About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

About: I’ve had a dog for most of the last 25 years. I miss having a dog around to walk and hang out with. It’s not the right time for a new dog, so I’d love to take care of yours! I have a flexible schedule and I work from home. I am accustomed to walking a dog or hiking with a dog a couple of times a day. Looking for an excuse to get out and walk around! We have a home with a fenced in back yard so it’s great for doggies to have some outdoor space available. We’re also in a great neighborhood for walks.

“Mariola was great! She's very sweet and loves dogs. She even sent me a photo of Jojo having fun with his new friends. This was my dog's first time in day care and I felt totally secure. I highly recommend her!”

“Naomi is incredible!! She was such a massive help to us while my partner was away for a week. Our recently adopted fur baby Guillermo spent the day with her every time I had to go to work. He was clearly very comfortable and happy to see her and her dog mocha every day. Mocha clearly wanted to play but was patient while Guillermo figured out the situation as he was a little skittish and had never played with another dog before. Now he plays like a pro!! Naomi also worked wonders for his leash walking abilities and taught me some great tips and tricks for continuing his training. The whole time she kept us updated on his days and his progress with texts, photos, videos, and end of day reports. Cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Naomi!!”

“Claudio was amazing with Xico. Xico does not always get along with other dogs, but Claudio has the ability to ease any tension or fear Xico may feel around new dogs. Claudio went above and beyond to make Xico feel at home. They even went to Alameda beach! I know Xico felt safe and happy due to Claudio’s warm energy. I’m so happy Xico could socialize and have fun this week!”

“Latricia was great! My dog can be a bit difficult with new people, but Latricia was patient and understanding. She kept me updated with pictures throughout the day, too, so I had peace of mind.”

“Anchisa kept my dog Walter for doggy day care on my long work days. I am completely pleased and so happy we found her! From time of booking throughout his whole stay her communication is excellent with updates and pics! He is no longer nervous when I get ready for work since he knows he will be seeing her. I would trust her completely for boarding if I leave town as well. I am so grateful we found you!”

“Mary is super attentive and caring. She gave detailed updates about how she was doing and sent lots of photos in which Shanti looks happy and relaxed, enjoying the company of her fur baby, Murphy. When I arrived at her place to pick her up. she was already standing in front of her apartment building so that I didn't have to wait for her to come out. So Sweet! I'd definitely ask her to look after my dog again in a heartbeat!”

“Sara was awesome! She was super friendly and Wes warmed right up to her. She was very communicative throughout the day sending lots of texts and picture updates which I really appreciate :) Wes seemed to have a great time.”

“Douglas is a very caring and patient dog sitter for our sweet but stubborn senior shih tzu! He took our dog out for adventures during the day but also was careful to listen to when our dog needed to just relax. We’d have him take care of our dog again in a second! Bonus, he has a wonderful dog named Pepe to share in the adventures!”

About: I have three years experience boarding dogs. They get out twice a day and everyone's food needs are taken care of. The dogs play in my living room and sleeping arrangements vary on the dog. I understand that these amazing creatures are a part of your family. I don't take that for granted. I am committed to keeping the pups entertained, loved and safe. Dogs can be unpredictable. I have chased dogs who have slipped their leashes for miles around the neighborhood. I have broken up fights. Carried a 55 pound pitbull who went into anaphylactic shock 4 blocks to my car and raced her to the vet. I've spit in dogs noses to save them from a foxtail (it works by the way). When you drop off your dog at my house rest assured you're getting someone who will do everything they can to keep them happy, and safe.

“Alexis has looked after our dog twice now and she does a great job! He gets so much outdoor time and walks, and we get lots of updates and photos! We will definitely continue to book with Alexis.”

Aimee E.
“I truly cannot say enough good things about Aimee. We met her through Rover when our dog Zoe was a puppy, and over the last few years, she has become a part of Zoe's family. Aimee watches Zoe for both daycare and boarding. Aimee brings a lot of fun (beach trips!), stimulation (toys, a doggie pool!), training, and most importantly, a ton of love and care to Zoe's life. It's clear that Aimee is passionate about dogs, and really takes the time to get to know each pup - their personalities, quirks, and needs. She also has excellent judgment. For example, when Zoe was in her care while we were out of the country, Aimee noticed that Zoe wasn't acting like herself and ended up taking her to the vet on our behalf and updated us frequently. We always feel like Zoe is in good hands while in Aimee's care. She has has excellent communication and we also love the videos and photos she sends throughout the day. I HIGHLY recommend Aimee for both boarding and daycare. She is a gem and we feel lucky to have her!”

“This is the best Doggie Daycare and border in the East Bay, hands-down. I have been bringing my Labrador to Nik and Jessica for years and have referred several people to them who have become regulars. Jessica and Nik have two dogs at their own and our lifelong dog lovers and experienced care providers. A number of things set them apart, starting with being just a few blocks away from Oakland’s best dog park, Bushrod. The dogs get to come to this amazing park twice a day. When they are not at the park there is no shortage of entertainment in their spacious home, which includes multiple outdoor spaces. They are generous with treats like bully sticks and Jessica even cooks homemade snacks for them. They love all the dogs as if they are their own. Lastly, their pack always has a good vibe. My dog is happy when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up, and also exhausted, in a good way. Only problem I have is half the time he does not want to leave!”
