About: I have always been around dogs. I grew up with multiple medium-sized dogs and have pet sat for five family friends. This included popping in to walk them and also overnight stays that lasted up to two weeks. Over the summer, I am available to house sit anytime, but I do work a 9-5 job. I can also walk your dog in the evening and on weekends. I look forward to working with you! During the school year, I am a full-time Master's student at Pitt, so in between my classes I am able to take care of your pets! I have pretty open availability outside of my class schedule. I will follow your instructions on how you want me to care for your pets. I typically let them roam as they please and play with them as much as they like.

“Connor was great. Very responsive and seemed to enjoy his time with Shelby. I will use him again.”

“Such a kind person, and lovely to sit with my elderly pup.”

“Flora was an absolute dog mom's dream! I had my normal sitter cancelled two night before our trip, and I came across Flora and she came the next evening to meet the dogs! With her experience with rescue dogs, I knew it would be a great fit. She sent pictures and checked in to let me know everything was going just fine. I'm a top notch dog mom worrier, so it was comforting. Can't wait to have Flora back! Highly recommend her to come and love your furkiddos! :)”

“Emma watched my two dogs at mountain top campground while my husband and I went to a few museums in Pittsburgh. It was great peace of mind to know they weren't alone in the camper all day and we were able to enjoy ourselves. The girls loved Emma and seemed at ease with her from the beginning. Emma was very prompt with her arrival time. I would highly recommend Emma for dog sitting, especially if you are at the campground, she's very local (within 10 minutes I believe) of the campground.”

“Sam was great with our pups while we were away on a trip! He is friendly, reliable, and did a great job.”

About: I have had my own dog for almost 5 yrs so I am a pro and have watched dogs of all breeds and ages. I have lots of energy and am happy to go on walks, play tug of war, fetch, or just stay in and cuddle. I am currently in PA school, so although not a vet I have experience with medications and medical care if needed. I am currently in PA school so my schedule changes frequently but often I only have part time commitments and am looking to hang out with some pups to fill my free time! My house is puppy proofed for my own dog and ready to go for any guests! I do not have a fenced in yard but go out often with dogs on leash. I have been responsible for kids and pets for almost 15 years and am a pro at this point!

“Laurie did a great job watching our two dogs with a home stay! She was very responsive and we came home to happy dogs and a clean house. We immediately rebooked her for another dog sit!”

“Darra did a great job taking care of our senior dog. She communicated and sent pictures and videos. The house was also in great shape when we got home, very happy to have her and will definitely use her again!”

About: 🐶 Having been surrounded by dogs my entire life, I’ve developed a deep understanding and appreciation for their care. Growing up with dogs and raising my own, Harlow 🐾, from a puppy, has given me firsthand experience in fostering their well-being. My passion for animals extends beyond personal experience—participation in clubs at the Pittsburgh Zoo 🦁 provided me with valuable insights into animal behavior and care, further enhancing my knowledge. Being from Pittsburgh, I am fluent with many resources for me to enjoy with pets. 🐕🦺 My pet care journey started in 2014 with my first job at a dog care store on Butler Street, where I honed my skills in providing attentive and compassionate care. During my internship with the Water Authority in Bradford, PA, I dedicated my lunch breaks to volunteering at the local SPCA 🏠, offering love and attention to animals in need. These experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, knowledgeable, and empathetic sitter. 💛 As a remote, part-time engineering student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I can easily fit dog walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine, ensuring each pet gets the attention it deserves. My love for animals and adaptable schedule makes it easy to prioritize their well-being. I currently care for two dogs, my mother's and her boyfriend's, and have hands-on experience managing their daily needs. At home, I ensure a safe environment with our fenced-in yard and always prioritize the pets' well-being. For my clients' pets, I’m adaptable to their specific routines, whether that involves feeding, walks, playtime, or creating a comfortable space. Every pet in my care receives love and attention tailored to their unique needs.

About: I’ve had the chance to care for dogs both through family and formal sitting experience, and it’s something I truly enjoy. Now that I’m back home in Pittsburgh, I regularly help care for my family’s dog on weekends — we go on walks, stick to a feeding routine, and spend lots of time playing and relaxing together. I’ve also worked as a live-in pet sitter for a household where I was trusted to care for their dogs while they were away. My responsibilities included feeding, administering oral medications, taking them on daily walks, and making sure they had consistent bathroom breaks and companionship. I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether it’s high-energy playtime or slow strolls with older pups, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and provide care that feels familiar and comforting! I’m currently a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh and working a part-time job at a golf course this summer. While my schedule can vary week to week, I have plenty of flexibility to fit in pet care around my other responsibilities. I’m an early riser, reliable with time management, and happy to work with pet parents to find times that suit their needs. Whether it’s morning walks, midday drop-ins, or weekend care, I’m committed to making it work. When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep things calm, consistent, and comforting. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding routines, walk schedules, and any special needs. I take safety seriously — I make sure doors are secured, leashes are properly fitted, and pets are never left unsupervised during walks or outdoor time. I also like to check in with updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re my own — with patience, reliability, and care.
