About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

Thomas was excellent and thorough in every capacity! He agreed to come stay with my 2 cats for 6 days/5 nights with short notice. During the meet and greet, he brought a tablet and took notes on all the info I told him. My cats seemed to love him (even my shy cat!) based on the daily updates he sent. When I got home I was pleasantly shocked by how clean my house was. Cannot recommend Thomas enough, I feel like I hit the Rover jackpot during this trip. Cam was absolutely brilliant! She took wonderful care of our three senior dogs and kitty, including keeping up with daily medications and, just as importantly, paying close attention to their individual needs, routines, and cues. When our flight was cancelled, Cam truly came to our rescue by staying an extra day. Knowing our furry little retirement village was in such capable hands made a stressful situation considerably easier. We can’t recommend Cam highly enough. She was attentive, dependable, caring, and went above and beyond for us and our furry clan. We will absolutely ask her back—assuming, of course, she’s willing to subject herself to this lot again. Geoff was fantastic with our dog while we were away on a two-week international vacation. Before our trip, he took the time to come to our home for a meet-and-greet, asked thoughtful questions, and made it clear that he wanted to keep her routine as normal and comfortable as possible. Zoe was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is thorough, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. She cared for our dog and two cats for five days, managing medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all of their daily routines with great attention to detail. Keri was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my puppy for the whole day and so I was a little nervous about how she’d do but Keri sent updates and adorable pictures that put me at ease. I also appreciated her attentiveness when we were going over all of the details she’d need to know for the day.
Emma did a great job being flexible and taking care of our dog for a week! She allowed for a hybrid of boarding and sitting that worked well as our family grew by another human. She gave us daily updates of his adventures and romps around town and daily walks and activities.
Jackie worked amazingly well with my Izzy cat. Izzy went immediately to Jackie upon meet & greet. I was very surprised since Izzy is usually shy or tends to swat new friends. Krisha house sat our 8 month old puppy for a weekend & did a great job. She gave regular updates, followed our typical schedule, and continued some of the training we had started doing.
