Mark & Sylva were great hosts for my dog when we needed a few hours of care while my son toured a nearby college. They were welcoming and kind and did a great job with her. I'd happily book again if we're in Troy in the future. Thank you!

About: 🐾🏡 About Me Hi! I’m a lifelong dog owner, trainer, and former kennel manager with experience caring for all breeds, ages, and personalities. My home is active and structured, with plenty of playtime, exercise, and enrichment. I currently share my home with Border Collies, Labradors, and a few mixed breeds, and we’re active in dog sports like frisbee, obedience, and dock diving. Whether your dog is social or needs their own space, I can accommodate them — as long as they are people-friendly. I strive to make dogs feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you have peace of mind. 🐶 What Your Dog Can Expect Safe, structured, and enriching days: Morning play/walks, breakfast, digest & rest breaks, afternoon activities, and evening wind-down. Large fenced backyard + indoor play area for all weather. Crate-based routine for meals, rest, and overnight for safety and comfort. Daily updates: Photos, videos, and notes so you stay connected. Personalized attention based on your dog’s personality, energy, and needs. 📍 Convenient Location Just 3 miles from Albany Airport Near I-87, I-90, and I-88 — perfect for travelers ✅ What I Provide Expansive fenced yard & indoor play space Wide collection of dog equipment (bring only collar, leash, and food) Experience with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, and multiple breeds Knowledge of breed-specific needs, safety, and bloat prevention 📌 What I Need From You Vaccinations required: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella Crate-trained dogs only What to bring: Collar, leash, and food (please no beds) Daycare: All daycare dogs require to ha e a m&g and a trial day before being able to book freely. Drop-Ins/House Sitting: Meet & Greet required. Keyless entries only, will not keep keys. 🗓 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Morning: 6:00–7:30 AM Evening: 6:00–7:30 PM No Saturday evenings or holiday exchanges Please specify a time to avoid overlap — residential area, so we keep things calm for neighbors and dogs 💬 Meet & Greets Recommended for all new clients Please schedule at least 2 weeks prior to your stay 📅 Routine & Peak Season Peak Season: May 1 – September 30 Structured routine: multiple outdoor sessions, playtime, meals with digestion breaks, rest periods — no free-for-all boarding ✨ Why Choose Me? I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on veterinary experience. I’m a working vet assistant, so I’m comfortable caring for pets who need more than just food and walks. I have experience administering medications, monitoring behavior and appetite, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with anxiety or special needs. I’m also confident with puppies, including reinforcing basic training routines and structure. I focus on calm, clean, and attentive care so pets feel safe and owners feel at ease. Pet care is a part of my daily life and routine. I work as a vet assistant, so I’m used to managing feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and behavioral observation for multiple pets. On a typical day, I make time for walks, play, and mental enrichment, and I’m always checking in on pets’ well-being throughout the day. I’m organized and flexible, so whether it’s daily visits, long-term stays, or drop-in check-ins, I can seamlessly integrate caring for your pet into my schedule while keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable. I provide personalized care for pets in both my home and yours. At a client’s home, I follow your routines closely—feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing companionship—so your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own space. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment. I focus on observing behavior, responding to each pet’s needs, and keeping you updated so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

About: As a retired dog lover who is home full-time, I’m able to give pets the attention, supervision, and affection they truly deserve. I share my home with my two sweet King Charles Cavaliers, Dolly and Dash, so caring for dogs is part of my everyday life. What sets me apart is the calm, consistent, and loving environment I provide. With a fully fenced yard, dogs have a safe space to explore and play, and because I’m home all day, pets are never left alone. I understand how important routine, patience, and gentle care are, whether I’m caring for playful pups or senior dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a retiree who is home full-time, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. My days already revolve around caring for my two dogs, Dolly and Dash, so adding more furry friends to the mix feels like a joy, not a task. I’m home throughout the day for regular potty breaks, playtime in our fully fenced yard, walks, feeding schedules, and lots of cuddles. Because I don’t work outside the home, pets are rarely left alone and always have supervision and companionship. Caring for dogs isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule , it is my schedule, and I truly love every minute of it. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, dogs are cared for in a calm, loving environment where they are treated like family. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and pets are always supervised while outside. Because I am home full-time, dogs are never left alone for long periods and receive consistent attention throughout the day. Inside the home, I maintain a clean, cozy space where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and sleep preferences — to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and stick closely to your instructions to ensure your pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I care for every dog as if they were my own.

We appreciate all your extra efforts in making us feel comfortable, and your warm demeanor. We can’t thank you enough, and on top of it all G was given an adorable take home bag with goodies! 💕

About: I am absolutely obsessed with cats and I feel like I do Rover more so because I love interacting with other cats. It’s not even a side hustle :) Should you need me, I’m reliable, efficient, caring, and will treat your cat like he or she is mine. I can also travel anywhere so just let me know whatever is needed. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.
