Hello, My name is Denise and I would love to care for your pets (cats, dogs, rabbits) and walk your dog(s). I have two cats and had the honor of owning two dogs and two rabbits over the last 33 yrs. I've worked as a Veterinary Assistant, have dog-walking, basic training, and dog-sitting/boarding experience. I work with senior dogs and can administer both oral and injected medicine for dogs. Besides cat and dog care, I can care for rabbits; I’ve owned two and rabbit-sat for my parents many times. I have interned with an animal shelter, and am currently volunteering at my local Dog Rescue, working on behavioral enrichment and leash/walking manners.

Denise was a great host to Bailey! She saved us with last minute availability and she sent us lots of updates and took very good care of her. If we are ever back in town we will definitely look into her availability.
Denise is marvelous. She offered a meet and greet ahead of time. She communicated throughout the day. My dog felt safe with her, which allowed me to relax. It couldn’t have been easier.
Excellent communication from time of booking through pick up. Was on time to pick up dogs and they were ready for pick up at designated time. Sent great photos. Updated water per and poop notes. Will definitely use again if in the area. And would highly recommend her.
Denise was so wonderful, and Everett had a fantastic time! I will definitely reach out to her again next time we’re in the area and need someone to watch our fur baby! Highly recommend!
Denise was so great with Hank and it was so nice to know he was being taken care of.

Schedule
I volunteer at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and at my son’s school. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own and my schedule is flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I can do drop-in visits for your dog(s) in the comfort and safety of your home; bathroom breaks, mealtimes, playtime, routines, specific needs, and walks will feel more familiar and natural. Cat and rabbit care will need to be in your home. I can care for dogs in my home and have both a spacious, fenced in backyard and front yard. I’ll give them snuggles, supervised playtime in the yard, walks, bathroom breaks, and meals, if requested. Pets are allowed on our couch and beds, so please let me know if you’d prefer them off of furniture so I can abide by your house rules.
Pets
A typical day
We’ll play and relax both indoors and out. I’ll walk your dog(s) either around your neighborhood or mine. If you’ve got a yard, we’ll play with toys and fetch there, too. Both our back yard and front yard is fenced in and spacious and I will not leave them unsupervised outdoors. Belly rubs and snuggles are in store for them and I’ll provide you with captured moments of fun with photos and videos (with your permission, of course).
