About: Hello, I have a labradoodle. We’ve had her for over 8 years now. I trained her myself. She’s very well behaved and gets along with most dogs. I have 3 years of experience watching small to medium size dogs on rover. I will make sure to feed your dog, let them out on time and send frequent updates with pictures. Feel free to contact us with any questions. I am free most weekends. I have plenty of time to watch your dog, exercise and play with them. Feel free to drop your dogs on a Friday night and I can watch them over the weekend! My apartment has a huge walking space and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, stays hydrated and eats well during the stay.

I was able to book with Linda under some tight time constraints, she was super flexible and made time for a quick meet and greet before booking. She has a very calm energy and did great with my beagle who was a little stressed after a long move from CA. Loved the pictures and updates she sent, highly recommend for anyone in the area :)

About: I want to be a Disney princess so bad so I can be friends with all the animals. Joking aside, I love animals whether it be reptile, fish, or mammal. I inherited my love of animals from my family. I grew up having dogs, cats, exotic fishes, hamsters, chickens, and pigs. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their pets when they are away because they know that I take care of their pets like they're my own. I'm a stay at home mom, so you can be assured that your pet will never be lonely. I have the flexibility to suit you and your pets schedule. I know it's hard to trust strangers to take care of your pets so I offer a meeting first and so you can get to know me and make the best decision for your pets. I also make sure you get updated and take photos & videos.

About: I have a dog and a cat and love them both so much! I love animals and exercise so this is the perfect job. I have experience with small and medium sized trained dogs. I’m a student so I can walk your dog before and after school hours. I am more flexible in the afternoons than the mornings. I am very carful with animals especially if they have difficult social skills. I always walk routes that aren’t too far away in case we have to head back.

About: I’ve owned animals my whole life, but didn’t get into professional animal care till about 2 years ago. Since then I have worked at several daycares and been the Assistant Manager at one! I’ve been around all types of pups from your most nervous dogs to your ultra reactive barkers. I’m always willing to work with you and your dogs! I have plenty of time to see your pups as I work primarily in the morning. I am also very flexible with drop-ins and can do most last minute appointments. DISCLAIMER: I do not stay overnight for my house-sitting requests. I have 5 dogs of my own that while I’d love to bring them with me, I cannot. I am able to be there first thing in the AM and as late as needed in the afternoon. My own pup loves other dogs so if you’re comfortable with your pup having a doggy friend, she is able to tag along! I am comfortable with any necessary oral medication administering, normal feedings, and normal play time with the pups! I am also able to do light training if interested. If needed, I can also do nail trims for an additional price.

About: I grew up with 2 dogs, and currently have a cat! I have always lived with a pet and understand what an important part of our lives they are. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Sycaway. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Sycaway.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
