About: I've been trusted to take care of others' pets and children since I was 12 years old. As a reliable, positive, and calm pet sitter, I will ensure your pet gets the love, care, and attention they deserve! I'm new to the area, but prior to moving, I was regularly asked to pet/house sit via word of mouth recommendations and repeat clients. Between my own dogs and cats and those I've sat for, I have experience with a variety of ages, from 8 weeks old to elderly, as well as a variety of breeds, needs, and social levels. I especially love working with puppies despite the amount of work they are; a simple repetitive routine of potty, eat, potty, play/train, potty, crate, makes a world of difference (trust me - I've learned the hard way). Growing up, I experienced the amazing love of three dogs and two cats (plus one hamster and countless fish) in my household. We adopted him at 12 weeks old from an accidental litter, and he's added such joy and fulfillment to our lives. He might be my biggest pet resume boost. He is a wicked smart, high energy dude who requires a lot of structure and attention to thrive, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He gets daily training, puzzles, walks, crate time, scratches, and snuggles. As a full-time grad student with extra time on my hands, I would love to put that same amount of energy towards your furry friends - and if Ekko gets to benefit too by making a new friend, well that'd be the cherry on top! Some pets are nonstop goofballs and some are shy and sleepy, so I give them as much space or play time as they'd like! With every service I provide, I would never make assumptions about your pet without your approval, from foods they can eat to places they can go. Trusting someone else with your pet is a big deal, and it can be nerve-wracking for your pet too! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. I currently own a year old Jack Russel named sir loin and he is absolutely obsessed with making friends! I’m always available on during the week and weekend as I have a remote job. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. Since I am home most of the day, I can give your pet consistent attention and stay close to their normal routine, whether that means a lunchtime walk, a couple of check ins, or overnight care in your home. My own dog Ollie keeps me on a steady rhythm of walks and playtime, so fitting your pet into that flow is easy and something I genuinely enjoy. Because I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting, most of my care takes place in your home and neighborhood, and I treat both with real respect. On walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, follow safe routes, pay attention to weather and pavement temperature, and stay focused on their comfort and body language. For drop in visits, I follow your instructions closely including feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, litter boxes, and plenty of attention and play. I always double check doors, gates, and locks before I leave. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible in their own familiar space, keep your home secure and tidy, and treat it with the same care I give my own. Throughout every service, I send photos and updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable, and I reach out quickly if anything ever seems off. Trust is the foundation of this work, and I never take it for granted.
About: I have twenty three years in pet care, raising a litter of cats, rescued dogs from unhealthy living situations, raising a puppy from three months old to the age of fifteen years old. Administering medication, and shots for diabetic dogs, ear cleaning, nail trimming, bathing, walking, feeding, car rides to the park or pay dates also veterinary visits. I adore dogs and cats, their unconditional love to everyone you can learn a lot from animals if you pay attention 😊 I have a passion for animal welfare and assisting in any way possible. About: I’m from LA, where I worked for a dog hiking service where we started each morning with a group hike, came back home for daycare, and boarded dogs overnight. I love all dogs, big + small, and know how important it is for them not just to be well taken care of, but happy! Now it’s just me and my dog (Micho) in Pittsburgh exploring the trails around the city, and we would love to bring your pup along! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule + take multiple walks a day, short hikes a couple times a week, and longer day trips on the weekends. Because I only take one dog at a time, my time will be completely devoted to your dog for one-on-one play, walks, snuggling, and everything in between.
