About: I've been volunteering at my local animal shelter for almost 2 years now. I hang out with pets whenever I get the chance, so I've walked a friend's dog here and there. While I've fed medication meatballs to dogs, have observed vet techs handling many dogs for medication and triage, and know some canine body language basics, I'm still looking to expand my hands-on dog care experience, as I'm much more experienced with cats at the moment. I'd love to care for your well-behaved dog for an affordable price as part of my learning experience! I love hanging out with friendly dogs of all sizes but for walking I am only comfortable taking medium to small dogs to start. I'm off from university for the Christmas season and I'm looking to accumulate some experience before going back, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with early mornings or last minute bookings as long as we iron out the details before you leave. As a shelter volunteer I follow Fear Free Shelter principles and focus on minimizing stress and fear while maximizing enrichment. I will also protect your babies with good hygiene, including hand washing and a change of clothes if I work with another household beforehand. While I've only administered medication by mixing with treats, I can work with detailed instructions if you've had success with other techniques before. I am not squeamish about chores and I do well with checklists, so let me know everything that your pet needs!

About: I am a current volunteer and foster for a local rescue organization. I have volunteered with animal rescues for most of my life. I have worked in a kennel and i have owned dogs of various breeds my entire life. I do work full time however I don’t have a set schedule so i have some flexibility with weekday walks, drop ins, and sitting. I have a home office also. I am also available on weekends and could also do sitting in my own home. I have a fenced in yard and also a super friendly and sweet rescue dog of my own. I have the ability to crate or give your pup some space if that would make them feel more comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.

About: I recently had to say goodbye to my almost 17 year old min pin. Last year I lost my 15 year old mutt. I'm not ready for a new dog of my own yet but would love to help take care of yours! I live in the East End and would prefer to stay on this side of town. Very flexible schedule for dog walking and boarding. Available weekdays, weekends, and most holidays. Reliable, caring, and experienced—your pup’s comfort and safety are my priority! I have a fenced in back yard. There are no pets or children living in my home. I also live in a very dog friendly neighborhood.

About: I am a proud pet dad with two years of professional dog walking experience at Wannagoout Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, based in Boston, MA. I have experience with and am comfortable taking care of any size or breed of dog, from the tiniest Yorkies to the biggest Great Danes. I am also comfortable with several collar and harness set ups, including pinch collars, easy walk harnesses, gentle leaders and more. I am also available for any of your cat sitting needs! I have owned several cats throughout my life, so I've got a great idea of how to handle even the most finicky felines. From May 1-June 16, I will have full availability for walking and sitting seven days a week. Beginning June 16, I will available for evening walks and drop in visits on weekdays, with full availability on weekends. I am not able to host dogs in my own home since I am in an apartment with two cats, but I am happy to take your dog to a fenced in dog park for exercise or anything else that you may need.

About: I have had the great privilege of caring for dogs for many years now, including one of my own, all the while making different animal friends along the way. I try hard to consider how an animal's mind works when I interact with them, which has lead me to make some unlikely friends. I am currently working part-time with a lot of flexibility in my schedule, and my own transportation. I am also a night owl, available for evening drop ins or walks. If I have the privilege of caring for your pets in your home or on a walk, I will diligently follow instructions to the letter. I will take notes and your pet will have my utmost focus while in my care.

About: Before I walk your dog or hang with your cat, there are three things you should know about me. I love being outside, being with animals, and making and performing music. It's incredibly rewarding to me to care for animals. I believe me and your dog or cat share the same curiosity for adventure and I can't wait to get to know them. There's also a good chance that I end up singing some of my music to them. I grew up with pets and have experience in dog and cat sitting for neighbors and friends. When it comes to your pets, my first priority is their safety. I am extremely timely, and adaptable to all sorts of dogs and cats. Consider letting me care for, explore with, and sing to your animals! Currently working part-time, so a lot of availability, especially if you give lots of advance notice! I can be flexible with timing for walks and drop-ins. I don't have space for dogs or cats in my current home, as I'm living with my wife in someone else's area that does not allow pets. But, I'm happy to help take care of your animal in your home by maintaining a safe and clean environment for them, and making sure they are well-fed and exercised.

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. My childhood goal was to be a veterinarian. I have been involved in animal rescue since 2018. I have five rescue cats of my own. Three are special needs. Ask anyone, I treat them exactly like they are my children. I have a very flexible schedule. I work from home five days a week and am able to move my schedule around as needed. Your cat will get lots of love and attention I have a spacious upstairs bathroom I do not use as a bathroom, but a cat sitting room. There is a cat tree in a window with a great view. A comfy cat bed and lots of toys. I’m happy to provide pictures. I will start your cat off in my bathroom, but If they become comfortable enough, I will let them out with my animals. Typically this looks like them spending a few hours a day roaming my house, and sleeping in the bathroom at night.

About: Greetings. I've had pets most of my life and recently have taken care of many dogs during COVID on a long and short term basis. The longest stay I had was 2 months while the owner went to India. I recently moved to Pittsburgh (Mt Washington) from the Netherlands so I'm happy to have a pet to 🐶 hang out with while I'm learning the area. I work full time, however it's remote from home and I set my own break schedule. So I'll have plenty of spare time to walk, groom and play with the 🐕 I'm in a condo that allows pets and am on the ground floor so it's easy to take multiple breaks for a walk or run. Medicine wise, I have given pills and insulin injections to animals I have watched and not got scratched.

About: I always had pets growing up so I was responsible for walking/bathing/feeding my own pets and I started with pet care when I was 15 and I’ve been doing it ever since! This is my full time job that I do through Rover and independently as well. I’m happy to take on your usual schedule you have for your pet during our booking! When I watch a pet in a clients house, I am happy to follow whatever instructions are necessary for your pet! That includes how often you want them to be walked, if they need any special medicine, if they have special food instructions, and just about anything else you could think of!

About: My home and fenced-in back yard can comfortably host several dogs. My own dog is gentle, friendly, and a cancer survivor. I am responsible, diligent, and kind. My schedule is very much open. Currently I am taking classes online, so I am home 24/7 besides buying groceries. I like to get exercise and love walking dogs. I have a welcoming home with fenced in yard. I do have 1 dog already - a very friendly 6.5 year-old mutt named Ulysses who is also a cancer survivor. My home is safe for pets of all shapes and sizes.
