About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. About: I adore all animals, and even though that may mean I have a lack of survival instincts when it comes to the carnivorous ones, it also means I’m willing to handle any pet you may own with equal care—the legless ones included 😊. I only draw the line at anything within the six-&-above-legged category. I have had experience with animals since I was a child and have cared for dogs of all breeds and ages, bearded dragons, and even goats and a raccoon before. I also happen own a tiny dinosaur (at least he thinks so) and I adore pitt-bulls (seriously if you own one, I have lots of cuteness aggression to share with them 🥹). So, as long as your pet is not a deranged bulldozer on a leash I’d be quite honored to walk it, and if it is a maniac on the leash, maybe I’ll just feed and cuddle the monster while you’re gone. About: Greetings. I've had pets most of my life and recently have taken care of many dogs during COVID on a long and short term basis. The longest stay I had was 2 months while the owner went to India. I recently moved to Pittsburgh (Mt Washington) from the Netherlands so I'm happy to have a pet to 🐶 hang out with while I'm learning the area. I work full time, however it's remote from home and I set my own break schedule. So I'll have plenty of spare time to walk, groom and play with the 🐕 I'm in a condo that allows pets and am on the ground floor so it's easy to take multiple breaks for a walk or run. Medicine wise, I have given pills and insulin injections to animals I have watched and not got scratched.
