About: So you want a place where you dog can feel right at home!? This is it!! We have a fenced in yard. We have a little doggie door. We have chickens in the backyard, All fenced in. birds in the house, a lizard in the house. We love animals! I’m home all day long so your animal will get lots of attention! I currently am home all day long. We love kid friendly dogs! The kids go to school but are happy to help once they come home! We would love the extra pup! Our pets are maintained in a clean environment. We have a fenced in yard and a little dog door so they are able to have a little freedom but are still safe. And we make sure that they have food and water as they need it.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. Throughout middle school and my teen years, I helped neighbors by dog sitting, walking, and doing drop-in visits, often just for playtime and companionship. One of the dogs I cared for regularly was a sweet senior named Duke, who I’d take outside and spend time with while his owner was away. These experiences taught me how to adapt my care for both high-energy pups and older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: I have a very dog friendly home with a dog door accessible to a large fully fenced in yard. If your dog enjoys swimming during the summer months, my pool is dog friendly. I enjoy sending photos and videos of your pup(s) all day long. I visit the dog park for ball throwing and safe, leashed walks 2-3 times a day. At home play breaks in the fenced in yard are common practice in my house. Snuggles on the couch are a must! My yard is completely safe for dogs. I always provide fresh water and enjoy spending time with dogs: petting them, playing with them, talking to them and walking them. Dogs are the best! They all have their own personality and there is something special and charming about every dog.
