About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

About: When I was 5, my first ever chore was feeding the dog because my parents knew it was what I cared about most. That hasn’t changed. I’ve had animals of some sort my entire life and currently have two larger dogs. I’ve used Rover as a pet owner since moving to Pittsburgh and can fully attest to how helpful it has been, which is why I decided to become a sitter I’ve sat for animals with needs for oral and topical medicines and am comfortable handling that. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I only need a day’s notice to plan transportation. For house sitting, I’m happy to work from that home as well. I’m comfortable with whatever your pet is used to. Fenced yards, leashed walks, and litter boxes are all fine by me. I’m also happy to help reinforce training and routine if needed.

Therese did a fabulous job watching our pups. She was very responsible, and kept us updated during the whole trip. Most importantly, she was able to stay an extra night, when our flights were cancelled. It was a great relief knowing our dogs were being so well looked after.
Madison is magnificent! She was very patient with our needy deaf pup and took the time to learn his hand signals. She played ball, took him for walks, and cuddled on the couch. Our house was spotless when we returned. Madison was very accommodating to our schedule and quickly responded to our texts. We recommend her 100%.
Autumn and Addie were absolutely wonderful! They sent so many pictures and videos throughout my trip, and it was obvious how much they cared about Nellie and Chi. Seeing how happy, playful, and comfortable Nellie was made me feel so at ease while I was on vacation. I never had to worry because I knew they were in great hands. Zoe was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is thorough, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. She cared for our dog and two cats for five days, managing medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all of their daily routines with great attention to detail. She was also incredibly respectful of our home and we returned to everything just as we left it. What impressed us most was the patience and kindness she showed our dog, Masie, who is very fearful and slow to trust new people. Zoe took the time to earn that trust at our dog's pace, and now they're the best of friends. Seeing that transformation gave us so much confidence that our pets were not only well cared for but genuinely happy while we were away. Keri was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my puppy for the whole day and so I was a little nervous about how she’d do but Keri sent updates and adorable pictures that put me at ease. I also appreciated her attentiveness when we were going over all of the details she’d need to know for the day.
Emma did a great job being flexible and taking care of our dog for a week! She allowed for a hybrid of boarding and sitting that worked well as our family grew by another human. She gave us daily updates of his adventures and romps around town and daily walks and activities.
Julia house sat/stayed with my dog Otis. She was really great with him, sent pictures, and my place was clean when I got home. She was also very responsive. This was my first time using rover and it was a super positive experience thanks to Julia. I’d recommend her for sure!
