“If there is anyone that I would want to watch my dog while I was out of town it would be Chris (she’s also a local Vet tech). She took great care of my child/dog Aldo while I was gone for a few days. She always sent me pics of him having a great time at her house playing with the all the toys and her 2 dogs, always took him for walks, and gave him treats. He usually sleeps on his bed on the floor but when I came back he was sleeping on Chris’ bed... Now he sleeps in my bed every night since I picked Him up!! 5/5 stars and a great person too!”

About: I am an experienced animal caretaker for pets with a wide range of needs. I had my own cat that later in life needed subcutaneous fluids, pills, and shots so I am experienced with the trickery of loving care while an animal is in a difficult situation. I have had my own high energy dog who needed a high level of engagement for the first six years of her life while also training through leash reactivity and fear behaviors. About: I had a dog who I cared and deeply loved for 6 years, she unfortunately passed away due to medical issues. I moved here to Seaside about 4 months ago due to my husband being in the military and have already watched over several dogs ranging from small to large sizes. I met a good friend whose dog has anxiety, so I have learned how to handle/comfort dogs who are going through the same thing. I hope to connect with your pet and give them the best care possible! I am a stay at home mom to a one year old boy who adores animals and loves walks. I get up pretty early in the morning and use some of that time to let them out to potty, provide their breakfast, and go on a little walk! I have a playground and dog park right by my home where they can roam around and have some fun:) I do not have pets of my own. I do have a one year old boy. If your dog has shown aggression towards little kids even in the past, it will not be a good fit to have them here with me. I have a fenced backyard. If you require your pet to be in a crate for any reason or at a certain time (it usually has only been when I’m out for errands or during bed time) I would of course just need to know ahead of time:) I’d really want the area safe for everyone including your own pet:) We can always work around what you want/prefer when I am caring for them!

I am currently a full time graduate student which consists of a pretty busy schedule during the week but leaves the weekends very open. Max is a grumpy old boy and Jesse did great with him! Jesse was communicative regarding drop off and handling the changes in my plans. He took him out on leashed walks, to his building's fenced off leash and just generally did his best to give Max a great time. I would definitely recommend him for your pups.

We had a two week vacation to Hawaii planned with our family but had never left our dog overnight with anyone outside the family.
