“Johemy was amazing with our Daisy! She sent us daily pics, and it was obvious Daisy thrived in her care. Excellent communication from the very start. We would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter! Thank you so much Johemy!”

“Dilan was incredibly responsive! Even with my last-minute request, he was able to take great care of my dog, Rambo. Communication was excellent throughout, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely book with him again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“it’s was our first time working with a pet sitter and I was really a little anxious about it, but immediately felt comfortable around Jesse and trusted that he was going to take good care of my dog. We were visiting the area for an anniversary and on the last day decided we wanted to check out the aquarium and Jesse accommodated us so we could have one last adventure in the area before picking our pet up. Thank you for taking such good care of Yuki, Jesse!”

“Denise is the best! I was dreading leaving my dog and Denise reassured me before and during shortie’s stay. She sent me many updates. Shortie had a BLAST!!!!! I feel so much better now knowing that there is someone I can trust leaving shortie with. Thank you so much for taking care of Shortie!!!!!”

“Such a loving and caring family. My dogs walked in as if they walked into their home. I left them feeling confident that they were in good hands. Cecilia is great in communication and sending pitfie updates we would definitely go back.”

“Citlali and her family were amazing and super accommodating. I would definitely recommend her b/c my dog is extremely apprehensive with people but warmed up to her right away. Going to be booking with her again for sure if she’s available when I leave town again😊”

About: There was never not a dog in my house growing up, so caring for dogs is second nature to me. Over the years I’ve taken care of everything from purebreds to mutts, and while I’ve always had a soft spot for rescues, I love all dogs equally and treat every one like family. I work primarily from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I can offer plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I know how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll always do my best to stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I live in a clean, quiet, pet-friendly home with my wife, who’s also a big animal lover. We don’t have kids or pets of our own, so we’re able to keep things calm and give your pet our full attention. Safety always comes first with me. I follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions closely, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Danae was a great sitter! I reached out to her last minute to take care of Wally and she responded quickly and positively. She spoiled Wally for the night she had him and Wally enjoyed his time with her and her dogs. Danae also sent lots of photos which I love. So happy I was able to find her. :)”

“Donna was available for my last minute request to care for my little guy. Although we had never met, Donna's calm and friendly nature when I dropped his off assured me that Junior was in good hands. Her patio access off the living room was easy for Junior to recognize where to go "potty" and he enjoyed exploring this private outdoor area. She is experienced with dogs and special care. I will definitely be reaching out to Donna again soon for my next doggie care. Thank you Donna - I appreciate you!”

“Angie was great! We have a 2 year old Goldendoodle and his 5 month old son (1/2 Siberian Husky). They’re quiet a handful together. This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone else and were a little nervous but I felt super comfortable leaving our dogs with Angie. She sent me photos frequently and communicated very well with me. It looks like our dogs had a great time during their stay with her during the 3 days! I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Kelly and her wonderful boys provided a great home away from home for our fur baby! We received many updates and pictures, as Kelly is a great communicator & caretaker! Louie went into her arms upon arrival which was a great sign to me. We would use Kelly again without hesitation. It also warmed my heart that she indicated a willingness to welcome Louie again too!”

“If there is anyone that I would want to watch my dog while I was out of town it would be Chris (she’s also a local Vet tech). She took great care of my child/dog Aldo while I was gone for a few days. She always sent me pics of him having a great time at her house playing with the all the toys and her 2 dogs, always took him for walks, and gave him treats. He usually sleeps on his bed on the floor but when I came back he was sleeping on Chris’ bed... Now he sleeps in my bed every night since I picked Him up!! 5/5 stars and a great person too!”

“Christina was amazing with keeping us updated with our fur babies. Picked them up and they of course where happy to us but can tell they where sad to leave. If we need a dog sitter again I the future will go with Christian.”

“Asta was wonderful. She met me well in advance to let our dogs meet to make sure they would get along, she was very amenable about an early morning drop off so we could make an early flight, and she sent lots of pictures throughout my pup's stay. She also gave him his medications and took great care of him. He was healthy and happy when I picked him up. Couldn't be happier.”

“Shayne was awesome! She seemed very capable and responsible and was super easy to work with. She always quickly responded too! Overall, she was super sweet and I’d definitely use her again!!”

“Carol was an incredible sitter during our trip! We felt so fortunate to leave our beloved and somewhat spoiled mini golden doodle, Augie, in the hands of both Annabelle and Carol. Their warmth and genuine care made all the difference for him. Augie was so happy and well-fed during his stay, which is quite an achievement given his picky eating habits! We would absolutely choose Carol again if given the chance. She was incredibly responsible with our precious pup and even accommodated us by allowing a late pickup. Thank you, Carol, for providing such a loving space for our furry Baby!”

Dilan was incredibly responsive! Even with my last-minute request, he was able to take great care of my dog, Rambo. Communication was excellent throughout, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I’ll definitely book with him again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend! 🐾

Mary was wonderful with our dog Sadie! She was kind, attentive, and kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind. Sadie came home happy and relaxed, and it was clear she had a great time with Mary. We would absolutely trust Mary with Sadie again and highly recommend her!

Johemy was great! Valentina had a great time with her and we received pictures every day we were gone. She was easy to deal with, we had a meet and greet ahead and when we were late getting back due to car issues she was very nice to keep Valentina a few extra hours. Would definitely have Valentina stay with Johemy again. Thank you Johemy!

If I could leave 10 stars, I would! Gino + Beans are the duo to love your pup like one of their own. I’m a new dog Mom to a 5 month old Pitty-mix, Rü. Gino took extra time out of his day to meet Rü and I before hand to calm my nerves, and for me to be there to introduce Rü to Beans (I felt like a mom sending their baby to camp for the first time 😂) Having Gino watch Rü felt like having a team mate; on board to implement Rü’s training, he followed my schedule/routine, and not only checked in with adorable photos but also checked in when he had minor concerns. This made me feel included and comforted, and not at all like I just dropped off my puppy with a stranger that I met on an app. Gino + Beans feel like family to me now, and I truly cannot sing their praises enough. Extra EXTRA stars for the cutest photo updates!

We are always happy to book our older dog with Tanya and Rob. They treat him wonderfully and send lots of updates, and we joke that our dog is going his own vacation during his stays. it’s a comfort to know that he is in good hands and having a nice time. Absolutely would recommend and book again!

Judy did a great job with my corgi Lupin! Good communication, daily pictures and reports. I am often nervous leaving Lupin with new people, but Judy put my mind at ease. I knew Lupin had frequent access to the yard, and multiple choices of beds to nap in (which is how she likes it). Judy is my new go-to for dog-sitting.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
