Throughout the day I maintain consistent communication with the owners so they always know how their pets are doing. There is always time set aside for affection, enrichment, and simply being present with the animals so they feel cared for and not alone. In the evening I finish with another round of feeding, walks or play sessions, and a final check to ensure everyone is settled and comfortable for the night. Every day follows this rhythm of structure, patience, and genuine care to make sure each pet feels secure, happy, and well looked after. Philip and Stephanie did a fantastic job taking care of Trixie and Thorne for me. It was so wonderful knowing my pets were in good hands while I was attending a celebration of life event for the loss of my girlfriend. Philip even took the cardboard boxes I had that needed to go to recycling for me. Great people for sure.
Brandon was excellent with our miniature dachshund, Clif. He had third degree burns recently and required a little extra care, and Brandon went above and beyond to make sure Clif bad his meds, got a walk in, and even put him in a clean suitical. Throughout their stay, Joe kept me updated with regular photos and messages, showing how much my dogs were enjoying their time with him and the other dogs in his care. I could tell they were treated like family! When we came home, my dogs were happy, relaxed, and in great spirits—proof that they were well cared for. Joe’s home and fenced yard are well-suited for pets, and I felt confident they were in good hands the whole time. Emma stayed for a week house sitting our fur baby family- three dogs and two cats (plus 5 fresh water fish tanks). The fur babies demand a lot of love and attention. She’s equally thoughtful and responsible. All the fur babies were relaxed and contented when we came home, which I believe is a sign of how well she cared for all their needs. House was perfectly orderly and all was well.
