Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

About: I have had pets my whole life from Cats and at one point living with 12 dogs. I love all animals. I recently Lost my beautiful dog Capone on 8/11/25. I had him for 13 years ! I am still heartbroken over it and honestly I am not ready to get a dog again just yet but I would love nothing more but to give all the love and care i have for your pets. Pets are therapeutic. My dog was my child/family and that is exactly what your dog will be and feel when they are here with us. We have so much love to give. I am currently part time. My children go to daycare during the day, So i can definitely have some alone time with your fur babies! About: I’ve taken care of friends and families dogs. I had a Shitzu named Bella who I rescued in 2016 and she was older and had some health issues. I gave her the best life! She passed in Feb 2019 and will always be in my heart! Ava was born in 2020 and I got her when she was 8 weeks old.
