I’ve always loved every kind of animal, I believe the bond between a dog or cat and their human is truly unconditional. I’m eager to meet and care for more furry friends! I am looking for Rover as a side job to help me out during my slower days! I live in an Inlaw apartment under my mom‘s house. We have a fenced in backyard. I only have one cat in my apartment, and my mom has two dogs that are very friendly. We have a walking trail along a river across the street from our house!

About: Since falling head over heals for my Yorkie, nurturing for him has been one of the greatest experiences I learned. I potty trained him, bathe, and also searched up a recipe for a nutritional diet haha! I know of the greatest dog parks in this area and would love to introduce him to new friends <3 I am flexible with dog walks and part time doggy care. I am very organized with time and will know what to do and when to do so! The space I have inside my house is pretty decent but I like to spend time outside anyways. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cohoes
Pheonix did an excellent job caring for Wyatt, who is a high-energy and strong American Bully. She provided thorough updates and photos, and made sure Wyatt was safe during a heat wave. She is friendly and professional. I would absolutely use her services again and recommend her to others. Thank you, Pheonix!

Evelyn did an excellent job at keeping me informed about Daisy's walk. I liked the update about how she did during the walk and really enjoyed seeing pictures of Daisy. I could tell that Evelyn really cares about doing a good job and takes her responsibilities seriously. Daisy looked very happy when I came home. Thank you for making me feel at ease.

Mary was absolutely wonderful! She took our last minute booking and went above and beyond walking our dog for over a mile each time and then spending time with him at drop off so he was calm and happy throughout the day. I definitely recommend booking with her if you want to be sure your pups are loved!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
