We have always left our dogs in kennels when we left for vacation, but wanted to try using a dog sitter because Bear always came home exhausted and a little stressed. Luckily, we found Tyler! About: I have our wheaten terrier George for 1.5 years and I have experience sitting dogs for our neighborhood. I have a nice front yard and doggy door for all day free roaming. My neighborhood is very low traffic perfect for dog walking. I work from home full-time for my own company. My schedule is quite flexible but typically I do 8 am morning walk and an afternoon walk around 5 pm for my dog. Happy to do additional walk if requested. I will take care of your dog just like we treat our dog George. He is super friendly and kind to all human and dog. I will make sure they can get along and I will send picture throughout the day.

About: Hi! We have a 2 year old neutered male Samoyed who loves to play! We’d be happy to welcome another high energy dog or older dog to our home for a short or extended stay. We treat all dogs in our care as our own and can accommodate 1 long walk (~40 mins plus) and 2 medium walks (~20 mins each) throughout the day. Dogs will also have access to our small fenced back yard for bathroom breaks throughout the day. As a dog owner myself, I understand updates and pictures are a MUST can make the difference between enjoying your time away and worrying about your fur baby. You will receive consistent check-ins from us to ensure you have that peace of mind. Please reach out to find out if your dog has any behavioral or reactivity issues that we can accommodate - it is always important for us to do a meet up before taking on new clients to ensure our dog and your dog will be happy during the stay. I am also happy to accommodate day time care only rates for people who would like someone home with their pet during the workday or an extended day out of the house. Since we have our own dog, we rarely both leave the house at the same time, and we never leave for longer than 4 hrs a day. We’d love to have your pet join us for our 8am walk, 2:30pm walk, and 8pm evening long walk. We also take our dog to Schenley for fetch (empty field only) on the long leash - please let us know if you think your dog would enjoy that activity too! My personal goal is to help my dog meet more dog friends - we will do everything in our power to make sure Frank and his new bestie are both happy and healthy during their stay! Our standard protocols: - no toys (some dogs will express resource guarding behavior when not set up for success) - dogs will always be fed separately (same rationale as above) - crating can be accommodated but we typically do not crate our pup when we leave the house and dogs will be separated upstairs/downstairs when unattended - reactive dogs on leash will be walked separately as needed **please reach out if your dog might require any additional accommodations outside of our standard protocol**

I recently graduated from college and moved to the city, and I’m excited to continue spending time with animals through dog walking and pet sitting. About: Hello! I have taken care of a wide variety of animals from dog walking to cat sitting, from kittens and puppies, to sweet senior animals. I'm used to anything from big energy to shy little guys. Safety and care are #1. I have a day job caring for animals and I also own my own animals, and love caring for them. I'm very patient and love meeting new animals. I personally have 1 cat, but in the past have had owned dogs and cats. All animals deserve love and safety and I am happy to provide that. I can administer medication and am also familiar with seizure prone animals.
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a teenager in high school. My friends, family, and neighbors would rely on and trust me to check-in, walk, feed, and care for their pets while they were out of town and would return home knowing their pets were well cared for while they were away! I am a recent Physician Assistant graduate looking for part-time work while studying for my boards! Rover allows me to create the perfect work schedule for myself, while also allowing sufficient time during my day to focus on my studies. I love caring for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual routine and needs, and I’m happy to provide everything from feeding and walks to playtime and keeping their space clean and comfortable. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

“This was our first time leaving Bear with Tyler and he was amazing! We have always left our dogs in kennels when we left for vacation, but wanted to try using a dog sitter because Bear always came home exhausted and a little stressed. Luckily, we found Tyler! He was very welcoming and obviously loves dogs. After our meet a week before our vacation , I and my family felt completely at ease leaving Bear with Tyler. During our trip, Tyler sent regular updates and pictures showing how great Bear was doing. At no time were we worried or concerned. About: I have our wheaten terrier George for 1.5 years and I have experience sitting dogs for our neighborhood. I have a nice front yard and doggy door for all day free roaming. My neighborhood is very low traffic perfect for dog walking. I work from home full-time for my own company. My schedule is quite flexible but typically I do 8 am morning walk and an afternoon walk around 5 pm for my dog. Happy to do additional walk if requested. I will take care of your dog just like we treat our dog George. He is super friendly and kind to all human and dog. I will make sure they can get along and I will send picture throughout the day.
