John came over for a meet and greet, and our dogs were comfortable with him within minutes! He has an easy going, calm and gentle demeanor, which I think we can all appreciate. John came over the next morning right on time and we knew he’d take good care of our babies and our home. He kept us updated along with photos. Thank you for everything, John!”

“Dee was fantastic. She knows how to handle animals. She will spoil your best friend while you are away on your vacation. We were away for 9 days and normally we would have felt the need to contact past sitters to check in, with Dee we did not. She sent us pictures and gave us updates through the Rover app. Our house was nice and clean when we arrived back home and nothing was missing (HONEST DOG/HOUSE SITTER) hard to find. You will be happy you selected Dee.”

About: Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid – American Red Cross Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a wide range of pets, scaled or furry, young and old. Whether your pet is young and playful or a senior in need of a little extra care, I look forward to giving them the best care they need. I’ve cared for many medium to large dog breeds such as Labrador Retrievers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Siberian and Alaskan Huskies, and Malamutes. I also have experience with smaller breeds like Dachshunds and French Bulldogs. For cats, I’ve grown up with them in my own home as well as cared for friends and neighbors over the years. I currently share my home with two of my own, Ulysses and James 🐈 🐈⬛. Reliable, compassionate, and trained in pet first aid, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm also happy to help with simple household tasks like bringing in packages or taking out the trash. Feel free to reach out during a visit and let me know! 🕓 Schedule I have a fairly flexible work schedule. I do work a typical 9-5 but can pop in and out for short periods of time. Please message me and we can get you on my schedule ☺️ 💛 Care I think having a set routine for pets is very important, especially when you’re away. Ideally I would try to best emulate what schedule you have your pet on with walks and feeding schedule.

About: I have been around all type of animals since I was born. I grew up with a weekly visit to my families farm, which kickstarted my passion for animal-care and provided a strong foundation to understanding all creatures and ensuring they are living their best lives. In high school, I worked at a dog-boarding facility called Shamrock Ranch, feeding, walking, and loving on the residents. Since graduating in 2020 and moving to San Diego, I have acquired my own pack of 3 land-sharks, all with their own array of needs being rescue dogs. Hence, I am capable and comfortable handling dogs with special needs, reactivity, and those who just need a little longer to warm up. I also have been rescuing rats for years, so I am very familiar with their needs and would love to help with yours! I currently only work at farmers markets on the weekends serving up Buddah bowls, so my schedule is wide-open on weekdays and weekend afternoons / evenings. Having rescue dogs with different needs, I am always very aware of my surroundings and observant of potential triggers. I am also a very detail oriented person, always double-checking that the doors are locked behind me, etc.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, when I got my first soul pet, Mimi. She was my best friend, and I was lucky to share 19 beautiful years with her. Since then, I’ve lived with and helped raise six more dogs, including my sweet Luna, who we adopted during the pandemic. There’s nothing I love more than spending time with dogs, and it would truly be an honor to care for and bond with yours. I bring years of hands-on experience, deep affection, and a calm, responsible approach to every dog I meet! I’m a graduate student at SDSU studying public health, so I’m definitely available during the evenings and weekends, and my weekdays are often flexible. I always make time for my pups, and I’d be happy to work around your schedule to make sure your dog gets all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy apartment with my sweet 6-year-old Pomchi mix, Luna. She’s incredibly gentle, friendly, and used to being around other dogs. I have a large crate available if needed, and I treat all pets like family. Luna is allowed on the couch, but I always wash her paws after our daily walks. I keep pee pads down just in case, and there are always plenty of toys, treats, and fresh water to keep pups happy and comfortable. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all your instructions carefully. I stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications they need. I also keep your home clean and tidy, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Courtney was awesome!! We were out of the country for several days, with a large time difference, and Courtney was great about making sure to send cute pictures and updates each day. About: I have over 15 years experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up living with large breed dogs in my home and have gained experiencing caring for dogs, cats, and other critters (birds, tortoises, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) all of sizes in my community as a trusted sitter and Humane Society volunteer. I have cared for dogs young and old, puppies who required constant care and seniors with mobility support needs. I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication and bathing dogs upon request and direction. I currently live with a curious 9 year old feline named Luna and am planning for our next four legged friend. Since moving to San Diego from the Bay Area, I’ve missed daily walks with my family’s dog, a Siberian Husky Malamute mix also named Luna, and cherish each opportunity I get to bring that care, joy, structure, and stimulation to a dog’s daily life. Safety, trust, and wellness are my top priorities when engaging with your pet. It is important to me to honor each pet’s unique needs, personality, and boundaries with each meeting. I look forward to being a loving, reliable human in your pet’s life. I am currently working remotely with a flexible schedule. For Summer 2025 drop-ins and walks, I am available between 8 am and 8 pm Sun-Sun. Trust and reliability are central to my work as a sitter and caregiver. As no two pets or homes are alike, it’s important to me to understand you and your pets’ unique needs and preferences and adapt my care accordingly. I want to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe, and your home clean and comfortable. I love snapping photos to keep you updated on how your pet is doing throughout our time :)

“Tristan was very communicative during his stay w/ my pup. Sent pictures, took her on walks, and showed her all the love she asked for (she’s a stubborn husky). If there was anything he was unsure of he immediately messaged me to get clarification. Friendly and active, I will def be booking w/ him again.”

“Megan is an exceptional animal caregiver..good with cats and dogs. We have 2 huskies that are quite rambunctious and full of energy. She walks them twice a day ( on leash of course) and spends time with them after they eat. She also does poop pickup if needed while you are away. My huskies just adore her. Would highly recommend!”

Clayton J.
“I have known Clay his whole life, as he grew up Nextdoor to us. He has been taking care of my (now senior) dog for the past 5 years, and I always come back to him happier than he was when we left. He has also taken care of our foster cats we've had over the years, as well as fed the outdoor street cats we care for. I couldn't recommend Clay any higher.”

“Genesis is amazing. From the very first visit, they made me and my dog feel totally comfortable. They’re super reliable, great with communication, and truly care about animals. I always get the sweetest updates, and my dog absolutely lights up when they come by! Whether it's a walk, a weekend stay, or just checking in while I'm at work, I know my dog is in good hands. It’s such a relief to have someone I can count on who treats my pup like family. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them!!”

“Bianca is an amazing sitter. Every time I need someone to care for my cats , I call her because I know she will take great care of my babies 🐈⬛. She goes and beyond with her care, often bringing treats for them and keeping me up to date on pet related news and information. She helped me with recommendations for allergy friendly food and litter which has made a huge difference for me and the cats. She is great at thinking of creative ways to provide enrichment and always sends me photos of the fun. My cats’ space is also always tidier after Bianca leaves. She’s quick to solve any problems that may arise and is a reliable, clear communicator. I don’t trust anyone else with my home and babies.”
