well versed in the "big personalities" and specific needs of tiny pups. Respect for Your Space: When dog sitting in your home, I am quiet and respectful. I provide a calm environment for your pet, but I’m always ready to transition into full play mode if they have the energy to burn! Safety First: Because I know how flighty anxious dogs can be, I am hyper vigilant about security, harnesses, and environment control. Reading the Room: Whether your dog is a "sassy" soul with a big attitude or a quiet wallflower, I know exactly when to give them space and when to provide the affection they crave. I’m here to give your dog a stress-free experience and give you total peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet your sassy or shy best friend! I work from home and can be there for your pup for any day and any time! If I am sitting I will spend all of my time on your couch with your pup while I’m working and will be available for mid day or morning walks along with afternoon! Because I have a dog of my own at home, I only dog sit in the dog’s home! I am a bit of a “neat freak” and will ensure your home is nice and tidy for you to relax and spend time with your pup when you return!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Undercliff
Danielle was great with Brick! She communicated really well from the start and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet, which made me feel confident leaving him in her care. While I was away, she sent regular updates and photos, and it was clear that Brick was comfortable and being well taken care of. I also felt completely comfortable having Danielle in my home. She was reliable, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure Brick was happy and cared for. I would definitely recommend her and would be happy to have her watch Brick again!

Heather is an A+ sitter! Our home and cats were in great hands while we were on an 8 day international trip. Heather checked in every day to let me know how the boys were doing, and left everything exactly the way we left it. She also helped with making sure the trash got put out and other household things. Our cats were happy and healthy, and our home was safe and clean while we were gone. I’m so grateful for Heather and would 100% ask her to stay again!

Maura did a great job with our beasties! I really appreciated the consistent communication and the many pictures while we were gone. She was also really flexible about timing, which helped us tremendously. Everyone was happy and healthy when we got back and the house was neat as a pin. We'll definitely be booking with her again!

Thomas was excellent and thorough in every capacity! He agreed to come stay with my 2 cats for 6 days/5 nights with short notice. During the meet and greet, he brought a tablet and took notes on all the info I told him. My cats seemed to love him (even my shy cat!) based on the daily updates he sent. When I got home I was pleasantly shocked by how clean my house was. Cannot recommend Thomas enough, I feel like I hit the Rover jackpot during this trip. It's always a little stressful leaving your pets (and house) in a stranger's hands for a week, but this could not have been a less stressful week. Thank you Thomas!

Kiley house-sat my two dogs for three nights while I was out of state, and I couldn’t have been happier with her care! She was extremely responsive, sent frequent updates and pictures, and made sure I knew how the dogs were doing throughout my trip. She handled walking both dogs, including my reactive dog, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while I was away. I would highly recommend Kiley for house sitting or dog sitting!

Cam was absolutely brilliant! She took wonderful care of our three senior dogs and kitty, including keeping up with daily medications and, just as importantly, paying close attention to their individual needs, routines, and cues. When our flight was cancelled, Cam truly came to our rescue by staying an extra day. Knowing our furry little retirement village was in such capable hands made a stressful situation considerably easier. We can’t recommend Cam highly enough. She was attentive, dependable, caring, and went above and beyond for us and our furry clan. We will absolutely ask her back—assuming, of course, she’s willing to subject herself to this lot again. Cam has our highest recommendation without hesitation!

Geoff was fantastic with our dog while we were away on a two-week international vacation. Before our trip, he took the time to come to our home for a meet-and-greet, asked thoughtful questions, and made it clear that he wanted to keep her routine as normal and comfortable as possible. He arrived prepared and early on the day we left, which made our departure completely stress-free. We love receiving updates, and Geoff went above and beyond by sending multiple photos each day, along with detailed and entertaining updates about the great time they were having. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. Geoff also took excellent care of our home and left everything clean and exactly as he found it. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Geoff to anyone looking for a dependable, attentive, caring, and groovy sitter!

Had previously used Kaitlyn for a drop in for 3 little dogs who have pea sized bladders and require walks every 3 hours. They also don't always agree on routing which is to say they are not necessarily easy to walk. This time, she stayed at our home for 4 days. All went perfectly. Kaitlyn is meticulous about following directions give and is genuinely concerned about providing the same level of care that pups get from their owners. We give Kaitlyn 12 paws up and plan to use her often.
Zoe was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is thorough, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. She cared for our dog and two cats for five days, managing medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all of their daily routines with great attention to detail. She was also incredibly respectful of our home and we returned to everything just as we left it. What impressed us most was the patience and kindness she showed our dog, Masie, who is very fearful and slow to trust new people. Zoe took the time to earn that trust at our dog's pace, and now they're the best of friends. Seeing that transformation gave us so much confidence that our pets were not only well cared for but genuinely happy while we were away. Zoe is flexible, reliable, and communicates well, making the entire experience stress-free. We came home to happy, healthy pets and had complete peace of mind while we were gone. We will gladly book Zoe again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. Thank you, Zoe!
Keri was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my puppy for the whole day and so I was a little nervous about how she’d do but Keri sent updates and adorable pictures that put me at ease. I also appreciated her attentiveness when we were going over all of the details she’d need to know for the day.

As of August 2026, there are 1,449 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Undercliff. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Undercliff walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Undercliff maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Undercliff choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Undercliff. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
