“Gillian took fantastic care of Bella for me while I was away. You can tell she really loves animals and has experience so you feel at ease with you pet in her care. I’d absolutely have her walk/feed Bella again for me and recommend her services anyone!l”

About: In my life, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even ducks! I love all kinds of animals. If you’re anything like me, your pets are family, and they deserve to be treated that way! I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so caring for your pet or pets should be pretty easy for me to fit into my day. I know how important it is to allow your pet time to have some exercise and fun. I will definitely spend some time with your “kids,” because I love being with them.

“Karina is so wonderful with my dog! She is a rescue and I’m an overprotective fur baby mom. Karina is an absolute life saver! I’m so lucky I found her and highly recommend her to anyone considering her services.”

About: I have 3 pups that mean the world to me, but still miss my #1 boy that sadly passed away to an autoimmune disease. I have experience with puppies having raised all 4 from just a couple months and puppy training With Parker getting sick I also have experience giving medicine and taking care of elderly dogs. I understand each one has their different needs and aim to give them as much love while they're in my care. I currently work overnights so I'm free the rest of the day after 9 am. When I get home I take the pups out and feed them. They get treats for finishing their food and then it's playtime! I have plenty of space for pups to run around and live down the road from a dog park that's usually pretty empty. I also take the pups to a trail nearby that leaves them tired out.

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life . 30 + years. I currently have a 3 yr old Scottish terrier who gets lots of walks & exercise daily. Family & Friends always rely on me to help take care of their fur babies! A walk a day will keep the vet away for your babies ! My schedule is flexible for dog walking rain or shine ! I can come morning & late afternoon/ evening. I like to make sure a pet gets a well timed lengthy walk with attention. 😁 I treat any dog like my own. Lots of TLC & attention. I like to establish trust with the dog and build off that !

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I’m currently unemployed as I recently left my job as it just wasn’t the right fit any longer. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

About: I have watched 2 dogs for a family on Rover, but that is the only professional experience i have. I used to walk my neighbors dog & I dog sit for my family all the time. I've watched them overnight and during the day. Also I've had different kinds of animals throughout my life that I've had to take care of, including dogs. My sisters have smaller dogs, but a lot of my family friends have bigger dogs like pitbulls. I personally love animals a lot, especially dogs. I work very well with them because of that. I have plenty of time during the day to spend time with your animals! I don’t work until 4 Saturday-Tuesday. I have open availability Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I have 2 cats and a bearded dragon that I love very much. I am currently not taking overnight stays because of it. My cats get stressed out and high anxiety with too much going on. My cats were only 2/3 weeks old when I rescued them, so they have some lingering issues from being separated from Mom too soon.

About: I currently work in a dog daycare/kennel & also in cat boarding. I've worked as a volunteer and foster for Furballz cat rescue for 5 years I currently work part time at an animal hospital in the kennel and in cat boarding. I am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday all day (8:00am through 8:00pm) and Tuesday and Thursday I can only work after 5 pm. I follow instructions in the person's home to the letter the same way I would in the hospital. I understand the multitude of problems aging dogs may face and the owner is the one who knows what the dog needs best.

About: I have 5+ years experience of pet and house sitting for various breeds. Because of my flexible schedule I am always able to give your pets the one on one attention they deserve. Ideally, I am looking for someone who needs afternoon walks for their pet on a daily basis. On a personal level, I have been a pet owner for my entire life and understand how they can enrich our lives. I currently have 2 cute cats that love playing together on their pet apartment and with their toys. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know and care for your pets. Currently My fee reflects local clients only and will vary depending on your location. I am currently pet and house sitting part time with 3 repeat clients, and am looking to add more. My availability is flexible so don't hesitate to inquire. When caring for your pets I am happy to adhere to you and your pets specific needs, ie. Feeding schedule, playing, crating, etc. Rest assured your residence will be safe under my care.

“Lianna was wonderful! I knew my fur baby was being well taken care of. She knew I was anxious leaving my baby so she sent me multiple pictures of every outing so I could see how Tessie was? She was prompt, fed Tessie and made sure she took her medicine everyday for her chronic condition. I highly recommend Lianna if you are in need of pet sitter/walker. I have already booked her again for my next out of town trip when I cannot take my baby.”

While Pet Sitting at your home, my services include feeding, potty breaks, playtime, TLC, possibly a walk.

About: * I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, and nothing brings me more joy in this world than being around them. They are part of the family, and should be treated that way. My goal is not only to keep your pets healthy and safe, but to ensure they get the love and attention back that they always given to me. Eventually I’m looking to transition into this full time and will have more availability. About: First time clients can use the promo code below for a discount on your first booking. DAWNA60239 My profile: https://www.rover.com/sit/dawna60239 I have taken care of dogs since I was in my early teens. In addition, through the years, I have also been a pet parent to a horse, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, tropical fish, goldfish, and hamsters. Family and friends routinely ask me for pet care advice since I have had pets for so many years and trained my own puppies through self teaching. I also have experience administering medications. I care for my own four dogs on a daily basis ranging in age from 3 to 17 and have raised them from puppies. We have play time and snuggle time at different times each day. There is plenty of extra time and love each day to care for your fur baby too. I have a fenced yard on just under 1/2 acre, and my four dogs love to romp and play which is part of their daily routine. They also love long walks or going for a car ride. They are all crate trained and feel that their crate is their special place, so the doors are always open for them to have their alone/rest time when they want to after play time (if they are not trying to claim a spot on the couch or in the recliner). One especially likes the couch and the others love to sleep in bed at night.

About: Hi! I am new to Rover but my qualifications include a lifetime experience with and love for animals. I began caring for animals growing up and became familiar with their needs. My experience caring for animals ranges from small to large dogs, young and old. I have given multiple medications to my animals, cleaned up after, and groomed. I run my own pet sitting business and dog waste removal. You can find me on Facebook - Matt’s Pet Sitting & Dog Waste Removal. So ill have plenty of times to care for your pups! Very flexible on weekdays/weekends I can walk or check in on your pup! I will ensure your pets are well taken care of while you're away by providing them with the attention, care, and routines they are used to. This includes feeding them according to their schedule, offering fresh water, and engaging in playtime or exercise to keep them active and happy. I will also make sure they receive any medications or special care they need, and provide regular updates with pictures or notes to keep you informed about how they’re doing. I'll maintain a clean and safe environment for them, ensuring they are comfortable and content during your absence.

About: Since I can't have a dog where I live, I would love to be able to hang out and play with your dogs. I'm an animal lover, I have cats and ferrets and would be willing to care for any animals as well. I've worked with horses as well. Whenever I see a dog, I always call them a puppy no matter the age or breed. I *love* dogs, I'm so happy to have found out about this app with the opportunity to meet and walk with dogs. I don't have any special certification. I work in retail but if you want a steady schedule I can work something out. I believe communication is key and will likely send photos of your baby out for a walk! I currently have open availability except for a week in July. Pet sitting is my side gig currently but I always communicate if there's any changes I'll stay at the clients home and make sure the pets are relaxed and not stressed out over their pawrents leaving for their trip. I try to replicate their everyday routines completely so there's no additional stress on the pets.

Dawn A.
“I have known Dawn for many years - she's a kind, considerate person and loves dogs, especially her own through the years. She's very trustworthy and has always had a great work ethic - I did work with her for several years, besides being friends still after many years. I think she would be an asset.”

Matthew R.
“I've seen firsthand how amazing he is with dogs—he truly has a gift. He’s cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups, and he treats every single one like family. Dogs absolutely love him, and it’s easy to see why: he’s patient, kind, responsible, and always in tune with their needs. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just some comforting company, your pup will be in the best hands with him!”

Rahne M.
“Rahne watched my dog Princess for 6 months while I was away for work. Not only did Rahne care for her, but she took her in and treated Princess like she was her own dog. She bought good high quality dog food and a new coat to help with the cold New York winter. I think anyone who loves their dogs would be lucky to have someone like Rahne watch and care for their dog.”
Scotia dog parents share their Rover experiences
I booked with Danica for a dog walk. When we met for the meet and greet, my dog seemed very comfortable with her immediately. She was very nice and answered all my questions. The walk went great, and she sent me a full update with pictures of my happy dog! I recommend Danica if you’re looking for someone you can trust to take care of your pets! Thanks so much for taking care of Luna 🙂
